Gamma may be named after the 3rd letter in the Greek alphabet, but she's definitely #1 in our eyes! This 1-year-old brown and white tabby is a total character. Though you have to work to earn her trust, once you do, you'll be rewarded with one cool cat. She's not comfortable being touched right now, but she will provide you with lots of entertainment and sweet looks while you work hard to earn her friendship. She loves to play with all types of toys, and especially enjoys batting around at wand toys and chasing down felt mice. When she's not playing or showing her toys who's boss, she can be found taking a cozy nap to rest and recharge. We don't know how Gamma is with other cats or dogs, so any introductions to resident pets should be done very slowly. She is looking for a patient, cat-experienced home with just adults. I rescued Sophia from SPOT in 2016. She is very dainty, weighing  only 6.5 lbs, and is approximately ten years old.  I recently adopted a new kitten but the two don't get along.  Sophia and my late cat were buds and for the most part inseparable, but Sophia isn't interested in playing with the new kitten.  Sophia gets along great with other cats if they don't constantly try to play with her. Sophia has a LOUD comforting purr, is sometimes talkative, and is quite precious and loving.  I don't want to rehome her, however, she needs to be an only cat or live with another animal that is not a kitten and or is more chill (less playful / overpowering). Sophia has a large personality and is quite endearing.   She eats quite slowly because she doesn't have any teeth, but she can eat either dry or wet food -- it just takes her a while to finish her meals. (I'm only including this fact so there's no surprise. I don't know the reason as she arrived from SPOT this way.)

Meet Annabelle! Ms Annabelle's owner passed away recently and she is now in need of her next furrever home! Annabelle is a bit shy and it took some time for her to come around and accept pets, but she is VERY sweet.... she just needs patience, love and attention. Meet Oliver! Oliver was a stray cat who has been coming to eat at his now foster's house with the other feral cats for about 2 or 3 years. He is a gorgeous gentle giant weighing 15 lbs. He loves attention from people and has never acted feral so we have always suspected he at one time had a home. He showed up at their house on Easter with a swollen face from an infected injury and has been recovering and soaking up all the love and attention since. He can be stubborn and will let you know immediately when he doesn't like something so an experienced cat home or potentially a home without very young children would be best. With that being said he loves people of all ages and has enjoyed attention from the 8 & 10 year olds in his foster home. We have not tested him with dogs just yet but will be introducing him to our cat friendly dog soon to see how he does so stay tuned!  He has the best purr, the sweetest meow, and a giant squishy face. He frequently can be found in his favorite spot, the bed, splooting and loves to be pet. He is still learning how to play with toys but has discovered catnip and he's a huge fan. Oliver was king of his little cat colony and not only co-existed with both male and female cats, but they observed him caring for others in his colony, particularly a partially blind senior male who he would guide to our house so he could eat multiple times a day. He has missed the social community he had and we are hoping that he can find that again in a new home. Unfortunately Oliver was diagnosed with FIV, but given his temperament and previous lifestyle, he could be a great addition in the right household with other social cats. In every other respect he is healthy and could live a full life. Oliver stole our hearts with his beautiful green eyes and sweet, affectionate personality and we know his adventures as a loved indoor kitty are just beginning. Our sweet kitty is about 7 years old and still playful and affectionate . She is very easy to have around and loves to be around people but also loves her independence (as most cats do!). We also have a golden retriever so she’s very used to being around dogs as we also dog sit for friends often. We are moving and need to find her a new loving home.
