Story
Aptly named for his ursine-looking face, Grizzly is a friendly, affectionate kitty who loves to hop up on laps for a little lovin'. His other favorite activity is playing with wand toys. 😺 He came from a home with another cat and a small dog, both of which he got along well with. Though we can never make guarantees, this indicates he may do well with another cat or a cat-friendly dog. When Grizzly was relinquished by his previous owner, he had bladder stones (a serious and painful condition), which were dissolved by feeding him a prescription urinary diet. He will need to be on this diet for life to ensure no new stones develop. Grizzly is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV negative.

Story
Meet Gracie! This affectionate girl radiates calm and comfort. She has a very gentle, soothing presence and loves to quietly follow her person from room to room, always nearby but never demanding. She especially enjoys lying near your feet and relaxing by your side, happy just to be close and share quiet time together. This gorgeous calico has been a loving companion for many years, offering emotional warmth and steady companionship. She would be an ideal match for a quiet home with someone looking for a kitty who appreciates soft voices, gentle attention, and peaceful routines. Gracie does not have experience living with other cats or dogs, so we are not sure how she would do with a feline or canine companion. Gracie is about 11 years old and weighs around 11 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has great litter box habits. She is healthy other than a heart murmur, grade 3 of 6, and will be seen by a veterinary cardiologist prior to adoption. This sweet girl is losing her home only because an elderly family member with severe cat allergies has recently moved in. Her devoted, loving family has tried everything to reduce allergy symptoms but, as sometimes happens, nothing is helping. We (FFOCAS) are helping Gracie’s family find her forever home safely. Interested? Please get in touch via email (ffocas4pets@gmail.com) or through adoptapet. We’ll ask you to fill out a rehoming application so we can keep this process as safe as possible for all involved – especially Gracie!

Story
Meet Hope! This sweet one-year-old kitty truly lives up to her name. Found as a tiny sick, nearly blind kitten, she required a lot of care to get her healthy, and happily she is now thriving and ready for her forever home. Hope may have limited vision but makes up for it with sharp hearing and confidence, and she navigates her world with grace and curiosity, including having impeccable litterbox habits. She’s playful and affectionate and enjoys perching on shoulders like a queen surveying her kingdom. Hope is FIV+, but she loves the company of other animals, including other cats. She would thrive in a home with a cat-friendly dog or a cat who likes other cats. FIV+ cats can live safely with other cats as long as they get along. The virus is not spread by casual contact. Hope is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Story
Piggy – Shy, Loving, Sensitive, Big Indoor Kitty Tucks Himself Under Cozy Blankets. Piggy is a big, healthy, and incredibly sweet 9-year-old kitty. Sensitive to human emotions, on hard days he often appears over my shoulder. He loves food, lasers, ribbons, + cozy lounging after mealtime + a good scratching post. He'll even help wrap this holiday! He loves ribbon + laying on tissue paper. Piggy takes time to warm up and may hide at first, but once he trusts you, has a loud purr, loves chin scratches, and enjoys cuddles. He’s furry, loves being brushed (even chews the brush), and investigating. He loves to lay upside-down and makes us laugh all the time! Piggy comes with a starter set of wet and dry food, litter box, litter, litter liners and scroop, his is own song a custom portrait painting. See last photo (he was a kitten then)

Story
I found this sweet girl and unfortunately she is FIV positive. She needs a good home. She has a rabies shot from last year but I haven’t had time to get her fixed. She is sweet but can scratch kids if scared. I believe she was born May 2024. So she will be 2 soon.

Story
Izzy’s owner passed away, and she has since been in a loving foster home where she has worked on socialization skills. Now, Izzy is ready to find her forever home! She is 10 years old but still very playful and full of personality. Izzy loves toys and often gets the zoomies, thriving with daily playtime and rotating toys. She will do just about anything for a treat and enjoys gentle affection. Izzy likes to be near her person and will happily curl up on a lap, pillow, or cozy blanket, purring loudly as she relaxes beside you. She enjoys brushing but clearly communicates when she’s had enough, and she tolerates nail trims with the help of a lickable treat. Izzy does well at the vet, is easy to get into a carrier, and has received consistent vet care. She has clear boundaries and needs a patient, understanding home that respects her cues. Izzy is best as the only pet, where she can relax, feel secure, and be the center of attention. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
