Story
Leo is a handsome, sweet, fluffy long long-haired male orange tiger. He was rescued from an over-population situation at a local barn. He will be a great indoor pet. He is approximately 3 to 4 years old. (born ~9/2020) Leo will be shy at first when meeting new people, but will soon seek out your lap for a few pets and brushes. He loves to be brushed and pampered, but his favorite is to receive treats. He is a great bird watcher and will lie in his favorite bed or on top of a cat tower, watching all the activity outside. He is a very fancy lounge kitty - he will sprawl out and air out his belly - it’s adorable! He is very playful and gets very excited about interactive toy play with a wand toy. He would do well as an only cat or with another cat and no young kids. Prior to a vet visit, Leo will require medications you can get from your vet to ease his anxiety. Leo will make a great addition to any family. All of our cats and kittens receive an exam, are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home, so if you want to meet him or her, please fill out an adoption application. Applications can be found on our website at www.angelcathaven.com. It can be filled out online or emailed to adoptions@angelcathaven.com. If you have submitted an application and have been waiting to hear back from us for a few days, please check your SPAM folder. Story
Sylvester is a handsome, funny, and affectionate short-haired male orange and white tiger. He was rescued from an over-population situation at a local barn. He will be a great indoor pet. He is approximately 3-4 years old (born ~9/2020). Sylvester is very nosy, and enjoys. a cat that enjoys supervising other kitties and humans. He’s known as a diva - he loves getting his picture taken, playing with string boys, being brushed, and eating Churro treats right out of the tube - while you hold it for him! Sylvester loves all humans and kitty friends and welcomes anyone who walks through the door. It takes him a few minutes to warm up to new people, but he enjoys any attention that comes his way. Sylvester would do best in a home that can provide him the attention that a diva deserves. Ideally, he would do best as a single cat or with another friendly cat and no young kids. Prior to a vet visit, Sylvester will require medications you can get from your vet to ease his anxiety. He would be a great addition to your home! All of our cats and kittens receive an exam, are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped. Story
Comet here, and I'm a dapper boy just under 6 years old who is on the hunt for a sunny spot to call home this spring and summer! I'm a joyful panther who thrives on spending quality time with my humans, especially when there's playtime involved. Whether it's chasing after toys or indulging in some catnip fun, count me in!Now, here's a little backstory about me: I came to Ten Lives after facing multiple urinary blockages, which led to a successful PU surgery – a procedure aimed at reducing the risk of future blockages. Since then, I've been doing great and haven't had any blockages! However, to keep me in tip-top shape, I'm on a special prescription urinary diet. It's essential that I stick to this diet to maintain my health, as I'm still prone to UTIs and may require additional vet visits when these occur. Despite these considerations, I'm a loving and affectionate companion who's ready to be your one and only feline friend, though I love kids and dogs! My pals at Ten Lives have been amazing in taking care of me, and I'm forever grateful. They can provide all the details about my special diet and medical needs when you inquire about adopting me. Together, we can make every day feel like a sunny adventure! And guess what? My adoption fee is is sponsored! I am now accepting adoption applications, available below!Have questions about PU surgery? Ask our team and read more about it here: https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/perineal-urethrostomy-surgery-in-cats___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
I have had Opie about four years and he is around five years old! He is truly the nicest and sweetest kitty ever. About a year ago we got two dogs and unfortunately Opie has still not warmed up to them. He is so scared of them and isolates himself to one room. We love Opie so much but we do not want him to live in fear! We would love to see Opie go to a loving, dog free home where he felt safe.

Story
Meet Chieftess! This sweet lady takes a little bit of time to adjust to new environments, but then she's laying in bed with you ready to snuggle. She is on a urinary diet to help manage her urinary crystals, and she just had a dental procedure that left her with only a couple of teeth. She is recovering beautifully, though, and is now ready for a new home. Chieftess has lived with other cats before, and we don't know her history with dogs. Any new friends would just need to be introduced slowly since she is a nervous girl. Chieftess is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an Adopter Profile at www.parl.org/adopt and email cwohlgemuth@parl.org for more information!

Story
Introducing Cloud Walker! Cloud was brought to us as a semi-feral kitten who has learned to warm up to humans, even letting them pet her and eat treats from them. She has been in a wonderful foster where she has been able to become a sweet and affectionate girl. Since she was originally a stray, we don't know too much about her history with other animals, but she might love to have another cat friend to make her feel more comfortable. She would just need a slow introduction to ensure everyone adjusts well. Cloud Walker is currently in foster. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an Adopter Profile at www.parl.org/adopt and email cwohlgemuth@parl.org for more information!
