Introducing Kai, a 7 year old female Dutch shepherd. She has lived a wonderful life and has been well cared for and socialized but her owner has come into hard times and has to make the incredibly hard decision to find her a new home. He loves her so much and knows she deserves the world that he can’t provide. Please no rude comments, he is heartbroken. Kai is an incredibly intelligent dog. She absolutely adores people. She is 7 years old but she is still ready for adventures. Kai will need a family that will provide daily exercise and then a couch to sleep on! Kai is good with other dogs, especially male dogs. She has also been around cats and was great with them. Kai has been professionally trained and is housetrained. Kai is located in Huntsville AL. You won't find a more handsome, intelligent or silly boy than Sidney. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs 84 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show some barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he shows absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney, email cox_ann@bellsouth.net for an application
