Story
Meet Willow! Willow is a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. Her father is a German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is a beautiful girl that needs to be rehomed. She still has puppy ways and is in need of training. She currently plays around kids who range in age from 4-10 years, but she needs supervision as she is a big girl and can knock over small kids. Training is a must when she finds her new home. She was born on October 19, 2022. She is crate trained, housetrained, and a quick learner. She has a lot of energy since she is still a puppy, but she can also relax indoors. She will be spayed before going to her forever home and will be fully vaccinated then, too. She is a sweet girl who just needs the right forever home. CHARACTERISTICS Friendly, Affectionate, Playful, Smart, Curious, Independent, Loves kisses. To meet Willow, contact Nicole at nestrada109@gmail.com or call or text (760) 402-8088. Willow is being fostered in the Escondido area of San Diego County.

Story
How this pet arrived: Zoodle was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on March 7, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:This is Zoodle! Zoodle is here to melt the hearts of all who see her! She started off here as a shy lady but she blossomed quickly into a playful, fun, loving, loyal girl who really just wants to be with people. Zoodle may not be into loud crowds, but she is totally down for some camping and hikes with her family. Zoodle was brought in after a misunderstanding with some birds so she should not be living with other small animals (small livestock included) in her new home. Zoodle has made some doggy friends while she has been at the shelter, and she wouldn't mind having a dog friend at home, as long as they aren't too rowdy (a girl needs her beauty rest). Get ready for some zoomies and playful antics with this adorable canine, who delights in "sniffaris" and frolicking with her favorite toys! If you're looking for a gentle and fun soul to brighten your days, Zoodle might just be the perfect match for you! Bring the whole family in to say hello! We dare you to meet her and not fall in love. Story
How this pet arrived:License was brought in by the Humane Law Enforcement Team on April 23, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Gorgeous girl License is searching for a patient and understanding new home. A treat-motivated enthusiast of "sniffaris," she thrives on sensory exploration and delights in the simple joys of life. She can be a bit fearful of new people and will need a home who will give her time to adjust. Forging a bond with License will require patience; be prepared to build trust at her pace. (Leveraging treats and playtime will help build a connection with her faster!) If you're prepared to open your heart and home to License, come meet her with a leash and collar in hand - you may just bring home your new best friend! Story
How this pet arrived: Slim Shady was brought in by his previous owner on May 28, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Slim Shady, a smart and energetic guy with plenty of love to give. Active and adventurous, he's the perfect outdoor adventure buddy! Slim is one smart cookie, having mastered "sit" and "shake". He also loves to play a game of fetch (yes, he brings the ball back) and walks like a dream on leash! Slim Shady will need to be the only dog in the home as he is selective with other dogs, so no dog parks or beaches for him. He would do best with a family that can spend most of their time with him, as he isn't the biggest fan of being left home alone. Think Slim might be the one for you? Bring a leash, collar, and take Slim Shady home today! Dog Reactive Dog:  This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Story
How this pet arrived: Silo was brought in by his previous owner on June 2, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Silo! This beautiful boy is looking for a new home. Silo is a bit shy at first and needs some time to open up, but once he does, you'll see his fun-loving personality! This boy is VERY smart and knows a ton of commands, including "down", "sit", "stay", "leave it", "roll over", and "high five"! He is also potty trained (with a consistent routine) and crate trained! Silo has a lot of energy and can sometimes struggle with impulsivity and reactivity towards other dogs, so he will thrive with continued positive training to help him be his best self! Silo would do best in a home without young kids and in a low dog traffic area that doesn't share a fence line with other dogs. If you do have another canine in the home, make sure to bring them along to meet Silo so that we can ensure they mesh well! To ensure the best fit, all household members must be present to speak with our trainers prior to adoption. If you're ready to give Silo the care he needs, he could be the perfect addition to your family!Dog Reactive Dog:  This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video.Excitable Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video.Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video. Scylla can be shy at first and takes some time to warm up to new people, so she would thrive in a calm and stable home without a lot of foot traffic. She needs a household with children over the age of 6 and would do best in an environment where her exposure to unknown dogs is limited, as she can sometimes be reactive. Once she opens up, Scylla is incredibly sweet and loves being petted. If you have a quiet home and the patience to let her come out of her shell, Scylla will reward you with endless loyalty.
