Meet Ajax! 🐾 Looking for a new best friend who is the perfect blend of brains and brawn? Say hello to Ajax! This handsome young man has been hand-raised in our program and is officially ready to find his forever family. At 4.5 months old and already a sturdy 35 lbs, and is expected to grow to 55-65 lbs. He is very loyal to his people but is working on boundaries and can be timid around new people. Why You’ll Love Him: • Social Butterfly: Ajax is a total team player. He currently lives with foster siblings and absolutely loves to run, wrestle, and play the day away. • The "A" Student: He is a super smart young guy who catches on quickly. He’s at that prime age where he’s a total sponge for learning! • Active & Fun: Whether it’s zoomies in the yard or exploring new sights, Ajax is up for it. Ajax’s Wishlist: Because he’s growing fast and has a sharp mind, Ajax would thrive with a family committed to: • Continued Puppy Training: He has all the potential in the world and just needs a leader to show him the ropes. • Ongoing Socialization: He wants to meet new friends (human and canine!) as he continues to find his confidence in the big world. Ajax is a special pup who has been raised with love, and he’s more than ready to pass that love on to you. Ready to add Ajax to your crew?

Story
Meet Harrison! We affectionately refer to him as "Happy Harry" because of the immense joy he radiates. This spirited boy thrives on playtime, whether it’s with the larger dogs or small ones, and he always loves to be right at the center of the action. He is incredibly affectionate and full of excitement, which means he loves to shower his humans with plenty of enthusiastic kisses when he's happy! Harry craves recognition and thrives on praise, always trying his best to figure out exactly what will make you smile. He is already 90% house-trained, sleeps beautifully in his crate at night, and is currently working on mastering his leash manners. His Perfect Match 💙 While he may not be quite as assertive as his siblings when it comes to claiming prime couch real estate, Harry is a total snuggle bug who deeply relishes his moments of closeness. His major love for food, combined with his eager-to-please attitude, means training him will be an incredibly rewarding experience. Currently, his less demanding nature means he tends to focus a lot of his attention on the other dogs, but we know that his true devotion to his humans will take center stage the moment he gets the chance to shine as an individual. Apply to adopt or if you’d like to meet him!

Story
**Courtesy Post** Meet Honey, the stunning and spirited girl who's finally ready to find the forever home she deserves! This two-year-old pittie, husky, and malinois mix has a story that will melt your heart — she was found wandering the streets of Tijuana while pregnant, walking through traffic and asking strangers for belly rubs. Despite everything she had been through, she never lost her trust or her love for people. A good samaritan brought her to safety, and two weeks later she gave birth to eleven puppies. Now that her babies are all grown, it's Honey's turn. Honey is the best of both worlds — she's got an adventurous side that loves a good hike, run, or outdoor excursion, but she's equally happy to wind down and just be close to her people. With her pittie heart, husky spirit, and malinois smarts, she does best with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and can give her some daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep that bright mind of hers happy. A tired Honey is a happy Honey! And here's what makes her so special: she can do it all. She's gentle with kids of all ages, walks beautifully on a leash, is fully potty trained, and is incredibly smart and eager to please. She also cleans up wonderfully in public — this girl will happily hang out at your feet at a brewery or restaurant like she owns the place. Honey would do best as the only dog or alongside friendly, non-aggressive dogs, and she's looking for a home with lots of love, some adventure, and plenty of couch time in between. Could that be you? Story
Tank has been through a lot and needs patience, love, and continued training in a foster or forever home, he needs space to decompress! Meet Tank, a delightful 54 pound pup whose name perfectly captures his affectionate nature! This dude is a bull in a china shop and currently needs slow introductions to new dogs as he comes in hot and still is learning to calm down before initiating proper play with new canine friends. Tank loves his ball! Tank enjoys exploring spacious backyards, leading an active lifestyle, and embarking on new adventures—he’s an excellent car companion and an even better friend. After a day filled with fun, he transforms into a champion sleeper, ensuring your nights are peaceful and cozy. Tank would do best with older kids, he’s a total kangaroo and tends to forget how strong he is! Tank is looking for an experienced dog owner who is very active and is ready to be his drill sergeant with commands and constant activity. He’ll settle down with his ball but he is a very high energy pup who loves to be constantly stimulated with toys and activity. If you’re in search of a loving, adaptable dog ready to become a cherished part of your life, Tank is eager to win your heart!

Story
Meet Axel! This sweet German Shepherd boy has finally made it to San Diego and is looking for a foster or forever home to call his own. At around 3.5 years old and over 85 pounds, Axel is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Axel walks well on leash and loves car rides. He loves laying at his humans feet and being their little shadows. He definitely thinks he's a lap dog because he is not afraid to climb right up. He welcomes pets and head scratches. He's dog friendly and would absolutely love a yard to play in and a family to shower with affection. He does great with kids as young as 2 and is very gentle. Because he's very curious about the outside world, Axel needs a home with a tall fence to keep him safe. The good news? He's not a vocal boy and only barks when other dogs start the chorus and when the doorbell rings, like most germen shepherds he'll go on high alert and be ready to patrol the house and yard for intruders. Axel is looking for a patient family who will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell and show him the love he deserves. Could that be you?
