Story
Mow Wow, the cat, has been very well loved and cared for in our home since 2016 (her birth). We received her from a family friend’s cat that had kittens. Mow Wow is deaf but loves the vibration of drums, cuddles, and a window to look out of in the home. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats and have been on multiple meds to try to keep the cat, but I am getting worse.

Story
Desiree is a beautiful kitten who loves mischief. She has never met a kid or dog, but we think she could be ok with either (after a proper introduction), given her confident nature. Desiree will be under your feet looking for attention - please be steady on your feet!

Story
Coquito is really looking for a hero to help her enjoy her golden years. This gorgeous tortoiseshell lady was plucked off the sunny streets of Puerto Rico where she was happily living and was brought to Massachusetts and she is understandably pretty grumpy about it. Our cold, fast paced Northeast vibes just aren`t where it`s at for this Caribbean cocktail kitty. She had a hard time transitioning to life in her previous home which was pretty busy, so we`re thinking an adult only, low traffic household would be best for her. Coquito may do well with a cat friend in her new home who can show her the ropes and that interacting with humans is pretty great. She is currently in a foster home where she is shy but loves quiet one on one time with her person, and even makes biscuits and drools while she`s being pet. This senior kitty will be a bit of a project as she`s a bit unsure of all the change that`s been happening in her life, but whoever takes a chance on her is sure to be rewarded with lots of love. Coquito is in a foster home so if you`re interested in learning more, email cbourgoin@mspca.org If you think this cat could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed. Preparing your home for your cat ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a cat that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new cat the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources.
