After being spotted wandering around by himself, this handsome fella was brought to the rescue. Because his owners were never found, he is now available for adoption. Cinco is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and appears to be housebroken. He is believed to be a Husky/Beagle mix and is approximately 5 years old. Cinco enjoys walks, playing outside, and getting lots of love from volunteers. Cinco is a sweetheart, but he hates going back into his kennel and isn’t shy about letting us know. Cinco is looking for a home where he can be free to roam & not have to be crated when family is away and with no young children due to his strong-willed personality. Oftentimes, inappropriate behaviors, such as Cinco’s temper tantrums when returning to his kennel, diminish once a dog is settled in a home. Other than this quirk, he is a happy, loving pup that is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. Cinco is probably the most affectionate dog currently under our care. He absolutely loves giving kisses, getting attention, and making people smile. Sadie Mae is a 10 year old female Chihuahua who is proof that age is just a number! She came to our rescue under heartbreaking circumstances after her owner sadly passed away. She arrived along with her son Viper, and while they make a fantastic pair, they do not have to be adopted together. Don't let their senior status fool you-Sadie Mae absoultely loves to go for walks and will happily romp around the playard, tossing her favorite toys in the air! She is incredibly friendly, loves meeting people, and is a total sweetheart. Sadie Mae is spayed, current on vaccines family reports she is pee pad trained in the house . Beth, a gorgeous adult Labrador mix is now looking for her forever family. Beths story did not start off easy. She was found as a stray during freezing winter months, terrified trying to survive the bitter elements on her own. She was caught just in time to have a safe, warm place to give birth to her beautiful liter of puppies. Now her babies are off on their own adventure and it is Beths turn to find a family who will spoil her the way she deserves. She is a big strong girl weighing 70 lbs. She loves snooping and romping around the big fenced yards and is practicing her leash manners. She is now current on vaccines and will be spayed prior to adoption. UPDATE: 07/27/2026: Finster is our longest resident; waiting 1,377 days for a home. 💔 Finster ("Fin", "Finny") was brought to the rescue as a stray after found scratching at the door of a stranger's home in the middle of the night looking for shelter. Fin loves when it's his time to come out of his kennel. He waits, acts the perfect gentleman, and takes a nice easy trot, head held high, down the aisle. Once off leash, he runs the big yard, enjoying the stretch. Sometimes he just wants to hang out, lean up against you for a nice butt scratching. He excitedly but gently walks on a leash and takes time to stop and enjoy the smells. Finny arrived with a broken tail and several marks and scars. We dont know his story, but we recognize he lived a tough life before we found him. He can be dog reactive and overly excited meeting new people, which requires some exposure before he is fully introduced. Once understood, he's easily loved and loves ❤️ Finster would do best in an adult household, and as an only pet. He will need some time to get to know you, and may require a few interactions with a committed person, but once all that is done, you can't help but love this guy!! Beneath his big-dog energy, is a sweet and eager friend, who is looking for his person; someone who will provide ongoing training, structure and exercise. Fin is house trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Rooh is a gorgeous, almost 1 year old female mixed breed who weighs a compact and solid 37 lbs. This sweet girl found herself at the rescue through no fault of her own; her previous owner took her in when Rooh needed a home, but due to health & financial challenges, made the decision to surrender her so she could find a family capable of giving her the care she deserves. Don't let that adorable, perpetually wrinkled forehead fool you, she isn't actually constantly worried, she just looks like she's solving the world's greatest mysteries! While the loud shelteer environment initially terrified her, Rooh has warmed up once she realized she is safe. Rooh previously lived with both children and other animals without any reported issues. They also reorted she is house trained and knows a couple basic commands. Because she is still in her young puppy phase, she does tend to chew on thing when unsupervised so she was crated when left alone. When she isn't showing off her goofy personality, Rooh absolutely loves romping around the big play yard and she is actively working on her leash skills. Rooh is now current on vaccines and spayed.
