Story
Aptly named for his ursine-looking face, Grizzly is a friendly, affectionate kitty who loves to hop up on laps for a little lovin'. His other favorite activity is playing with wand toys. 😺 He came from a home with another cat and a small dog, both of which he got along well with. Though we can never make guarantees, this indicates he may do well with another cat or a cat-friendly dog. When Grizzly was relinquished by his previous owner, he had bladder stones (a serious and painful condition), which were dissolved by feeding him a prescription urinary diet. He will need to be on this diet for life to ensure no new stones develop. Grizzly is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV negative.

Story
Meet Gigi! This sweet and spirited 4-year-old tabby is ready to find her forever home! Originally rescued as a kitten, Gigi has spent her first 4 years being loved and cared for — and now she’s looking for a new family to give her the same affection she’s always known. This beautiful girl is a perfect mix of shy and playful. She may be a little reserved at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. Gigi loves boxes, bags, and any toy she can bat around — she’s an energetic little lady who enjoys playtime and cozy naps alike. Gigi has done great with kids! She is currently living with two energetic Corgis who find cat chasing fun. :-( So she is looking for a home without dogs. She has lived with two other cats -- one was friendly and the other did not like her. Because she can be shy around loud noises and unfamiliar people, she’ll appreciate a patient adopter who can give her time to adjust and feel secure. Gigi is about 4 years old and weighs around 10 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She's always done great with the litter box except when the dogs have scared her away from the litter box -- and we can't blame her for that! If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate feline friend who will blossom in a peaceful home, Gigi might be your girl! Gigi is losing her home because a new human family member is allergic to kitties. Her two housemate cats have found their forever homes -- now it's Gigi's turn! If you're interested in Gigi, please email us at ffocaslindsey@gmail.com or contact us through Adoptapet. We'll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to keep this process as safe as possible for all involved -- especially Gigi!

Story
Jinxy is a 16-year-old beauty described by her current owner as a gentle, affectionate “all around great cat.” The family’s circumstances have changed, and this sweet senior girl needs to find a new home as soon as possible. Jinxy loves getting scritches on the head, sharing cuddles (on her terms), and occasionally sleeping on the pillow next to her person. Though she does love affection from her people, she also has an independent side. Don’t let her age fool you! Jinxy still occasionally brings out her inner kitten and bats around twist ties and bottle caps on the floor. :-) Jinxy will tolerate respectful dogs and cats and will let them sniff her when they approach non-aggressively. She is not a fan of fast-moving people and will run away if scared. This mellow girl has good litter box habits. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She has hyperthyroidism, not unusual in senior cats, and takes daily medication to keep her thyroid levels balanced. Jinxy is looking for a soft place to land and live out her golden years. Do you have a peaceful, cat-friendly home and a little extra love to give? If so, this may be the girl for you. We (FFOCAS) are helping Jinxy's family safely rehome her. Please get in touch via email (ffocasrea@gmail.com) or through Adoptapet. We’ll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to keep this process as safe as possible for all involved – especially Jinxy.

Story
Sweet Kitty Kitty is looking for her forever home! She is described by her current owner as a total lovebug. :-) She is talkative and quick to purr. She can be just a little shy at first but will warm up quickly and will be ready to just soak up all the affection you can offer her. Kitty Kitty loves fishing pole toys and catnip. And she hasn't seem bothered by the dog at her current home. She does enjoy some lap time too, so if you've always wanted a lap cat, here y'go! A little backstory: This absolutely gorgeous girl has been, for a couple of years, a neighborhood cat -- you know, the kind of fine feline whose history is unknown, who got caught up in a TNR program at one point (ear tipped!), and then found her way to the people in the neighborhood who care about all the creatures. Kind people started putting out a little kibble here, a bowl of fresh water there, maybe even ... a fancy heated cat house for winter. :-) Though once an outside cat, Kitty Kitty has been living in a garage (the family is not able to bring her into their home) -- she seems perfectly content to be inside and has been using the litter box like a champ. This loving girl has overcome a lot, including an injury that required a 12-week recovery period. With her recovery complete, Kitty Kitty is feeling great, so the people who've been helping her feel it's time for her to find a home of her own where she will finally be pampered as she deserves. We (FFOCAS) are helping Kitty Kitty's caretakers rehome her safely. Interested? Please reach out via email (ffocas4pets@gmail.com) or through Adoptapet. We will ask you to fill out a rehoming application so we can do our best to keep this process safe and be sure it's a good match.

Piggy – Shy, Loving, Sensitive, Big Indoor Kitty Tucks Himself Under Cozy Blankets. Piggy is a big, healthy, and incredibly sweet 9-year-old kitty. Sensitive to human emotions, on hard days he often appears over my shoulder. He loves food, lasers, ribbons, + cozy lounging after mealtime + a good scratching post. He'll even help wrap this holiday! He loves ribbon + laying on tissue paper. Piggy takes time to warm up and may hide at first, but once he trusts you, has a loud purr, loves chin scratches, and enjoys cuddles. He’s furry, loves being brushed (even chews the brush), and investigating. He loves to lay upside-down and makes us laugh all the time! Piggy comes with a starter set of wet and dry food, litter box, litter, litter liners and scroop, his is own song a custom portrait painting. See last photo (he was a kitten then)

Story
Leo is flat-out gorgeous, composed loving and sensitive! Adopted as a kitten right before my wedding and became a dear family member ever. Medical issues are causing rehoming for our sweet baby. Leo is very energetic at 11 years young, loves cat toys and a high perch, to oversee the household activities. Especially loves lasers and jumping - as a kitten we'd call him. Also called, "house bouncer" as he greets all who enter the home! A great hostess and impresses all guests! *QUICK indoor cat who will zip by to get through doors - so be careful! He prefers to smell people before they touch him and asks that they hold still while he checks them out and falls in love quickly. - they make a great pair, adopt 2 for the price of one. Free cat tower if you adopt both! Leo is litter box trained and very stoic in stature make him look very poised an elegant. He comes with a "starter kit" of cat food (wet and dry), litter box, litter liners and scoop, his own song and custom portrait!
