Meet Millie! This 75 lbs German Shepherd mix is truly the most special girl. She is searching for a forever home to call her own. This sweet girl was nearly euthanized because the shelters are too full, but luckily, we saved her in time. She had FHO surgery in Mid-April and is still recovering, but is anxious to find her forever family. She is described as a very affectionate and loving girl. Her favorite thing in the world is being with her people. If it were up to her, she would never leave your side. Like many working breeds, she is extremely loyal. She is an old soul that has a calm demeanor and low energy levels for a working breed. Millie is quite the curious pup! She loves exploring the yard, and once she is healed from her surgery, we suspect she will enjoy going for adventures with you. Millie loves to meet new people and she especially loves men. She will give you her paw when she would like more pets. She is friendly with dogs of all sizes and enjoys running around with her furry friends. She has been around older kiddos and been totally fine with them. As a loyal pup, Millie does have a little separation anxiety. She will whine a little if she’s left alone, but eventually will settle into her crate. She is not destructive. When you are home, she will follow you from room to room. Can you blame her? She just wants to be with the people she loves most! Millie’s ideal forever home would be a calmer home that can provide her with lots of love. Ideally, at least one person would work from home or be able to spend time with her throughout the day. While she would enjoy some more casual adventures, we don’t think she would be the best hiking or running buddy. Daisy is sure to fit right into to your family, as she absolutely lights up when she sees kids! This smart girl already knows how to sit and shake. Daisy was picked up as a hungry scared stray and brought to the shelter. Even in a loud scary place, Daisy interacted and played with all of her dog and human friends. However, that wasn’t enough to keep her off the euthanasia list. Due to an amazing foster offer, Sandy Paws Sanctuary, was able to rescue her!

Once she gets to know you she will politely lay in your lap and on your bed. Lila was abandoned at the shelter by her previous family. Milo is a 2 year old male. He is not neutered. He is super energetic, he loves to run and play ball. He deserves a loving family that can take care of him and needs lot of time. He does not get along with cats but is super friendly with humans. He doesn’t like other dogs and he barks but when on walks, we have trained him to not bark or approach other dogs. He loves to eat chicken and take naps in the shade. He loves playing with water. He is a pure bred German shepherd and he does shed. We are looking for someone who will give lots of attention to him, take him on walks, cuddle with him, and provide for him like the good boy he is.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ASAP! Milo was overlooked at the shelter, even though he was friendly to everyone he met. The staff loved him and always had a great time when they took him out to play. Milo has a very interesting look, and that might be why he was passed over. He has a brindle body, almost with tiger stripes, and a black face. We think he's handsome! Milo began to shut down and get very depressed as he waited for someone to adopt him. He just wanted someone to love. Unfortunately, his time ran out, and he was scheduled to be euthanized. We were able to have a volunteer save him within an hour of being killed. Many other big dogs were killed that day, but Milo made it out! Imagine almost dying just because you look a little different. Milo is a healthy 1 year old Shepherd mix. He’s house trained and loves to cuddle. Milo is very well behaved, house trained and healthy. He walks nicely on a leash without pulling and is fine meeting other dogs on a walk. He's microchipped, fully vaccinated, and will be neutered. Milo is a smart dog, very obedient and will easily fit into your household. He would do best as an only dog in a home with someone who has had large breed dogs before. Milo is fully grown at 60 lbs, which is smaller than a Golden Retriever or Lab. I ended up at the scary pound along with my siblings, we were dumped by uncaring people who bred our Mama and when they couldn't sell us they dumped us like trash. 😡😡 Somehow we hit the jackpot because this rescue got us all out, to a vet and then off to foster homes-yay! 🍀 I'm a 10 week old female Pit/Shepherd/Husky mix and I am great with other dogs, cats and kids too! I can be a little shy at first but once I know you are a kind person I warm up quickly and will plop into your lap and give you nonstop kisses 💋💋💋 I'm also already house and crate trained, I'm super affectionate and I love me some belly rubs!
