Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

He came to us because he was not getting along well with the other dog in his previous home, we do think he would do best as an only dog. Hi there, friends—my name is Winter, and I’m a four-year-old girl with warm brown eyes and a tail so perfectly curled, my foster family calls it a cinnamon roll! 🍥 My story? It’s a bit bittersweet. I was very loved by my human, but when he passed away, my whole world turned upside down. I lost the only home I’d ever known, and it broke my heart. I stopped eating and didn’t know how to feel safe again. But then something beautiful happened—a foster family took me in and has been giving me all the patience, love, and understanding I need to find myself again. I’m housebroken, crate trained, and on the smaller side for a Husky mix (so I fit just right on the couch next to you). Every morning, I greet my foster family with a big smile and a toy in my mouth—because I’m finally happy to wake up in a home where I feel safe. I absolutely love toys… and having my very own people again. I live with other dogs and do great with them now, though I was a bit protective of my crate in the beginning (can you blame me?). I also live with children, and while I adore them, I’m still learning my manners, so a home without small kiddos would be best for me while I continue to grow. I’m a good listener, but hey—I’m not perfect! I’m working on keeping my paws off counters and learning that not every stranger is a threat. I take my job of protecting my people very seriously.
