Est. DOB: 04/15/2026 Adoption fee: $600 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Meet Tugzy, Tuhani & Tula! Three adorable little ladies are ready to find the loving families they've been waiting for! Tugzy, Tuhani, and Tula are Terrier/Pug mix puppies who recently made the journey from an overcrowded shelter in Texas to Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue, where they're getting a second chance at the happy lives they deserve. These sweet girls are everything you love about puppies—playful, curious, affectionate, and always ready for their next adventure. Whether they're chasing toys, wrestling with each other, or curling up for a nap after playtime, they make every day a little brighter. Each puppy has her own unique personality, but they all share a love of people, plenty of puppy energy, and a desire to be part of a family. As with any young puppy, they'll need continued training, patience, and socialization to help them grow into wonderful adult dogs. If you're ready to add laughter, love, and lots of puppy kisses to your home, Tugzy, Tuhani, or Tula would love to meet you. They made a long trip from Texas in hopes of finding forever homes—could one of them be yours? Apply today! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSAR/Dog Disclaimer: Please note that dogs in a rescue environment may behave differently than they would in a home setting. While we do our best to assess each dogs habits and behaviors, we cannot guarantee that any dog is fully potty trained or will not have accidents after adoption. Changes in environment, routine, stress levels, and transition into a new home can all impact a dogs house-training habits. Patience, consistency, and continued training may be needed as the dog adjusts to their new home. Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. Story
Once upon a time, there was a little pug mix named Beans. Beans wasn’t always a rescue dog. For a while, he had to survive on his own. He wandered the streets, looking for food, a warm place to sleep, and someone who might notice him. No one knew where he had come from or how long he had been a stray. Then, one day, someone finally found Beans. He was brought to a rescue where he was given something he had been missing for a long time: safety. He got a cozy bed, yummy meals, gentle care, and lots of love. Slowly, Beans began to understand that people could be kind. Beans is a little dog with a big heart. He loves being around people and has a funny, lovable personality. His adorable pug face and sweet eyes make it hard not to smile when he looks up at you. But there was still one thing Beans was waiting for. A family of his very own. Every day, Beans hoped that someone would walk through the rescue door and say, “That’s our dog.” He dreamed of a forever home with a soft bed, a warm blanket, walks to sniff and explore, and a family who would never give up on him. Most of all, he dreamed of having someone to love and someone who would love him back. Beans has already been through the hardest part of his journey. Now he just needs his happy ending. Maybe that ending is with you. Because somewhere out there is a family looking for a sweet pug mix named Beans—and Beans is waiting to find them. Beans is ready for his forever family. ❤️🐾

Story
Henry’s Second Chance Henry never understood how he ended up at the shelter. One day, he had a home. The next, he found himself behind a kennel door, surrounded by unfamiliar sounds and faces. His tail wagged whenever someone walked by, hoping—just hoping—that they might be the person who came to take him home. But the days passed, and Henry’s name eventually landed on the shelter’s dreaded death-row list. Then, just when his story seemed like it was about to end, a rescue stepped in. They saw something in Henry that others had overlooked. They saw a sweet dog with a gentle heart, hopeful eyes, and so much love left to give. They pulled him from the shelter and gave him the one thing he needed most: a second chance. Now Henry is safe. He has a warm place to sleep, people who care about him, and the freedom to wag his tail again. But there’s still one thing missing. A forever home. Henry isn’t asking for much. He just wants someone who will choose him, love him, and never give up on him again. Someone who will show him that being abandoned was not the end of his story—it was simply the beginning of a new one. Somewhere out there is Henry’s person. And until they find each other, Henry will keep waiting, with his heart full of hope and his tail ready to wag. Henry survived. Now he just needs someone to come finish his happily ever after. ❤️🐾

Story
Meet Birdie! Birdie is a sweet, active senior girl who is looking for either a foster or forever home. Were still working through a couple of medical items with her. She has an eye issue were treating, and she is scheduled for a spay and dental in a few weeks once she puts on a little more weight. Dont let her age fool youBirdie still loves to play, go for walks, and be part of the action. She gets along wonderfully with people of all ages and other dogs. When shes not out exploring, shes more than happy to curl up on the couch and watch TV with you. One of our favorite things about Birdie? Shes great about letting us know when she needs to go potty. Shell walk right to the door and do the cutest little spin to let you know its time to go out. Birdie is truly the total package: sweet, social, active, and full of love!

Story
Nelson is a great dog, he just does not do well with other dogs/animals. He is fine with our other dog, but only because he was raised with him from a puppy. He does get excited around new people but overall a great dog at home. Loves his people and loves to snuggle. He is great on a leash and house trained. Does not mind going in the kennel when we leave him at home. He would do best with a fully fenced backyard.
