Story
Roses are red, violets are blue, I long for my forever home and my name is Moo Moo. As you can see from cow-themed fur coat and unique lady beard, I'm not your typical cat. In my cutest kitty voice, I'll chat you up every day and tap, tap, tap on your arm with my soft paw when I'm in the MOO'd for love and attention. Yup, you guessed it, I'm a sweetie pie, but I need some time to acclimate before I'm 100% comfy in new surroundings. Once I'm settled in, we'll be the best of friends furrrrr-ever.My ideal situation is a laid back environment without kids or other pets. We all have quirks and preferences, right? For instance, I'm not a fan of being picked up, I'm just fine staying closer to the ground! Also, loud noises and sudden movements startle me, that's why I'm searching for solitude and a sense of security with you. If you're MOO-ved to meet me, I'm ready! If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application - and choose me, Moo Moo!My adoption fee is $100 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
I thought I had found my perfect retirement home, but then my owner got too sick to take care of me. We were both very sad that we had to part ways. Fortunately I am now in a nice foster home, but I would love a home of my own that has no other pets besides me. After all, I am an old cat and want my peace and quiet. My wants are simple:* Using polite but firm mews to let you know when it's time to cuddle* Daily constitutionals around the house - a stroll is good for the soul* Lapping up Hydra Care kitty soup* Staring out the window* Sleeping in bed with my human, so I am the first and last face you see each dayI am a senior lady, and have a few health issues. My joints are getting stiff. To keep me comfortable I go to the vet every month and get a shot of Solensia. My kidneys are a bit worn, so I eat prescription food and get subcutaneous fluids regularly. My foster mom says I am a very good patient, and she's happy to show you how to give me fluids.I am not aggressive toward other cats, I hiss and retreat. In my retirement home, I would love to have a hiss-free experience where I can be the one and only recipient of all the cuddles and treats. Don't you need a cute old tuxedo cat in your life? If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website- www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application - and choose me, Condie! Leon is looking for worshippers to gaze at him admiringly. He's beautiful and he knows it, and deserves to be treated like the prince that he is. He enjoys treats, being brushed, making judgmental faces, and more treats. He's a a reserved and quiet guy, but if you bribe him with snacks and devotion he will reward your efforts with headbutts and tiny chirps. If you are looking for a cat to love who mostly tolerates you back, Leon will make a gorgeous addition to your home.

Story
Meet Snowball who comes to BARCS through no fault of her own after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Snowball has spent some time in a foster home since she had a hard time adjusting to the shelter life. While in foster she took some time to warm up and settle so will require a patient adopter willing to give her that space and time to blossom into her best self. Her foster mom describes her as a sweet girl who wants to accept love on her own terms. She has no objection to belly rubs, paw touching, and she loves being brushed! However, it did take weeks for her to come around to allowing her foster mom to build up trust though. Snowball will require a very patient family as she can be slower to trust new humans. She has a wide range of noises from purrs to chirps and will make you follow her to her food bowl when it's meal time. This precious kitty is a quirky little lady who has a lot of personality but will for sure make a great addition to any home! When Snowball has had enough pets she will let you know so she will need her boundaries respected. She would prefer to be an only pet as other cats and dogs make her nervous. We would also recommend a home with no small kids for her. Snowball is part of our Love Lasts Forever program where her adoption fees are waived! If you are interested in meeting Snowball, she is currently residing in a foster home. Please fill out a foster adoption application or email catfosters@barcs.org to inquire.

Please read the entire description before inquiring!  Beau is a special boy with special needs who needs a special person.  Before Beau came to us, he had trauma to his spinal cord.  He is mobile (actually, he's quite fast!) and pulls himself around with his front legs.  He's about 3 years old, loves attention and likes keeping busy.  He cannot empty his bladder on his own and needs to have it manually expressed several times a day.  So a person who has had experience with this, or a medical background would be ideal, but not mandatory.   He is a beautiful cat with a beautiful spirit.  Please call us with questions or inquiries 410 880 2488 #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 27, 2024, 4:05 pm

Story
Hi everyone! Meet McGregor!🐈 🐈 McGregor (the orange one), is a fixed male, up to date on shots, and approximately 6-7 years old (we rescued him so exact age is unknown). He is very loving, loves attention and will be your best friend. He loves to cuddle and loves being held like a baby! He is litter trained and likes to explore outside. We are rehoming due to our infant being highly allergic. We have tried everything and it is not fair to our cats to be confined to a small area of our home.

Story
Hi, I'm Peanut! I'm about 2 years old, and I just showed up in an East Baltimore neighborhood one day. Unfortunately, the other cats who already lived there didn't like me and I wasn't doing very well. So some nice ladies scooped me up, and brought me inside. Turns out "inside is great! My foster mom says I have three modes: snuggly supermodel, play machine, and business cat. I mean, have you seen how gorgeous I am? I love to be brushed and to sit in your lap or nearby while you read or watch TV. Since I'm only 2 years old, I really like to play. And boy do I play hard. My favorite things to do are chase a feather wand toy through my tunnel and "hunt my treats when my foster mom throws them for me. She says I am a great huntress! You might be surprised because I'm so young, but I also have a degree in business management. I really like to sit by my foster mom on her desk and supervise her work. I think I'm a pretty chill boss; I won't give you a hard time if you fall asleep during a webinar (because I probably have too). Foster mom says I'm a good eater, good groomer, use my scratching posts reliably, and have great litterbox manners. I don't know what any of that means, but you can give me treats any time you want! Since I'm young and still kind of new to this inside life stuff, I am still getting the hang of what is appropriate play, so I'm looking for a home with someone cat savvy who can read standard cat body language. I would probably do best in a home without little kids, but I would easily be besties with a teen or other adults. I haven't met any other cats inside yet, but I don't mind my foster mom's other cats walking by my room. Since I am so playful, I might like having a buddy after a proper introduction process. Feel free to get in touch to learn more about me!
