Meet Klein💚 💙 Klein Update Account: @klein__55 1️⃣ Health Status * Spayed: Yes. * Other: Microchipped, and heartworm negative 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Klein was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Jeongeup along with four siblings when they were puppies. After spending a year at the Jeongeup Shelter, they were placed on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, all four siblings, including Klein, were rescued just in time. 3️⃣ Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with People: Is shy but simultaneously curious and affectionate. Her social skills have improved significantly. Now, tries to approach strangers first to sniff them! While she is warmer toward women, she remains cautious around adult men and may hide behind her guardian. Greets her family with a wagging tail and happy whimpers and loves sleeping near her female guardian. Showed little interest in young children when visiting dog cafes. * Interaction with Dogs: A true gentle soul. Approaches other dogs calmly with a wagging tail. Is more proactive and playful with close "dog friends," showing a desire to interact and play. * Interaction with Cats: Her excitement level regarding cats has decreased, but she may still try to chase them during walks. Sudden leash pulling may occur, so handlers should stay alert. * Separation Anxiety: It has improved, but she still shows symptoms (chewing plants, howling, barking) if the guardian’s outing is irregular. Even with a routine schedule, she may open doors inside the house or howl if she feels anxious. * Potty Training: Previously refused to go indoors but has recently started. If pads are laid out, she is about 90% successful. However, she strongly prefers outdoors and likes to mark during walks. * Grooming & Care: Tolerates baths and brushing well, even if she doesn't "love" them. Is still wary of the hairdryer and might try to run away. Nail clipping is a bit scarier for her, so it currently requires two people (one to hold, one to clip). Toothbrushing is being introduced slowly using soft gauze and finger brushes. * Walking Habits: Can be a "puller" when she sees a cat. While she sniffs stranger dogs, she doesn't linger and follows the guardian immediately when asked. As her confidence grows, she has become a bit stubborn—sitting or lying down to stare at the guardian when she wants to go a specific way. Her excitement levels usually drop after she relieves herself. * Motion Sickness: No car sickness. However, she is frightened by neon signs or bright lights at night and prefers to be held. * Biting/Aggression: None. Shows zero resource guarding or defensive/territorial aggression. * Barking: May howl or bark after the guardian leaves. Also lets out short, happy whimpers when the guardian returns or comes out of a room. * Likes: Treats and walks! Loves rolling in the grass. Enjoys chewing on hard objects (charging cables, plastic hangers, pencils, shoes) and loves lounging on the sofa when alone. Prefers warmth, so she enjoys wearing clothes and sleeps more soundly in them. * Dislikes: Strangers approaching suddenly, loud noises, and bright neon lights at night. Dislikes sitting on cold floors and is wary of cramped, dark spaces like crates or kennels. * Personality: Is a dog who is fearful of people but simultaneously leans on them deeply for support. Needs a patient family who can build trust over time. Thrives in a quiet, comfortable environment and is slowly learning to express her personality more every day.

Story
Grizzly has been with us since he was nine months old and is a loving, expressive French Bulldog with very human-like emotions. He’s very in tune with people and can sense when someone is happy, nervous, or upset. He’s active, playful, and obsessed with balls, and has been amazing with our toddler, allowing full interaction without any issues. We are rehoming him due to behavioral challenges. He has occasionally nipped at my wife and may bark at unfamiliar people like contractors. We believe this comes from fear and anxiety, not aggression, especially when he feels threatened or corrected. Grizzly needs an experienced adopter who understands fearful dogs and is willing to train him properly. He is on phenobarbital for seizures, which are well controlled (no episodes in 6–8 months).

Story
Meet🖤 Finn the Frenchie! Finn wakes up every day ready to play, ready to love, ready to show off his impressive fetch skills — with that perfectly crooked Frenchie grin that melts you on the spot. He’s silly. He’s proud of himself and curious about everything. And when he zooms around the yard, you can’t help but smile right along with him. Finn is happy, he sees people to adore. He sees a world that is absolutely meant for him. Finn's body is a little unique — like many French Bulldogs and loving Finn means being thoughtful about his lifestyle so he can stay feeling good as he grows. Finn was born with a spinal deformity that hasn't slowed him down yet...long term that simply means: 🖤 monitored play 🖤 calm walks and easy trails 🖤 keeping him cool in warm weather 🖤 supporting his body as it ages Which is true of all Frenchies! Finn is thriving. He fetches, cuddles, plays, and lives a full, happy little Frenchie life. His overall health is great! He’s neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to bring his enormous heart into the home that’s meant for him.

Story
Midora waited. While her sister was chosen and walked out of the shelter, Midora stayed behind overlooked, as the days turned into weeks. Six long weeks in a shelter, simply for not being picked. And then, her time ran out. Midora was placed on the euthanasia list not because she did anything wrong, but because she had been there too long. But Midoras story didnt end there. Church of Pug stepped in and said yes, giving this beautiful French Bulldog the second chance she had been quietly waiting for. Now safe in foster care, her true personality is finally shining through. Midora has that classic Frenchie playful energy, but shes just as happy curling up on the sofa to watch a game of basketball. With her adorable one ear that flips down, she has a look thats as unique as her story. After being left behind once, Midora deserves a home that will choose her every single day a place where shell never have to wonder if shes forgotten again. She waited once. She shouldnt have to wait again.

Story
I was left abandoned at the shelter from a very questionable background. Unable to hold in any food my timeline was cut short at the shelter. Thank goodness Church of Pug said yes to giving me a chance. My foster mom took me to this dog doctor who did not think I had much time left. No one could explain what was happening with me. Luckily my foster mom and the dogtor did not give up on trying to find out what was causing me to be so sick. All I knew ... I was SO HUNGRY, but no matter how much I ate I could not gain weight, and my body was breaking down. Luckily, a special test gave everyone the answer ... I have something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which I guess means my pancreas does not work so well UNLESS I have these awesome enzymes that help me absorb nutrients AND I am FINALLY feeling full and getting healthy and strong. Even with all of these things I can proudly say I am completely potty trained. No accidents for me. I like my space ... and I gravitate to the cat vs. the other dogs in the house. I sleep through the night and when I want to be pet or cuddle, I put up my paw and gently grab your hand or arm. I am still unsure about people ... I don't like to be picked up ... so when I want on the couch I growl when I go from floor to next to you ... but then I stop. If I am not sure what you are doing or your intentions, I will growl. It's my way to say I'm uncomfortable but I would never hurt anyone, I swear. I am really trying to behave like a dog who is loved, vs a dog who was hurt. I believe I can learn to trust again I just hope my forever home has the patience to help me get to that happy place. For my comfort a home with kids and wild hyper pups would not suit me. I prefer the calmer of the pack and the kitty cat. I know I am ready to find my forever home now that I'm all healthy and strong. Is that potentially you?
