Story
** They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together ** ++ Tia has medical needs. Please see health section below. ++   NAME: Tia & Tamera Mowry LOCATION: They are currently living in a foster home. A meeting can be scheduled with an approved application. DOB: 4/29/2021    GENDER: Females BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic Short & Medium Hair    LITTER BOX TRAINING: Good!     OTHER CATS: Good. The pair must be adopted together. DOGS: Good, they are young and playful and with carefully supervised introductions* and continued socialization will do well in a home with a cat-respectful dog. *Always take caution when introducing cats into a home with a dog. Motley Zoo is happy to provide our adopters with guidance and tips for safe introductions.   CHILDREN: Cat respectful children, 8 and older.     ADOPTION DONATION: $275 for the pair     HEALTH: Tia has pectus excavatum, which means her ribcage is smaller than normal. However, this has minimal impact on her and she is not symptomatic - she just gets tired a little faster than her sister after playing. They will be spayed, micro-chipped, flea treated, de-wormed, and current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. HISTORY: These sweet kittens were found outside and barely hanging on. They were both emaciated and very sick. They were taken to a local shelter, who reach out to us for help. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find them a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!  NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Tamera is a fluffy diva who enjoys her independence. She will seek out from pets from her preferred humans. Tia is a more outgoing kitty and enjoys playing with her sister.   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo does not have a traditional shelter location, but instead, utilizes private foster homes which care for the animals individually, in a home environment, until a "furever" home is found. Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment" Dog Daycare & Training Studio in Redmond, WA which is a day-use facility and does not hold kennels of adoptable animals. The dogs there are owned animals who come to the facility while their families are at work and school so they can play and socialize in a safe environment. We dub this service our "Year-round" fundraising program which helps us support our rescue animals and the $15,000/ month vet bills we incur. This Studio location does have an Adoptable Cat Lounge, where cats may live until adoption, which is the exception to any aforementioned rules. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application so we can get you started on the journey to finding a new, furry friend! Once you have been approved to adopt, then we can set up a meeting with the animal you have been matched with. For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org. Thank you for considering adopting a cat in need! Meow, The Motley Zoo CrewOctober 4, 2023, 12:11 am

They are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, flea treated, de-wormed, and current on vaccines. Glo-Balls (floofy boy with black fur) is insistent on getting attention and head rubs. He will chirp at you when you walk in and hop right up for snuggles. Sno-Balls is a shy girl who likes to nap in cozy spots. She does enjoy pets and play time as well once she settles in. Sno-Balls has a pie-bald Harlequin coat, giving her those unique black markings on her white coat. Glo-Balls is a sweet boy and takes the time to check in and snuggle with his more reserved counterpart. These two cuties will bring a lot of love and joy to their forever family!   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Story
NAME: Ocean Shores AGE/GENDER: 1 year old male BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic medium hair LITTER BOX: He is great with using the litter box. OTHER CATS: He would likely do well with another male cat. DOGS: He would be okay with a cat-respectful dog.   CHILDREN: He would do well with older children.   LOCATION: He is currently in a foster home. A meeting can be arranged with an approved adoption application. ADOPTION DONATION: $150 HEALTH: He is neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental and general care costs.  HISTORY: Ocean Shores came to us from a rescue in Texas. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Ocean Shores is a stunning guy with long black hair and golden eyes. He loves the company of the other cats in his foster home, so he'd like to be adopted into a home where he will have a kitty companion. He can take some time to settle into new places but once settled, he loves being pet. He is not a fan of being picked up. Ocean Shores loves treats (especially Churu and dehydrated chicken) and he will be your BFF if you have those on hand!   About Motley Zoo: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing or same day adoption. Due to the volunteer-run structure and decentralized/virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application. We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs Rock Star Treatment Services in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's $15,000/ mo vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew   October 4, 2023, 12:11 am

Story
Meet Bingo! Bingo was found with her five babies, fully exposed in the bright sun on one of our hottest days this year. She allowed herself to be rescued with her babies and has been the BEST mama. Now she and her babies are ready for their forever homes! We think Bingo is about 1 year old. Bingo is VERY chatty. She loves pets,  hates a dirty litter box, and will vocally complain until it's cleaned. Bingo will discuss anything and everything with you or anyone that will listen. This chatty girl will add some life to your home and you'll never be lacking in conversation! Bingo is at the rescue waiting for you to apply to adopt her today!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
