Story
Comet here, and I am a 5.5 year old dapper boy looking for a home for the Easter Bunny to visit me! I am a happy panther who enjoys spending time with my humans, especially when it involves playing! I love to play and would never turn down a catnip mousey. I am looking for a home full of love and extra special places to nap. I would prefer to be your one and only feline. My friends at Ten Lives have done so much for me, I am forever grateful. They even found this food that helps me feel great, which I will need to stay on to keep me healthy. My friends can tell you all about it when you ask for me, Comet, and how I can be your forever panther!Comet is now accepting adoption applications, available below!*Comet is currently enjoying a prescription urinary diet which he will need to remain on. ___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Reporting from Channel PARL, we have News Anchor and Weather Man! These two charming boys are looking for a home together. They are both very affectionate, love being brushed, and unlike most cats, when they roll over onto their backs, they really DO want their bellies rubbed! There is not one bad habit from either cat, and they would probably be terrific with kids after adjusting. They would just prefer to live in a home without other animals! Weather Man and News Anchor are both in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting them, please fill out an Adopter Profile and email cwohlgemuth@parl.org for more information!

MEET CLEO!*My adoption fee is waived* Gives Kisses! Check out her fab videos!Cleo is undeniably gorgeous and joy to be around. Cleo is a real character and everyone who meets her remarks on her wonderful curious and fun-loving personality. Perhaps Cleo also knows she`s beautiful as she loves to strut around and be part of wherever the action is, often `posing` on just about any surface and sashaying around with her impressively floofy tail held high. Cleo really likes people; in fact, we`ve discovered she`s a lap cat and loves to give kisses! When Cleo arrived, she was being treated for diabetes with insulin and a special diet, which will need to be continued in her new forever home. Come and meet Cleo - she is waiting to meet her public at our Dedham shelter! Cleo is currently up to date on all vaccinations, is spayed, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Cleo or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Cleo Likes Laps!

Story
Lincoln - Available for Adoption Lincoln is a super sweet boy who unfortunately got dealt a bad hand earlier in life. He was known to have been eating at a feral cat feeding station for at least several months before he was trapped and brought to the vet. His paws were dirty, his long fur was matted and unkempt, and his poor ears bore numerous scars, no doubt from tussles with the other local tomcats - which meant it wasn't very surprising when he also tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Shortly after his neuter and initial vet care, Lincoln became very sick. He had bad diarrhea and suddenly couldn't keep food down. His condition rapidly worsened and he required emergency veterinary care. Bloodwork revealed he was anemic and had a dangerously low platelet count. Further diagnostics were inconclusive, so a barrage of medications were prescribed in the hope that something would do the trick. Miraculously, Lincoln seems to have made a complete recovery! Follow up bloodwork showed his platelet count was still low, but nowhere near as bad as before. And, of course, he still has FIV, so he'll be more susceptible to other illnesses in the future. Being sick, however, never diminished Lincoln's spirit. He is a very affectionate and outgoing gentleman (he charmed the pants off everyone at the ER!) who is always eager for human interaction. He loves to be pet and even held. He would do well as a family pet; according to Lincoln, the math is simple: more humans = more attention!! Lincoln is estimated to be three years old and a handsome domestic long hair polydactyl. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and negative for FeLV. Given his FIV+ status and his known medical history, his new family should be fully prepared for future veterinary expenses. If you are interested in meeting this super sweet boy, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org
