About T.A.R.A. | Adopt | Volunteer | Donate Shadow is a sweet cat looking for his forever home after being abandoned by his previous owner. Shadow is a friendly, outgoing 8 year old male. He is shy at first, but once he trusts you he will warm up to you. He enjoys rubbing his chin on his fosters hand for affection.  He will probably do best as an only cat. Shadow is a diabetic kitty. Shadow is currently with a foster family, and they are doing a great job keeping  his diabetes under control by closely monitoring his diet, blood sugar and insulin levels daily. Shadow will need this daily care to keep him healthy and stable so he can enjoy many more years. The foster family can give you all the details needed to care for this sweet guy! Adoption Fee: $75 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption. Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed. Unfortunately, the resident senior cat doesn't like Sophia and Sophia now lives alone in the basement. This gorgeous dilute tortie was raised as a bottle baby in a home with kids and she absolutely adores them. The kids she grew up with try to spend time with her in the basement, but it's just not the same. She's sad, lonely, and misses human companionship. Sophia enjoys playing with toys, especially her feather wand, but that toy requires a human to play with her. She would love a home where she could be a lap kitty and watch you work on your computer, maybe even supervise a little. Sophia is a very good supervisor!
