Story
Sybil and Sebastian are a 4 year old bonded sister and brother pair and would love to find their forever home together. They take a bit to warm up but once they do they will give you lots of snuggles and talk to you as you pet them. Sybil is a sweet girl and loves to welcome you with a sweet purr and enjoys a nice pet. She does require atenolol for treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy but this does not stop her from running around or lounging in the sun. Sybil & Sebastian are neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for these cats has been waived. For more information, please email hhaag@petconnectrescue.org Cats adopted through PetConnect Rescue must be indoor only, and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). **If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Story
Shiloh is a sweet, puppy-like cat who LOVES affection, being pet on her head, and cuddling up next to you. She loves to play fetch (she will literally bring crumpled up pieces of paper up to you for you to throw and chase after them) and run up and down the stairs chasing after a toy. My heart breaks to list her here, but I want someone who can take even better care of her than I can. She loves churu treats, and she is just the sweetest cat on the planet. I will provide her cat tree, cat beds, catnip, stainless steel litterbox, litter, litter genie and scoop, litter mats, and whatever food/treats/toys I have remaining free of charge, I just want to see her go to a great home and I am willing to wait for the right person. Please consider adopting her!

Story
Meet sweet, precious Amanda! Amanda is the snuggliest 7 year old cat to ever exist! She is a beautiful 7 pound tabby with a calm, loving, and gentle spirit. Amanda loves humans and her favorite activity is to sit in your lap. When she is especially happy and comfortable she will face plant onto you. She loves to explore behind doors and has great litter box manners!  Amanda's vet agreed that she has a big heart both figuratively and literally and she is doing great on her blood pressure medication.  She does have kidney disease and her special veterinary diet is keeping things nice and stable!   Amanda is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.   Interested in adopting? Story
Peter Parker-at-a-glance: 2ish-year-old old, male, neutered brown spotted tabby, 14 lbs., up-to-date on core vaccines, microchipped and FeLV/FIV negative. Peter would like to wake up on his human on a nice warm blanket. On the perfect day he would only have wet food, weruva gravy please! He would also love to play with his treats, yes play, not eat. He gets quite the zoomies chasing some freeze dried chicken! After that he would like to take a nap next to his human, maybe even sit on top of their laptop if they’re doing something important. This big ol hunk is the best cuddler you will ever meet. Literally, he wants to be on you and wants you touching him, EVERYWHERE. He ADORES pets, you can’t give him enough. Other than his intense snuggles this boy LOVES food. He isn’t 14lbs of muscle man for no reason, broke his foster's carrier at the vet to put it nicely. Peter is a little shadow that loves people and company, he is good with children, adults, and seniors.   Interested in adopting? Of course you are! Story
Pacino-at-a-glance: 8 year old, male, neutered, DSH, 12-13 lbs., up-to-date on core vaccines, microchipped, FeLV /FIV negative. Pacino requires  anxiety medication twice a day and is on a prescription c/d diet. Pacino is THE bestest boy around! He wants to be the center of attention and adores long chin scratches. His black and white fur is effortlessly silky and elegant, but he isn't afraid to roll around and play hard. He loves his wand with feathery bait, will chase any rolling ball and favors toys that make fun crinkle sounds! They probably remind him of the sounds of food wrappers, which get him very excited. This kitty loves food and will let you know it! He wants to join in with whatever you're doing, eating, or watching so prepare to be pursued! An avid snuggler, he'll curl up on you in bed or on the couch. He builds trust fast, but is anxious about brooms and unfamiliar or loud noises. But he'll come over to you quickly if you catch his attention and call him over or pat your lap! Equal parts curious and cuddly, he'll put his face in your hand to pet his handsome nose, and give you a little kiss too. Whoever adopts this sweet diva into their home will quickly find Pacino nestled into their heart! Interested in adopting? Of course you are! Submit an application here!   April 29, 2024, 8:11 am

Story
Meet Henry, a distinguished young gentleman who is intelligent, loving, and ready for a forever home. He loves catnip toys, getting head scratches, and taking naps near his favorite humans. Henry is confident and social; he would likely do well in a home with another cat or with plenty of people to play with. Henry is fully vaccinated, negative for FelV/FIV, neutered, and has wonderful litter box manners. This cat's adoption fee is $150. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.

Story
Skittles is very affectionate once she warms up to you. She loves to play and run around. First thing in the morning she stretches then goes to her scratch post. She has a stuffed bear that I call her baby that she adores. She often would bring baby to play with her. During the day you’ll find her either in a window or napping in a chair. She’s just under 1 years old. Skittles is fully potty trained. I recently had a baby and my allergies have skyrocketed. She’s never been around kids other than my newborn but she loves sniffing my baby’s feet and when she cries Skittles will run around the house looking for me. She’s truly a sweetheart.

She's smart, vocal, and interested in being involved in everything you are doing. She loves toys that simulate hunting, like Da Bird, and flies through the air like a graceful gymnast. She will excel in a quiet household with a predictable routine and likely would appreciate the company of another feline having grown up in a cat colony. If you're a patient soul willing to give Cleo the time she needs to adjust to a new home and the play stimulation her feline instincts desire, Cleo will surely reward you by being the most loyal, loving companion.
