Story
Twilight’s story begins on the streets of Mexico, where this calm and gentle shepherd mix learned to survive with quiet resilience. Despite everything he’s been through, Twilight has held onto his soft heart and sweet spirit. He may be bashful at first, taking a little time to feel safe with new people, but once he does, you’ll discover a truly caring, affectionate, and loyal boy. Twilight isn’t demanding—he’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be near you, offering quiet companionship and love. This handsome guy is happiest in a secure, fenced yard where he can explore at his own pace, take in the fresh air, and feel safe in his surroundings. His favorite pastimes include chewing on his bone, stretching out in a sunny patch for a nap, and enjoying calm moments with the people he trusts. Twilight is the perfect match for a patient, gentle family who appreciates a peaceful companion and understands that the best bonds grow slowly and beautifully. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted friend who will fill your home with warmth and quiet love, Twilight is ready to shine in your life. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $200 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org. ##2492045##

Story
Meet Lila — a sweet, spirited 7-year-old who loves to run, play fetch, and then melt into cuddles. With her soulful eyes and joyful “happy bark” when she hears the magic “O” word (outside!), she’ll quickly steal your heart. Lila is crate trained and thrives with adults, but she’d do best as the only pet in a calm home with an experienced owner. She can be unsure around some dogs and kids, but with patience, love, and a yard to play in, she’ll shine. What Lila wants most is a person to share her days with — running, playing, and then curling up close, knowing she’s finally home.

Story
Meet Max! This handsome boy may be big but he is a huge lover. Max was pulled from the local shelter just hours before he was put to sleep. The shelter thought he had a foreign body, but turns out he had pneumonia. Though his story starts off sad we are hoping the rest of his years makes up for it. He has been being spoiled in foster care and is now ready for his new home! Max is about three years old and gets along with other dogs but with proper intros. No cats for Max, he's too playful. Max does have some resource guarding that he is working through but has been doing good. He needs someone who has experience in his breed and is willing to continue working with him. He deserves the best life in a forever home. Max loves adventures and water!Max has had basic training and has done wonderful. If interested email handjkittenrescue@gmail.com ##2094841##
