Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Mighty Hunter Syracuse was recently rescued from a colony of community cats. He was way too friendly and sweet to have been out there very long. He is playful--- especially fond of wand toys and tunnels! He likes to chat-- wants to tell you all about his day and asks when is the next meal. He is still adjusting to the indoor, pampered life style-- Pampering includes a full food bowl. Syracuse has food insecurities and needs to know where's the next meal. He will tell you is very specific terms that he wants more! Then he proceeds to throw some of it out of the bowl in his enthusiasm. Wet food and treats are always welcome. Playtime includes running after feathered toys. He quickly goes into hunt mode when given the signals. Warning, Syracuse can get over stimulated when playing and may need personal quiet time before lounging next to his humans. Syracuse loves human company. He wants play and companionship. He's not keen on sharing his humans with other cats. Syracuse is best as a single cat in a multi-person household. All his cat energy needs an output. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Princess with a Big Heart & TailMercedes is a fun loving princess looking for her forever home. Mercedes is initially shy and it takes a few days for her to take over the house. Then she will own the place and will tell you so. She is quite vocal when she wants to play and at meal times. She loves chasing after feather and other wand toys. She requires you to participate. She naps on her own and plays with her humans. Mercedes wants to be a lap cat but she needs to know you first. Initially she prefers to sit next to her human while they read or watched television. She enjoys brushing. It's needed to care for all that fluff. That fur makes her look larger than she is. After years as a single cat, Mercedes is not prepared to share her human with another cat. She truly wants to be the princess in the castle. When Mercedes returned to us she received a complete medical check up and updated vaccines. Unfortunately the vet found two problems. Mercedes has a grade 2-3 heart murmur and mild to moderate hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She receives twice daily oral medication that she takes without complaining. Fortunately Mercedes is completely asymptomatic and enjoys and active life. Her heart problems do not stop her from running around just like a healthy cat. Come meet Mercedes and her tail. It has a life of its own. Here is her kitten bio: Mercedes was named after the car under which she was found. She was a scrappy little girl at 1.5 lbs, ready to take on all comers. With some TLC and regular meals, Mercedes no longer hides under the bed and prefers being with people. She knows being an extrovert is a lot more fun. While she plays well alone, attacking her toys and packing paper, she prefers interacting with her human friends getting them to move the wand toys and using their legs as launch pads. After playtime, a lap is a good place to crash. Mercedes is vocal only at meal time. She has the cutest “mew.” She also likes a solid routine: food, play, nap, cuddlesVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU   Lots of energy.  Very affectionate. Likes to be petted on tummy. Scares easily. Likes to play. Unsure if she gets along with other cats. Unsure if she gets along with dogs. She hasn’t received any vaccines that I’m aware of.    Donut’s Story:   Donut has been living in my apartment complex. Two months ago, she got attacked by a Racoon and half her face was gone. I got her medical attention and she has been healing and staying in my bedroom. She still gets scared and will hide under the bed, but she is very affectionate and will seek out and demand pets. She likes to have her belly rubbed.     She has made no effort in trying to escape my room. The side of her face is almost completely healed. She only has a small scratch now. I am not able to keep her in my room for very much longer as my cats are becoming increasingly distressed because they don’t have access to my room. I don’t want to put her back outside because of the raccoons we have in my complex and I don’t think she anyone looking out for her outside. I am also planning on moving at the end of the year. She is very sweet and she deserves a chance at a loving home because I don’t think she’ll survive outside on her own.   please contact Jerri at halfpintsmom5@gmail.com for more infoVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 15, 2026, 1:54 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Charm is a really sweet and gentle kitty. She’s a shy and cautious cat, but once she warms up she LOVES pets, scritches, belly rubs, and will flop over lots and heatbutt you for more. She has the softest silkiest fur and loves her chin being brushed. She will practically do it herself by rubbing her face into the brush.   She’s great at keeping herself occupied and loves to play with her toy mice and run around, especially at night. She likes to tiptoe around very adorably when exploring. She does like her alone time and her naps in a cozy and quiet corner, but she will come out and greet you with a stretch and occasional squeak when she’s feeling social, or as soon as she hears the sound of the treat bag. Charm needs a quiet, one person home where she can continue to blossom into the sweet girl that she is!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Marcel must be adopted with his sister Margot** All of our kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home. All of our  kittens are only available for adoption in pairs  as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home without another same aged kitten. We also do not place kittens older than six months into homes where there is currently not another young cat in residence. Most of our kittens are in "bonded pairs" or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority. =^..^=Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2026, 1:31 am
