Story
Sadie is a beautiful, sweet, 9 month old, female Great Dane mix surrendered to rescue by a family that removed Sadie from a hoarding situation. Unfortunately although Sadie was great with children and did fine with their cat she and the resident dog did not get along. They reported while in their home she was house trained & crate trained. Sadie has been friendly with all volunteers, walks nicely on a leash and enjoys chasing sticks in big play yard. Although she was a bit nervous & needed help getting into vehicle for a trip to the Vet once there she was an angel in the waiting room & was cooperative with testing. Sadie currently weighs 60 lbs, is current on vaccines and will be spayed prior to adoption. For more information or to schedule meet and greet please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center ( kennel license # 8704 )

Story
Della, an approximately 1 year old, female Husky /Shepherd mix was surrendered to the rescue when owner was unable to keep her in his apartment any longer. Owner who had only had Della for 3 months reported she was house trained and knew the command "sit". It was only he & Della that lived in the apartment and when he had to leave she had a seperate room she would stay in till his return. Della is looking for a home where she can be free to roam & not have to be crated when family is away and with no young children due to her resouce guarding issues & strong-willed personality. Oftentimes, inappropriate behaviors, such as Della's temper tantrums when returning to her kennel, diminish once a dog is settled in a home. Della is an active, intelligent girl looking for a family that will prioritize training ( especially regarding resource issues), physical exercise, mental stimulation along with her general daily needs. Della is house trained, current on vaccines and spayed. For more information on this beautiful girl please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center (kennel license # 8704 )

Brooklyn and Poodle , 2&1/2 year old, female Chihuahuas surrendered to the rescue due to owners health issues. They provide endless comfort, cuddles and companionship to one another so we are hoping to find them a forever home together. Both are friendly and affectionate. Brooklyn is more playful & loves to chase toys in the yard, Poodle seems to be the more bold affectionate leader. Both are current on vaccines, Poodle is spayed and Brooklyn will be spayed prior to adoption. They may be small but they bring double the love. Story
Beth, a gorgeous adult Labrador mix is now looking for her forever family. Beths story did not start off easy. She was found as a stray during freezing winter months, terrified trying to survive the bitter elements on her own. She was caught just in time to have a safe, warm place to give birth to her beautiful liter of puppies. Now her babies are off on their own adventure and it is Beths turn to find a family who will spoil her the way she deserves. She is a big strong girl weighing 70 lbs. She loves snooping and romping around the big fenced yards and is practicing her leash manners. She is now current on vaccines and will be spayed prior to adoption. Story
UPDATE: 05/01/2026: Finster is our longest resident; waiting 1,289 days [3.5 years] for a home. 💔 Finster ("Fin", "Finny") was brought to the rescue as a stray after found scratching at the door of a stranger's home in the middle of the night looking for shelter. No one ever came to claim Finster. So after 3 1/2 years, he continues to earn the hearts of volunteers at the rescue. 🧡 Fin is a smart, athletic and strong male Pitbull, who loves stretching his short legs in the big yard and taking walks. He will shred a tennis ball in record time, and sit and take his treats with poise and finesse. Finster would do best in an adult household, and as an only pet. He will need some time to get to know you, and may require a few interactions with a committed person, but once all that is done, you'll find your friend!! Beneath his big-dog energy, is a sweet and eager friend, who is looking for his person; someone who will provide ongoing training, structure and exercise. Fin is house trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines. For more information or to meet Finster please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center ( kennel license # 8704 )
