Story

Winston is a Pit-Lab mix that we rescued back in 2019. We think he is around 7 years old and is full of energy. He is a very loving dog and very smart but we can’t give him the attention he needs and deserves. We recently welcomed our first baby and Winston has become much more of a handful than we can manage now. He gets bored easily and tends to get mischievous without attention. He was initially wary of our newborn but has grown accustom to the baby as it has grown. While he has been our baby for the past 7 years we need to do what is best for him. Generally, Winston is great with adults, older kids, and other dogs, but he is not good with cats and is initially wary of babies. Winston needs an owner who is able to spend the time to exercise and socialize him on a regular basis. He loves running, hiking, playing fetch & snuggles on the couch. He has been an amazing member of our family and we hope to find his forever home!

Story

Was found at in-laws in the country and vet thought he was 6-7 months old. We took him home and at 8 months started with a trainer. He leashes well , take him to stores and he does well, loves riding in pickup. We have had him Aa year almost. We walk 2-3miles in the morning on leash. Still with e-collar as the trainer said he will test the boundaries cause he is still a teen going on young adult. But have used rarely when he tries that. . Recently he has growled at my wife who has done nothing to him. And when I tried to re-introduce home tomy older sons, he sniffed and snapped with me there . Had to collar him. We have two grandsons that haven’t seen him since he first came here and I can’t take a chance of biting. Also i don’t have enough activity for him. He is specifically MY dog. He attached to me and will be good with my wife when I am out with her in the yard but….is an outside dog. Needs a mission…

With his sleek short coat and medium build, he’s the perfect size for snuggling on the couch—and that just happens to be his favorite place to be! Nick is incredibly smart, affectionate, and gentle. He thrives on companionship and would love nothing more than to be by your side—whether you’re hanging out inside or enjoying time outdoors. He’s a toy enthusiast, a devoted cuddle buddy, and a loyal shadow who simply wants to love and be loved. Nick is house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. While he had a rough patch with another dog in a previous foster home and is currently working on rebuilding his confidence around other dogs, he’s made incredible progress with guidance and patience. This toy-loving, walk-happy-go-lucky dude has grown to love his foster siblings and now thinks playtime and sprinting are the best things ever. Don't tell him he's 78 pounds and a big dog, he's still convinced he's a lapdog at heart - this cuddle bug loves snuggling. Roscoe gets along swimmingly with older kids, cats, and adults alike. Roscoe cares most about being with his person. We would consider solo pup status as a win. Structured introduction with a seasoned adopter that understands slow intro to include crate and rotate would be considered. Roscoe's been hitting the books hard lately and has mastered commands like 'no', 'sit', ‘come’, ‘place and ‘heel’. Roscoe knows to auto sit on a walk and at doors. he wants you to know he does his best when his person helps him make good decisions. Jasper is a sweet 12-year-old Terrier mix weighing around 59 pounds, and he is searching for a forever home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by the love and care he deserves. Jasper came to the rescue from the Bell County Animal Shelter after being surrendered by his owner. His owner’s wife had passed away, and he eventually had to move into a nursing home where he could no longer care for Jasper. This was not because Jasper wasn’t loved. His family found themselves in a heartbreaking situation and wanted to make sure he was safe. Now, Jasper is being cared for while he waits for the forever family he so deserves.
