Story
🐾 Meet Boston! 🐾11-week old Boston is pouncing his way to the adoption scene! Whether its hanging in the cat condo or zooming around with cat friends, this playful boy lives each day to the fullest. Beneath the black fuzzy fur and sparkling green eyes is a kitten who is ready for adventure when the sun comes up. He is sociable, gentle and playful, but also a sensitive bundle of fluff who needs a little extra time to get comfy. Once he does, he's full mini panther status ready to spend all 10 lives with his favorite person- you! Boston has been honored with being CATaylst cat, and hopes you will grab an iced coffee, fill out an application and head over in your cah to scoop him up into his forever home today! Boston has an appointment in Providence, Rhode Island, for their spay/neuter on August 3. This appointment is included in the cost of adoption, but the adopter is responsible for getting the cat to/from the appointment (8 am drop off, 2 pm pick up).We are unable to reschedule this due to the limited availability of low-cost spay/neuter appointments. If you cannot accommodate a weekday appointment, we ask that you consider adopting a kitty that is already spayed/neutered.___________________________Spay & Neuter Disclosure:To facilitate adoptions and open more foster space, this kitten is being adopted with a spay-neuter adoption agreement. An appointment for services has been scheduled and the adopter will be responsible for transportation and post-surgical care. Appointment information will be provided during the application process and the spay/neuter cost is inclusive of the adoption fee. The adopter is responsible for providing an e-collar and monitoring the incision site for infection. Any post-surgical complications are the responsibility of the adopter and should be treated by the adopter's vet. If you are unable to accommodate a weekday appointment, we kindly ask that you consider another adoptable cat who is already spayed or neutered. ___________________________CATalyst cats:At Ten Lives, we believe in saving the most at-risk cats of our community. Many times, these cats require extraordinary medical care and extensive stays in their foster homes before they are ready for adoption. But we don’t think time or money should ever get in the way of a cat receiving the care they deserve! To help us care for these cats, we have increased fees for other cats who are in high demand–such cats aid us in catalyzing change within our community. When you adopt a CATalyst cat, you aren’t just providing a forever home for them; you’re helping many other cats at Ten Lives, like our Forgotten Felines!Thank you for allowing us to continue our life-saving work!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. RuPawl is serving shy glamor, emotional depth, and a strict “no paparazzi please” policy. 💅✨At around 11 months old, this fluffy little queen is still warming up to the spotlight. She’s a sensitive girl who takes time to feel safe with people, but she has recently started accepting a few gentle pets on her terms and showing little glimpses of her personality behind the scenes. Her rider's requirements are fairly simple: wet food, wand toys, and supportive cast members. RuPawl absolutely loves other cats and seems to feel much more confident when she has feline friends around her, so we think she’d do best with a calm, friendly cat companion.RuPawl is looking for a patient adopter who understands that some divas need a longer rehearsal period before their big debut. She may not be ready to lip sync for her life just yet, but with time, love, and a low-pressure home, we think this fluffy superstar is going to absolutely steal the show. 🖤___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! 🐟 Meet Titten – winner of the 2026 international wet food eating contest 🐟Our happy 1-year-old FeLV+ girl Titten is a bundle of floof with permanent bed head that only adds to her charm. She loves spending her days curled up in oversized cat beds or perched in her cat tree, watching the birds and squirrels outside. Happy to be indoors, Titten is appreciating the finer things in life—springy toys, fancy feather wands, and, of course, plenty of delicious wet food.Titten gets braver each day, and we love seeing her confidence grow. Story
I've had Mio since she was a kitten. She still acts very much like a kitten. She is very friendly and warms up to you when you let her come to you. Especially if you are still for a while on a couch or sleeping. Even though she looks like a kitten still, she is 12 years old. She needs some help with dental care and would do well with someone who is home a lot and will play with her. She loves pets and snugging but gets scared with nail cutting or being picked up, but she can learn with someone who can patiently and slowly work with her until she's comfy. Everyone who meets her loves her as much as she loves them. She just wants to be adored.
