Story
Poppy and Clover are a bonded pair of cuties, ready to find their new family - together! These 2-year-olds are looking for a quiet home where they can settle in at their own pace and enjoy cozy naps and chin rubs. And lots of wrestle and chase time! They have a blast playing with each other. And once they are feeling comfortable, they enjoy playing and socializing with their humans, too. Clover especially enjoys lap time, pets and snuggles! Clover and Poppy are doing well with the dog in their foster home, though they prefer to have a wide perimeter and dogs should be mellow and cat savvy. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. They will likely do best in a quiet, predictable, cat-experienced home with just older kids and adults. If you`re ready to double the love in your life, send in an adoption application today! #bondedpair #playful

Story
Meet Emma Pearl! Emma is about 1 year old and was found starving and abused in a busy restaurant parking lot. There was a group of young teens that were kicking her around trying to get her to leave the premises. The restaurant owner said that she had been there for a couple of weeks begging and searching for food. A good Samaritan took her in because she couldn't let her continue to be abused. The kitty was nervous at first but quickly warmed up.Emma has a strong personality. She is very playful and affectionate. She is constantly poking at the other cats (she has 3 older cats in her foster home) even if she knows she's going to receive a grumpy reaction back. She is curious, a little feisty, and playful. She wants to be with nonstop company. It's almost like she has magical powers. Even if she's nowhere in sight, she can be at any place by your side within seconds. She wants to be with you so much so, that when she sees us leaving the house, she runs to the car and tries to get in with us! She is full of love and craves affection and attention. Because of her life on the streets, she can be found searching for food often. Do not, we repeat, do not leave food unattended. She will help herself. From her abuse, she is also dealing with trust issues on occasion. She can be snappy if she is petted in the wrong spot, so please be patient with her. To everyone’s surprise, Ms Pearl was pregnan! She was so thin at the time, no one could tell. She had her kittens within 4 weeks of her rescue. She delivered the kittens like a champ and was a great momma to her babies. The funny picture of her sitting on the couch was taken two days before she delivered. All of her babies have been adopted and now it’s time for Emma Pearl to get her own forever home!Emma Pearl has lots of love to give and is a terrific cat. Story
Meet Tommy, he's around 3 years old, and a heartthrob with cheeks so plump they're practically begging for a squeeze! Tommy is a warrior in his own right, rocking the FIV/FeLV positive badge with style. Tommy is a bit shy at first since he doesn't trust strangers (his parents taught him that I'm sure ). But don't let that fool you; he's a bundle of love and playfulness just waiting to charm his way into your heart. Tommy is here to defy the stigma surrounding FIV/FeLV, showcasing his robust health and radiating love as a testament to the many hopeful good years ahead of this resilient hunk of feline! Tommy loves playtime and still has a lot of his kitten personality left! His energy is contagious, and you'll find yourself eagerly joining in on the fun! Tommy's Kryptonite does happen to be vet trips which makes that aspect of him a bit more challenging, but who likes the vet anyways? If you're looking for an only kitty (or a friend for another FIV or FELV kitty) Tommy is the one you've been waiting for! Apply today to meet Tommy in his foster home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Don't let his chunky body fool you. Whiskey is a very active and agile boy who loves to explore. His favorite toys are kitty springs or anything he can chase around the living room floor. Whiskey also loves his scratching post. He has a very independent spirit but does like to sit on laps and snuggle up in bed. He loves to give leg hugs and will roll over for belly scratches. Whiskey has also been known to be somewhat playful with dogs that are not too aggressive with play. He is not the biggest fan of being picked up, but will let his owner do so. Whiskey is one of a kind and is the perfect combination of Wildman and lap cat.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Meet Dip! This super chill, easygoing guy is just under a year old. Found as a stray kitten by some good Samaritans, Dip was living happily as an outdoor cat until he needed to be neutered and treated for an ear infection. When we saw how SWEEEET he was, we knew he was definitely inside cat material! Dip quickly adapted to indoor life, loving snuggles in bed and using the litter box like a pro. Now at the rescue, he gets along wonderfully with the kittens and other cats. Dip just wants to snuggle and play, making him an easy addition to your family.
