Story
We have had this cat for almost 11 years. She has lived with three kids, a cat, and a dog. She has never liked living with kids and other pets. It makes her very anxious. Therefore, scratches at furniture and meows alot to deal with it. She doesn't hide when she's anxious, which makes it difficult when children are over. They try to pet her, but she doesn't like it. She will hiss or almost nip at them. The homeowner is having some difficulties with anxiety and this pet is making that more difficult. She constantly meows and scratches at things. She often whines for wet food. The home owner is very busy with work, kids, cleaning, etc. This pet has put more stress on her. The cat came from Woodbury animal shelter. I think she would do best with a single person or a couple. I think someone who has a less busy lifestyle. Friendly, affectionate on her terms, uses litter box, doesn't like to be picked up, social on her terms.

Story
Veruca is a stunning tabico-and-white beauty with a personality just as vibrant as her coat. This medium-haired girl is the perfect mix of sweet and spunky—she’ll keep you smiling with her goofy antics one minute and then curl up nearby for some cozy downtime the next. She enjoys the simple joys in life: watching “cat TV” videos on YouTube, scaling her cat tree like a pro, and chasing toys with playful enthusiasm. When she’s ready to relax, you’ll often find her tucked into her favorite cat tree condo, keeping a watchful eye on her kingdom. Veruca is fully litter trained and has lovely house manners. She enjoys affection but prefers cuddles on her own terms, making her a great match for someone who appreciates a cat with a little independence. While she can be a bit sassy when meeting other cats, she does fine with slow introductions and would do best either as a solo pet or with one calm, low-key feline companion. She would thrive in a home with respectful, older kids who understand her boundaries. If you’re looking for a fun, confident companion with just the right amount of sass, Veruca may be your perfect match! Come see Veruca at the Chuck & Don’s in Uptown located at 3244 West Lake Street Minneapolis, MN 55416 Veruca is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Phoebe is a stunning long-haired gray girl with vivid green eyes and a quiet strength that tells the story of everything she’s overcome. Rescued from a hoarding situation with over 100 cats, she arrived in heartbreaking condition—underweight, matted, and in desperate need of care. Her name is a playful nod to her beginnings (yes, inspired by “Smelly Cat”), but Phoebe today is all about resilience, healing, and a personality that’s finally able to shine. With time, patience, and proper medical support, Phoebe has blossomed. Her coat is soft and full again, she’s at a healthy weight, and her quirky, expressive nature has come to life. She’s a chatty girl with a little sass—especially if meals are late or she feels overlooked—and she isn’t shy about sharing her opinions. Phoebe loves ear and butt scratches, enjoys the occasional belly rub (on her terms), and has a wonderful, rumbling purr. Phoebe does have ongoing medical needs. She requires a strict prescription diet and a daily medication she will likely need long-term. Both are manageable, and she does well with her routine, but she’ll need a committed adopter to keep her thriving. She would do best as the only cat in a calm home, likely without small children. Phoebe enjoys wand toys, catnip, and lounging beside you on the couch. While not quite a lap cat, she loves being close and will lean in for affection—making her an incredibly rewarding companion. Phoebe is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
UPDATE- Lulu has now been spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations** Lulu is a young kitty (approximately 1year old). She is super sweet but takes some time to warm up to strangers. She prefers kids and is pretty laid back. We took her and her brother in to help a moving family that could no longer keep them. She is up to date on her distemper shots and up to date on rabies. Because of the new vet costs, Lulu is no longer free. We are asking for a $150 rehoming fee, although the price is negotiable. It is preferred that she go to a family with children, although she would do good anywhere. She is litter box trained and does not have any behavioral issues.

Story
If you'd like to meet Baybeah, please visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. Walk-in hours are also available on select days of the week. www.ggohinc.com Baybeah came to us as an owner surrender as he was diagnosed and bravely battling Bile Duct Hepatic Lipidosis which his owner was not able to tend to. We are proud to say that given proper medical care, and with lots of love thrown in, Baybeah has completely recovered from this condition and is the picture of perfect health these days. No further complications are expected and he has been given a clean bill of health. He is ready to find his forever home and family! Baybeah has a bit of a spicy personality but means no harm. He can be sweet and loving and playful. He does on occasion get a little feisty as he has a dominant personality and likes things on his terms. All-in-all though, he is a great young cat worth of a home of his own. Due to his personality traits, we don't recommend him going into a home with very young children as they may not be able to read his signs when he's trying to say "that's enough". While Baybeah does get along fine with other cats, he typically likes to do his own thing in that regard. He would integrate well into most pet occupied homes, but just don't expect him to become snuggle buddies with them - he might, but he might not. If you've been on the look-out for a more independent, outgoing personality, and generally friend cat, Baybeah might just be exactly what you've been searching for. Stop in and meet him today - he'll be ready and waiting for you! Baybeah has a known DOB of 08/28/2024.
