We adopted Roscoe about 7 years ago when he was 6 months. We've had long term recurring behavioral issues that have just become too challenging with our family. Roscoe is high anxiety and doesn't like being around small children and our dog. He seems okay with our other male cat. He is okay with our oldest son who is 17 - but it's taken a long time to get there. Roscoe tends to run underneath our bed and hide quite frequently. Our main concern with Roscoe is his tendency to pee outside of the litter box. We have tried EVERYTHING you can possibly think of, with no change. Roscoe will poop in the litterbox but will constantly find an article of clothing, blanket, anything soft to pee on. I wonder if this is mainly bc of his stress with our children/dog. Roscoe is very sweet but I just think between our small kids and dog, he's just not happy in our home. Roscoe would do well as an only cat with no children. Somewhere calm and loving. We really want to find him a loving home.
