To make an appointment to meet KimChee, please call our adoption desk at 415.506.6225. KimChee is truly a sweet and gentle girl. She has a range of little meows and loves Churu. She lived with her human dad for 7 years before coming to the shelter and now she has bonded with her foster dad, too! KimChee is affectionate and social with her foster dad, who lets her come to him. She seeks him out for petting, head bunting, and rubbing. She would love a quiet, calm adult home with a patient, shy-cat-whispering dad (and no other felines). As Kimchee becomes more comfortable, she becomes more affectionate. She is very shy at first and will need time to adjust to a new home and people, but with time, she will be a lovely companion. KimChee loves to hang out with her foster dad, and sometimes even lays next to him. This beautiful girl has blossomed at her foster home and is ready to blossom at her forever home! *** ADOPTION FEE PAID ***  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgSeptember 28, 2023, 4:06 am

Their foster says Sunbear is a goofball and Bobicat is very smart. These girls come up to their foster and purr with petting, but they can be shy at first. She is shy at first and will need time to adjust to a new place and people. However, once Heather lets you into her inner circle, she never forgets you. She may not be the life of the party, but she will deeply bond to her person. She needs a calm, quiet, adult home with an experienced kitty guardian who can read her signals, and who will give her time to trust.   Once Heather lets you in, she's overjoyed to be in your company. She is busy, curious, affectionate, and playful. She purrs non-stop and can't wait for you to sit down so she can climb into your lap. She loves to chase her mouse wand toy and will look into your eyes while chirping little meows. However, it will take time (and a quiet household) for Heather to become comfortable enough to be herself. Churu and wand toy play will be valuable tools in growing a relationship with Heather. A little patience at the start of the relationship will lead to a true lifelong, little friend.  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgSeptember 28, 2023, 4:06 am

She really loves to be petted and will purrr away. But, she needs a family that will let her settle in for several days until she's sure you are worthy of her love. Definitely start Maeve off in a very small room until she comes to you for attention. If given too much space, we guarantee you she will find the smallest place to hide. And, then, you'll only see her paws sticking out to play. Yes, once Maeve gets settled you'll have a beautiful and calm cat.  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgSeptember 28, 2023, 4:06 am

Simba is a 1.5-year-old male DSH cat. He is good with other cats, but we are unsure about dogs. Simba came to us as a surrender with his owner lost their home. This love bug would do well in a patient home with adults and older children.  September 26, 2023, 4:08 pm

Plum is a 2-year-old female DSH. She is good with other cats per her previous owner. She would do best in a patient home with adults or older children who will allow her time to open up. We are unsure if Plum is friendly with canines, but we can provide an adopter with the information to facilitate a proper introduction.September 26, 2023, 4:08 pm

Best Friend is estimated to be a 6-year-old male DSH. According to Best Friend's foster mom, he is not fond of other animals (at all), but he will win people over in no time. He loves to snuggle next to you, and he will beg for attention all day long! If you have a home with no other pets and need a new Best Friend, he is here waiting! September 26, 2023, 4:08 pm

Story
Wilma is estimated to be a 13 to 14-year-old DSH tabby. This little lady came to us as a stray. We realized that Wilma needs to be an only cat, and we are unsure how she would do with a canine. She has a medical waiver for hyperthyroidism, but it doesn't slow her down! If you are open to letting a senior join your home, come and meet Wilma! September 26, 2023, 4:08 pm
