Story
Betty was adopted as a kitten and recently returned because she was not doing well with a new baby in the house. She is around 2 years old and would do best in a quiet household. She is sweet and affectionate. She can be shy in a new setting and adopters should be patient with her because she may hide when she first goes into a home. She would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home soon! She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/Felv tested, and microchipped.

Story
When Bahama Mama arrived at the shelter, she weighed 22 pounds! She has lost 2 pounds since her arrival at the shelter and has a few more to lose but is now ready to find her forever home! Bahama Mama is on a diet food and will need someone that is able to follow through with her weight loss program. She is a sweet girl that enjoys lounging on the short cat tree. She does not mind being brushed and will require regular brushing to keep her from matting. She will also require someone that is able to help her keep her rearend clean until she loses enough weight to keep it clean herself. Bahama Mama would love to find her loving forever home soon! She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/Felv tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.

Story
Theodora is a sweet and loving cat. She likes other cats. She has scar tissue from a traumatic neck injury, and she scratches the skin at the site open unless she is supervised or wears a safety collar. She also struggles with using a litter box properly--likely because she was a TNR cat and she was not able to learn until she was 1-2 years old. She does use the litter --she just throws the litter 2-4 feet outside of the box. She is afraid of a covered litter box. Theodora loves kids! She loves my 13 year old and my 9 year old, and she has quite a lot of patience for toddlers, as well (although, like most cats, she does have her limits) . Theodora was a foster that has turned into a long-term commitment, and, unfortunately, the cat I have had for 6 years is not able to get along with other cats. Theodora deserves a loving home with the space to roam. She needs a little bit of extra attention due to her past injury, but she returns that attention with love and affection. No dogs, please

Story
Meet Big Mac! Big Mac came to us as a stray in May 2023 and is unfortunately still with us after six months and staff does not understand why! For a kitten, Big Mac is very easy-going after he gets all of his energy out! He loves to run around and play with his brother and the other cats in our free-roam cattery and has been a big fan of tunnel toys! Big Mac is on the more reserved side compared to his brother but is just as loving. He prefers butt scratches and head rubs over being held but will happily rub against your legs when he comes to check out what you are up to! Big Mac has done great with other cats while in our care and especially enjoys hanging out with his brother. While not required we would love to see Big Mac go into a home with his brother, Ronald McDonald as they have been together for so long in our care. Stop by and meet Big Mac if he sounds like a good fit for you!

Story
Mama Marmalade came to the shelter pregnant and after spending some time in a foster home, Mama Marmalade is ready to find a home to call her own! Mama Marmalade has done well with other cats while in her foster home and our care, but does enjoy the calm and to have her own space. Marmalade is FIV+ and will need to be in a home with other FIV+ cats or cats that will not engage in any form of fighting. While contagious to other cats, FIV+ does not impact the lifespan of a cat directly. More information on FIV can be found online, or feel free to speak to staff/or a vet. Mama Marmalade loves to snooze the day away and relax on a comfy bed or blanket. Her belly is sensitive so treats should be kept to a minimum, and her food should be kept consistent to avoid upset bellies. This sweet kitty loves to talk, and will tell you all about her day! If you are looking for an easy-going, cuddle bug Mama Marmalade is the girl for you!
