Story
Hello hello! My name is Lucky and I sure do live up to my name. When I was found, I was much smaller and was so lucky to have been found by a caring person. I`ve spent several weeks in a loving foster home getting bigger and stronger. While at my foster home, I was given so many toys to play with but my favorite one of all is a simple ice cube that I can chase and bat around. I’ve been well cared for and I’m all ready to find a forever home of my own. Do you think I could be your new sidekick? If so, let`s meet soon! Cheers to 25 years at SVACA! To celebrate SVACA’s Silver Anniversary, we are reducing my adoption fee to $25! For more information contact the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority (SVACA) at 408-764-0344 or visit www.svaca.com.

Story
Shadow is a 7 year old rescue. We adopted him from PetCo in Saratoga in April of 2019 as a few weeks old kitten and when our kid was 4 years old - so he is good around small kids. He was already microchipped and neutered. He is a little wary of strangers but warms up quickly and likes to be petted and brushed. He likes to play hide and seek in the mornings but soon settles down on a sunny spot and spends the day sleeping. He likes to roam around in the garden and sit in the shadows during the day. He has not learnt to climb fences and so it is safe to leave him in the garden without fearing him going over fences. We are giving him away because we are moving out of the country and are finding it hard to find homes to rent that allow pets within our budget and would love for him to be in a caring family.

Story
Loki is a male domestic long-haired cat who the vet thinks is around 4 years old. He is all black, weighs around 17 lbs, is neutered, and fully vaccinated. Since moving into my current home, Loki has been living outside in the neighborhood. However, 8 months ago, he started consistently hanging around my house when I gave him attention and realized he is very friendly, loves being pet, company, and treats. He has been living in my garage/backyard for a while now, and the vet confirmed he is not a feral cat, but likely was abandoned. Loki is FIV positive. Even though I would love to keep him, he deserves to live indoors in the company of humans who can give him love, safety, and a comfortable life. He is a vocal cat who spends most of his day sleeping and sunbathing. He should be kept indoors with supervised outdoor time. I care a lot for him and hope to find him a good forever home!

Story
Sadie is a 10-year-old long-haired with a gentle, thoughtful personality. She’s independent, low-maintenance, and happiest in a peaceful, low-key environment. She enjoys doing her own thing and doesn’t need constant attention, making her a wonderful companion for someone who values calm energy and quiet presence. She’s affectionate on her own terms and can be such a sweetie once she feels comfortable—those moments of affection feel extra special because she chooses them. She loves warm, cozy spaces like sunny windows, blankets, and heaters, and will happily spend her days relaxing nearby. She can be shy around new people and loud environments, but thrives with patience, routine, and respect for her space. She would do best in a calm home with someone who appreciates an independent cat with a soft, loving side and understands that trust takes time. In the right home, she’ll be a peaceful, comforting presence and a truly special companion. Sadie is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsMarch 8, 2026, 1:51 am

Story
Biscuit is a 7-year-old, neutered Domestic Longhair with a heart as big as his fluffy frame. This handsome boy is the definition of a companion cat, his favorite place in the world is right next to his people, soaking up pets, cuddles, and attention. In fact, Biscuit would happily spend hours curled up in your lap, purring away while you shower him with affection. A social and loving cat, Biscuit enjoys being part of the family and thrives on companionship. He loves lounging in sunny spots, greeting visitors, and making himself comfortable wherever his humans are. He also gets along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs when introductions are done gradually and thoughtfully. Biscuit is an indoor-only cat who is looking for a home where he can receive the attention and interaction he craves. His current owner cares deeply for him and is making the difficult decision to rehome him due to significant life changes and a demanding schedule. Biscuit has been missing the level of companionship he enjoys and would flourish in a home where someone is around more often to spend time with him. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate best friend who will happily keep your lap warm and your heart full, Biscuit may be the perfect match. He is ready to bring years of love, companionship, and cuddles to his forever family. Adoption Fee: $100 (to be donated to The Dancing Cat, helping support cats in need while ensuring Biscuit finds a committed and loving home).  Biscuit is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsJuly 21, 2026, 12:42 am
