Story
Meet Klein💚 Klein was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Jeongeup as a young puppy, along with her four siblings. The group was placed in Jeongeup Shelter, where they lived for about a year before being put on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, ADogs stepped in and rescued Klein and her siblings just in time. • With People: Klein is a gentle and sweet-natured dog, but she is a bit shy around new people. She doesn’t immediately approach strangers but wears an adorable smile and warms up over time. If you offer her a treat, she will quickly gain confidence and even show her affectionate side! • With Dogs: She gets along well with other dogs and had a great relationship with her siblings. At the shelter, she socializes easily and does well in group settings. • With Cats: She has never been introduced to cats, so her reaction is unknown. • Separation Anxiety: Since she currently lives in a shelter, it’s unclear if she experiences separation anxiety. She may need some training and adjustment when transitioning to a home. • Potty Training: She is used to outdoor potty training at the shelter and may need guidance when transitioning to an indoor environment. • Grooming & Handling: Klein is very easygoing and allows bathing, drying, and nail trimming without fuss! • Walking & Socialization: She loves going on walks and has been trained well at school, so she doesn’t pull on the leash. She enjoys exploring and is a polite walking companion. • Car Rides: She does not experience motion sickness and rests calmly in the car during travel.

Story
Meet Brown🧡 Brown was rescued from a dog meat farm in Jeongeup along with his four littermates when he was just a puppy. After spending a year at the Jeongeup Shelter, he was put on the euthanasia list, but ADogs intervened just in time and rescued the siblings. Brown now lives peacefully with his rescued friends. • With People: Brown has a gentle and cautious personality. He may be a bit shy at first, but he’s also curious—he’ll approach new visitors slowly, especially if they have treats. With shelter staff and familiar people, he shows sweet affection, even offering kisses. • With Dogs: He prefers to keep to himself and doesn’t actively seek out other dogs, but he coexists peacefully with them. He’s an independent spirit who enjoys his alone time. • With Cats: He gets very excited when he sees cats, so it’s best to avoid interactions or walks near cats. • Separation Anxiety: Unknown due to group living at the shelter. • Potty Training: He currently goes only outdoors for potty. • Grooming & Handling: He tolerates baths calmly and accepts drying, though he freezes up a little from fear. He doesn’t enjoy nail clipping or brushing, but he’s very non-aggressive and cooperative with short sessions. • Walking & Leash Training: A perfect walker! He walks in sync without pulling and seems to truly enjoy his walks. • Car Rides: He rides comfortably in the car and shows no signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 • Brown seems more comfortable wearing a collar than a harness. • He has coprophagia (stool eating), so it’s important to clean up right after potty. This behavior often improves with training in a home environment.

A BIG Personality seeking her own Social Media ! Cynthia Petunia spends all day checking out what is happening on her 'block' by watching out the windows. She has spent most of her life as a spoiled pup, going on car rides and getting pup cups, then her family said - she was being a bully to the other dogs. She is fostered with several dogs of various sizes and both boys/girls. She isn't afraid to be pushy, growl or yip to get her way, but is easily managed by her foster mom verbally correcting her. 'Tunia also likes to play the victim - she needs to be lifted on to the couch, due to being a shortie. The other dogs steal her toys, she yips. When her foster family is not able to immediately address her complaints, she jumps on the couch and snatches back her rope toy. Clearly a smart, sassy bulldog - she just needs boundaries, parenting and mostly tough love. She is 5 years old and a brindle purebred French Bulldog with a white belly. Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped, tested Heartworm Negative and on prevention - she is ready to travel to spend 2025 with her forever family. Story
Meet Trooper, a 1 year old French Bulldog with a spirit as strong as his name! Born with a cleft palate, Trooper's journey started a little differently, but that hasnt slowed him down one bit. Surrendered to Church of Pug when he was just 2 weeks old. Hes had 2 surgeries to correct his condition & is all healed up & ready for a forever home! Trooper isn't like a regular dog, he has a few quirks. Since he was born with a significant palate defect, he drinks water out of a "Lixit" waterbottle & he is still working on eating on his own, so he will need an open food bowl as it takes him much longer to eat. Ensuring Trooper eats well will be very important part in his future! He does a good job at going potty outside (he would prefer a yard), but he is a frequent pottier- so a potty pad will be helpful. Since Trooper had to be "fussed" with so much over his palate, he can get a little grouchy - when there are things he doesn't want to do. Since he is gaining more confidence in eating, training him with treats will help in sorting out some of his Frenchie "bully" behaviors....But he is also a sensitive guy. He loves to come lay right on top of his humans for a snuggle and he can get a little overwhelmed if dogs tend to gang up on him. Trooper loves to go on walks & does great on a leash. We would love to find him a home that partakes in regular outings, as that will help immensely in gaining his exposure to the world & to create a great mental stimulation that will help with training & eliminating some of his frustrated behaviors. Trooper does well with other dogs, but if adopted into a home with other dogs, they will need to be easy going & can put up with "little brother" energy. Since Trooper can be a little grouchy on the occasion, he would do best in a home that has older children that understand the importance of respecting space. Trooper is so special. He is hoping to find his forever home that is willing to work with him & show him the unwavering love he deserves.

Story
I still have a way to go but I wanted to share a bit about me. I was left abandoned at the shelter from a very questionable background. Unable to hold in any food my timeline was cut short at the shelter. Thank goodness Church of Pug said yes to giving me a chance. My foster mom took me to this dog doctor who did not think I had much time left. No one could explain what was happening with me. Luckily my foster mom and the dogtor did not give up on trying to find out what was causing me to be so sick. All I knew ... I was SO HUNGRY, but no matter how much I ate I could not gain weight, and my body was breaking down. Luckily, a special test gave everyone the answer ... I have something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which I guess means my pancreas does not work so well UNLESS I have these awesome enzymes that help me absorb nutrients AND I am FINALLY feeling full and getting healthy and strong. Even with all of these things I can proudly say I am completely potty trained. No accidents for me. I like my space ... and I gravitate to the cat vs. the other dogs in the house. I sleep through the night and when I want to be pet or cuddle, I put up my paw and gently grab your hand or arm. I am still unsure about people ... I don't like to be picked up ... so when I want on the couch I growl when I go from floor to next to you ... but then I stop. If I am not sure what you are doing or your intentions, I will growl. It's my way to say I'm uncomfortable but I would never hurt anyone, I swear. I am really trying to behave like a dog who is loved, vs a dog who was hurt. I believe I can learn to trust again I just hope my forever home has the patience to help me get to that happy place. For my comfort a home with kids and wild hyper pups would not suit me. I prefer the calmer of the pack and the kitty cat. I know I am ready to find my forever home now that I'm all healthy and strong. Is that potentially you?

Story
Hi, I'm Ms Piggles. I'm single and looking to find my forever home with no other dogs.. I might be 8 years old but I'm no senior. I'm not a push puppy. I'm mature, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. So there. I am lady with Frenchitude so I'm definitely be the alpha and need to be an only dog girl. I don't need a lot of hoopla, whats is mine is mine. MY food, MY toy, MY person are things I can try to protect, so no small kids as well. Its ok if we have company, I don't mind eating in the other room or even my crate. If you want to take short walks, I'm good with that, not really my thing. I am not a girl that wants to be fussed over unnecessarily so I won't be wearing any sweaters if I'm not in the mood. Rumors I hear the Hoomans say is that 'I'm an awesome lap dog and loves to snuggle'. Waiting for you ;) That being said, I just need a strong owner that's going to tell me how I'm going to behave.

These pups are in Renton, Washington too!

Beautiful loving Lily was in an extremely high kill shelter in CA. She was dropped off by a mother & daughter who found her wandering around a large park. They apparently took Liv home & she was mouthy with the child while the child was randomly patting her is what the shelter was informed off by the mother. If that was not bad enough, a 72 hour notice was sent out for Lily’s life, she had 72 hours for a rescue to come save this sweet girl or her life was going to end because she had now been labeled a biter & had a bite history. Her world had changed so much & no one was coming to save her. We were not going to let anything further happen to her. When we got her out of the shelter we could clearly see she was not well at all. We got her straight to the vets & it was discovered immediately she was in very bad shape with pneumonia. This little lady had already been through so much at a very young age & had the fight of her life ahead of her. Lily was bought back to WA state from CA after she was well where she can’t wait to find her new forever home who won’t let her down. Beautiful Lily had a heinous start to life as we know already. Having being taken to the kill shelter by the people who found her. She was sitting on death row with pneumonia & with no one coming for her. It’s just not right nor fair. We have found her to be the biggest sweetheart with us. She has done well at our vets when getting all of her treatments considering what she has been through. She likes both men & woman & just wants you to love her. One of our ladies said she is one of the easiest & calmest rescues she has experienced. This little lady is such a love for everything she has been through. She does want all the attention when there are other dogs around her foster mum said & did get jealous in her foster home in CA. Here in WA she has not shown signs of jealousy. She was slow at eating at first because of the pneumonia & now her appetite is back & she loves to eat. Lily does walk well on her leash but could still need work on her leash. She adores being held & getting love. She does so good with getting her baths. You had also better make room in your bed for Lily as she wants to sleep in bed with you. Lily does ride beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will just sit in the car & take it all in. We are looking for a forever home for Lily where someone is home during the day or they can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Lily does enjoy playing in the backyard so she will require a fully fenced secure backyard & she does enjoy the company of other dogs but her foster mum said she believes she should be the only dog in the home as long as someone is there with her all the time. Lily is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. UPDATE: Lily was adopted & her mother can no longer care for her as she became ill & the family does not want Lily so a new loving home has to be found for this sweetheart. In her home she was fed kibble unfortunately & has become very overweight & needs to lose at least 3 - 4 lbs. We always fed Lily a clean diet of raw proteins, fruits, vegetables & supplements & was given bully sticks & collagen sticks. To get her back to a healthy weight we recommend feeding Lily a clean diet again & when she gets adopted she will go home with clean food. Lily was previously called Liv but now Lily. Her mother loved Lily very much & we are looking for a forever home for Lily for life. Lily has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she was in a loving foster home with other dogs. But Lily can get very temperamental when she wants to be with some dogs & did in her foster so we are looking for a forever home where she is the only dog & be treated like a queen. Lily is roughly 4 years old, & now 20.6 lbs, perhaps a Boston terrier, what she is mixed with we are not sure? She was spayed by us. She was treated for pneumonia twice, with injections & oral medications, she is had a dental, scale & polish, along with dental x-rays, microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies, dewormed several times & is heart worm negative. Once these shots expire we will only redo the rabies as we do not over vaccinate dogs & shorten their lives. We have Lily booked in for another dental before she will be adopted. We have spent far more on rescuing Lily & with all of her medical care, treating her for pneumonia, we are getting her a dental with a scale & polish, dental x-rays, spaying her by laser, along with shots, microchipped, medications, transport fees etc than her fee covers. Then another dental & any extractions that maybe needed. Lily has been around cats since being in the rescue in her previous foster home in CA but just because she did well with that cat does not mean she mean she will do well with all cats. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children at all & will not adopt to a home with Lily with small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Lily was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Lily & her friends they will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Lily potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying & take them to one class only. Lily has been through many traumas in her short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for her care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lily & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Lily who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this little lady & understands the many traumas she has endured & are patient with her. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Lily has an adoption fee of $1250 & are ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what they have been through.
