Story
My daughter found Rocket at the Hobbs animal shelter when he was approximately 6 months old in July of 2025 and immediately fell in love. He was high energy and sweet from the get-go but she lives in a college apartment and was not able to accommodate Rocket and his needs so my husband and I assumed responsibility for him short term until we could find him a good home. My husband and I both travel extensively for work and also work long hours so we are unable to care for him permanently. Rocket loves to be outdoors and ideally needs a large space with other animals, though he would be quite happy as a single pet. He is a true pointer with endless energy and the ability to get along with all animals. He does actually point! He would be a tremendous hunting companion and/or would be an asset on a farm or ranch. Rocket is kind and full of personality. We believe he is just over a year old. He is completely potty trained with no accidents. He is a working dog!

Story
We bought Lady from an experienced breeder last summer. She is about 10 months old. She has her core shots but is currently not vetted. I think she would ideally fit in with other dogs or animals. She is very playful and energetic. Unfortunately, we cannot give her all of the attention she is currently needing given our family circumstances.

Labrador Retriever Doberman Pinscher

House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Meet Bailey. She is approximately 7years old. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed and current on vaccinations. Bailey is a loving dog with very good house manners. She is active and needs an active family or owner with a fenced back yard. She likes kids, but she has not been around very small children, so she might not know to be careful. For that reason only, we recommend that she not go to a family with children under 10 years old. Bailey is friendly with people and she gets along with other medium and large dogs with a proper introduction. She has not been around very small yappy dogs or cats so we don't recommend that. If you are interested in adding Bailey to your family, please contact Painted Paws Rescue Ranch. Her adoption fee is a $250 tax deductible contribution to our Spay/Neuter fund.
