Story
Paws -In- Prison program GRADUATE! Super happy go lucky and EXTREMELY well trained. I even do a few cute tricks. My inmate trainers had so much fun training me because I LOVE to learn! I did have time around cats, kittens, other dogs and little kids but it's been a long time now! I am good with other dogs but in the beginning, I may need a few meets. I can be a "little" picky! I absolutely love to zoom all over so I would really love a fenced in yard. What I learned behind bars: House Trained Crate Trained Sit Lay Stand Heel Loose Leash Changing paces & directions WITH you Recall to the front with an auto-sit Recall with a Park It (circles around you then sits at your side) Place Watch Me Speak Leave It Touch Up Down Take It Drop It Wait Back Up Roll Over Cross Paws Kennel Up Chin Rest Take a Bow Say Your Prayers Greeting a Stranger Two Up ALL done with distance, duration, and distractions! For this reason, with all her training her adopter will NEED to attend training, so YOU understand how to communicate with her! This is a requirement. A LOT of hard work was put into her training, and we absolutely want Charlee to keep learning and using what she already knows. She is a very sweet, loving dog but doesn't require a lot of attention. She will cuddle but its normally short segments of time. YOU will be extremely lucky if you are chosen to be her adopter! Our adoption fee also includes 6-week group obedience class (value $125.) To apply to adopt: Visit our website- www.caninepartnersprograminc.org Click Adoption tab- Read about our adoption process and requirements then complete the adoption application by clicking on the rescues face. Their info will pop up with an application button. Canine Partners Program giving dogs a second chance at a happy life with our rehabilitation program! Thank YOU for considering giving them that happy home they deserve!

Story
Aren't they GORGEOUS! Wow these two girls are absolutely wonderful dogs! They are mom and pup! Thelma is mama and Louise is her pup! We do not know their past as we were not their original rescue. However when they came to us they were completely emaciated. Absolute skin over bones! It took a good solid month for them to slowly gain the weight they needed. Through all of this they remained the sweetest girls. Thelma is very house trained and Louise needs reminded to go outside frequently. Thelma is super friendly with everybody she meets and Louis is slightly shy at first but warms up quickly! Both adore each other and will remain together for adoption. Neither are good with cats. Thelma and Louise were adopted from the previous rescue and unfortunately the new owners didn't know Thelma was very dog aggressive. She had gotten loose during a walk and attacked another dog. She lost part of her ear during this fight. You can see in the pictures one ear is slightly shorter then the other. Due to Thelma dislike for other dogs we have to adopt to a home with solid privacy fence. A neighboring dog would not be best for her either. We will also require a double door entry meaning there must be a porch or mud room etc. When Thelma goes for walks she will need to be muzzled. Thelma has been properly muzzle trained and rehabilitation has been done. She can exist around other dogs and remain in a calmer state but she can NOT live with another. She should not be trusted with another dog other then her own pup... Louise. Louise is not dog aggressive. We know that Thelma may sound like a huge problem dog to adopt but she is actually wonderful!!!!! You'll just need to meet those few requirements and she will make an amazing companion. Our dogs are fully vetted. This includes spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies, microchipped, Heartworm and Lyme tested, worming, flea treatments, Heartworm prevention started and any other medical care needed. Our adoption fee also includes 6-week group obedience class (value $125.) If adopting a puppy under age we cover spay/neuter at 6 months. Adoption fee for this dog is $300 (for both girls- not each) To apply to adopt: Visit our website- www.caninepartnersprograminc.org Click Adoption tab- Read about our adoption process and requirements then complete the adoption application by clicking on the rescues face. Their info will pop up with an application button. Canine Partners Program giving dogs a second chance at a happy life with our rehabilitation program! Alpha and Omega are a bonded pair of Boxers! They are actually littermates so that means they have never lived apart. They are absolutely the sweetest dogs! Omega just can't give you enough love! They completely adore each other, sleep together, play together and simply can not live without each other. We will NOT separate bonded pairs. Both are house trained and crate trained. Neither are cat friendly. So a no kitty home is needed. Boxers in general are high energy dogs and these two are no exception. A fenced in yard will give them the room and safety they need to burn off their energy and space to do their doggie wrestling. Alpha was repeatedly attacked by another dog in his home therefore he is very cautious around other dogs. He would do best if his new home doesn't have another dog. Both were around children but not toddlers. They do well with older kids.
