Story
Meet Jax the independent pup with his own schedule. He is a goofy boy that is great with other dogs that have a rough and rowdy playstyle. He will need time to adjust to his new home outside the shelter and adopters that are willing to give him the time to warm up on his own terms. Due to Jax`s nature, he canot be adopted to a home with children.

Story
Lila is a 4-year-old energetic, cuddly girl who loves to run and chew on bones. Unfortunately, she does not always get along well with other dogs, which is why we are rehoming her. She has the most expressive eyes an animal could have and gets the most excited bark when you say the "o" word (outside). Lila would do best in a home with an experienced owner who is home often, can spend time with her to train her on her dog aggression, and has a yard for her to run around in. She does well with adults but is nervous around kids. Overall, she is housetrained as long as she isn’t left too long. We were told she has bad hips but that has never stopped her from loving to play fetch! At the end of the day, she wants nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch. She would love to be your new best friend!

Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pecan and her 7 siblings were found in a box near a hotel.  Their eyes were closed and they were in need of immediate care.  Unfortately this happened in South Florida and the pup were transported to PRBJ and into a foster home to get the proper care needed for such young puppies with no mama. New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We highly recommend their new family attend puppy training classes. Training classes are the most successful when everyone in the family attends so you all learn about your new puppy.    Please note a 6 ft fenced backyard is preferred for this baby to romp and safely play. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 20, 2024, 7:27 am
