Story
Meet Fritz! Fritz is a quiet, sensitive boy who’s still learning to feel safe in new places. He may be a little reserved when he first meets you and may need some extra time to adjust to a new environment. But once this man comes around, he’s very sweet and will give you all the head bumps for love. He has lived with other cats in his previous home and may do well with a calm feline companion. Fritz was surrendered due to no fault of his own after his owner was no longer able to care for him. Now he’s hoping for a second chance with someone who understands that the best relationships are worth the wait!If you`re looking for a chill and loving feline friend to keep you company, apply for Fritz today! capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING We transport kittens from South Florida. There is an epidemic of cat overpopulation in South Florida. Tens of thousands of cats & kittens suffer needlessly & need a home. We transport & adopt kittens & cats that have no chance in South Florida. Please note - we are the only legal Florida rescue importer in the state of Mass. We have 3 professional transporters deliver your kitties safely to you. One person is always in the back monitoring the health & well-being of your animal. Although we love dogs they are NEVER on our transport as it adds time & stress for your kitties. Be sure to ask questions of any rescue transporting. Are they legal & how are they transported. There is a big difference. We also use flight angels. Kind volunteers who bring a cat or kitten on a plane ride as their carry-on luggage. We are so grateful for good people. We try to get the kittens as close as we can by air. TO ADOPT A KITTEN, YOU MUST ADOPT IN PAIRS OR HAVE A YOUNG CAT. Our adoption guidelines: Must be 25 years old Must adopt young kittens (6 months or less) you must have a young cat or dog or adopt in pairs UNLESS otherwise stated. Must be a previous cat owner. Must have a vet we can speak to. CT license AIR 000534 MA charity #080383 MA licensed importer #68 USDA # 88-T-0895 Hi, I'm Belle, I'm 1.5-2 years old. I was rescued from a phone company compound where I was living with other colony cats. I was always meek and shy and another cat would chase me off, so when my feeder saw me limping he brought me in and fostered me. Well, my limp is fine now and I am happy I am safe inside. At first I was not leaving my safe place in a kitty condo cubby, but now I interact with the other house cats. I enjoy sitting on the couch with my foster family and watching TV, and of course kitty treats! I also sleep at the foot of the bed every night. I am learning to play more and be comfortable at home, I even purr now. I'm so happy. I still panic at times if there is a loud noise or a new person and run to my safe spot. I am so petite, about 7 lbs I still look like a kitten and likely always will. My fur is so soft and silky. I have not been exposed to small children or dogs and likely would be best in a home with older children or just adults. I do enjoy having a cat friend or two and always found a bff to hang with. Am I what you are looking for?

Story
Cali came into our care when she was surrendered by her family, hoping we could find another family with more time for her. She has a big personality, including very sweet times, playful times, and times she wants absolutely nothing to do with anyone (and she'll tell you, first with body language, then with her teeth, though she has shown much improvement through care at the shelter). Additionally, Cali has occasional digestive upset, for which she eats a specialized diet. Cali needs an experienced cat owner, who will learn her mannerisms, respect her boundaries, and love her when she wants to be loved. Cali would not do well around children or other cats. *Cali has a known bite history and her adopter would need to sign an acknowledgement of it.

Story
Mark is a two year old black beauty who arrived as a stray and is slowly learning the language of safety and trust. Gentle and social with his fellow rescue cats, he has a tranquil nature and a quietly generous heart. Mark is beginning to seek affection in small, brave ways and each step forward feels like a gift. He is seeking his forever person or family who has the same kind of gentle and loving heart that he does.

Story
Ralph appeared on our doorstep as a 7-week-old kitten in August 2019 so he is now 6 and 1/2 years old. I moved from our three-story house to an apartment in December 2020, and then into a smaller apartment in January 23. Now I am moving across the country into an even smaller place and cannot take him with me. He is a friendly cat, and will go up to new people to say hello. He has had a good relationship with a chihuahua but has not been living with a dog recently or with another cat. I think he would thrive with more space and more activity around him than I have been able to give him for the last several years. He can be grumpy, and the vet has prescribed kitty Prozac to smooth him out. I wonder whether that would be necessary in a larger space with more than one person. He is a great companion and I will miss him terribly.
