Story
Meet Bailey. She is approximately 7years old. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed and current on vaccinations. Bailey is a loving dog with very good house manners. She is active and needs an active family or owner with a fenced back yard. She likes kids, but she has not been around very small children, so she might not know to be careful. For that reason only, we recommend that she not go to a family with children under 10 years old. Bailey is friendly with people and she gets along with other medium and large dogs with a proper introduction. She has not been around very small yappy dogs or cats so we don't recommend that. If you are interested in adding Bailey to your family, please contact Painted Paws Rescue Ranch. Her adoption fee is a $250 tax deductible contribution to our Spay/Neuter fund.

Story
I got Penny from a shelter in Clovis, NM in 2016. She is very sweet and gentle, good with kids and other pets. She can be skittish at times, but never becomes aggressive or agitated. She is house trained and is great for walks. She also loves cuddles and to have her butt scratched. Since we now have two small children in the home, she does not get the attention she deserves. We are looking for a home that can keep her active and happy.

Story
Very, very active dog. Leia is a sweetheart & loves to please. She is obsessed with playing fetch with any object a human being can toss, but prefers a ball. Leia is house trained and crate trained. Her crate is her happy place. Leia prefers the outdoors & loves walks/hikes. She is not recall trained but is very close to it. Leia does not do well with cats, but does well with other dogs. Leia does not do well with children/kids under 15; she can be reactive to children & young teenagers when they are running around/playing. Leia would probably best be suited in a farm type of environment or somewhere with plenty of backyard/space to run around.

Story
Looking to find a home for girl Kai. She's ~4 years old and very sweet with us. She's a high energy dog that we us d to have in agility and jump training, and has been thru behavior training on leash. Now with both of us working she doesn't get the stimulation she needs. We got a 2nd dog (who could come with if preferred) to keep her company but they've gotten bored just chasing each other and are constantly trying to jump the fence and get out of the out door kennel. She would come with a crate, leashes, bowls, sleeping pillow, and toys. She responds well to commands, is house, leash, and crate trained. Loves to snuggle, she does shed. She's been fine around our 10 month old, but will growl if he or are other dog gets into her food. She lets my wife and I handle or remove her food though. She's been fine around older kids our friends and family have. Would be best in a home where kids know not take take a dog's food while they are eating.
