Story
Meet Miss Petal! She was the longest resident at the Downey Animal Shelter when she was about to be euthanized. Wishbone saved her from being put to sleep to give her a second chance at life. She was dearly loved by the shelter staff for how sweet she is. Petal is a bundle of love as she wants nothing but your love and attention. At first, she is timid but warms up after being given some treats. She does great with other dogs and loves to wrestle all day after careful introduction. Petal is house trained, crate trained, and walks great on a leash. She needs supervision around cats for a slow introduction but we'd recommend a home with no small animals due to her natural prey drive.

Story
Being a senior shepherd (around 9 years old), Lizzie carries herself with years of wisdom. She is a fantastic listener, walker and extremely smart. She is crate trained, fully potty trained, loves her choke collar for walks, knows regular commands, and can be by herself for a few hours no problem. She loves to play fetch or gentle tug of war if you get her riled up, but is in her happy place splayed out on the couch sunbathing and hanging - or on her back getting belly rubs of course.  She is incredibly easy-going and just loves to be nearby and cuddled up by your feet when you're working or hanging—she's the best and chillest companion you could ask for. She loves all people and is very trusting. Despite years of neglect and a rough past, she has such an amazing, happy spirit and continues to come out of her shell every day - like she is growing younger not older.  She has epilepsy, which has been completely under control with her daily medication. She has come a long way with her walks and has gotten used to going up and down a flight of stairs despite struggling at first, and she knows her limits; if she is getting tired she'll just happily turn us around to walk back home. She's great with kids and does not have a prey instinct. We believe she would adjust to other dogs with proper introduction as well.

Story
Cleo(petra) is a gorgeous one year old and is an absolute sweetheart! She was rescued from the South LA Animal Services Shelter and was kenneled with another dog her size. Cleo is doing well with a labrador she's sharing a home with right now. She loves people with that puppy energy and loves to play. She enjoys various chew toys and likes to mouth things but is always gentle about it. Even when taking treats from your fingers! She loves lick mats, chewing on pig's ear type chews, and Kongs with pumpkin puree. She is super sweet, cuddly, and smart as a whip. She is clearly very trainable and eager to learn already picking up on commands after just a few days like “sit”, “down”, “stay”, and “off”. She would be great for a young family! She is totally chill when she is in her crate. When she is not in her crate she just trots around the house and yard and checks things out. She's not big on lounging around if she has room to roam.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Namu🌳 (Namu means tree in Korean) 1. Health Condition * Not neutered yet. 2. Rescue Story * Namu was staying at the Gimje City Shelter, whose accomodation space was beyond the limit. Namu was in danger of being put down while staying in such a crowded place and Adogs team rescued him. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is shy and wary of strangers, so it is hard to touch him as soon as you meet him. Can be touched and even gently held when trust is built, so it's important to wait and go at his own pace. * With Dogs: Gives a warning sign such as growling when strange dogs smell or come too close to him. But can develop to even bite them when they come to the side when he is eating. Attention is required. Wags the tail and likes dogs whom he feels familiarity, but prefers being alone to hanging out with other dogs. * Walks: Is generally good at walking, but tries to chew the leash when he gets surprised with loud noise or feels the leash pulled. Attention is needed to prevent him from running away by chewing the leash. Doesn’t react much to other animals. * Hygiene: Takes brushing very well! Gets nervous a bit in toenail trimming, but makes no big fuss. 4. Special Notes * Has not nipped at a person yet, but has possibility to nip when a stranger suddenly tries to touch him or he feels being threatened. Careful attention is needed.

Story
This is Jojo! He's a sweet and friendly Belgian Malinois mix. Jojo loves people. He wants to be everyone's friend when he meets them. Jojo is also a cuddler he loves to snuggle up to you on the couch while watching TV. He's a total goofball with playful energy. Jojo is dog friendly but requires slow introduction. He is crate trained, sleeps through the night no problem, and is great with cats. Jojo had a rough start to life. There's a piece of his right ear missing and he has some scar tissue on his left eye. Found emaciated in Lancaster, he was taken into the shelter but ran out of time and almost euthanized. Wishbone pulled him from the shelter to give him a second chance!
