Story
Sully is a 6-month-old puppy who’s still learning about the big, wide world around him. With his gentle, timid nature, he may be a little shy at first—but give him time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll start to see his sweet personality shine through. Like any young pup, Sully has plenty of puppy energy and curiosity. He’s at the perfect age to learn, which means he’ll need a home ready to provide guidance, structure, and consistent training to help him grow into a confident, well-mannered dog. A steady routine and clear leadership will go a long way in helping him feel secure and thrive. Sully is looking for patient adopters who understand that building trust takes time. With the right support, Sully has all the potential to grow into an amazing best friend.

Story
About a year ago, I found this sweet boy wandering the streets and took him in with the goal of helping him find a loving home. He’s been an amazing dog—potty trained, affectionate, great with children, and friendly with other animals. Unfortunately, my work schedule running a business has become so demanding that I can’t give him the time and attention he deserves. He has a loving personality and would thrive with a family or owner who can spend more time with him. My goal is simply to find him the wonderful home he deserves.

Story
Layla is a sweet, very playful 1 yr old, (11/29/24), weighing in at 66 lbs in April. She does follow commands currently taught but, sometimes hard-headed; fun teaching new ones. She eats well between 5-6 pm. Completed spay surgery on 2/18. Motivated by food. Enjoys toys but, must be sturdy! Loves walks. Sit Means Sit training began 4/22; advanced to group; much more confident and focused. She has acclimated to life with my 7 year old unneutered 152 lb Presa canario and 13 year old 37 lb Terrier mix. Both have very calm demeanors. Last hurdle: crate training; much improved; never relieves in living space but will in crate without a watchful eye on her cues to go outside. Requires a lot of time and activity. Want to avoid kill-sites. Revisiting options following current formal training.

Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
