Artemis is the perfect blend of active and affectionate. As a retriever at heart, he absolutely loves his ball and would happily spend hours playing fetch. Because he enjoys stretching his legs and getting his daily exercise, he would really benefit from a fully fenced yard. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy outside, Artemis settles beautifully indoors and is content to relax by your side.
He's a wonderful companion in every sense of the word. Artemis is house-trained, crate-trained, rides great in the car, and walks gently on leash. He's not a vocal dog, isn't prone to jumping on people, and has a calm, easygoing presence in the home.
What Artemis loves most, though, is being close to his humans. He's a true snuggle bug who will happily curl up next to you on the couch and soak up all the affection you have to offer. His favorite place is wherever you are.
Artemis would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy all the love and attention for himself.
