Story
We rescued Zoe 4 years ago and truly love her. Unfortunately things have changed in that we now have grandchildren and we don't feel comfortable with Zoe around young children. Zoe has become very protective of me and doesn't like to share me. She is very well trained but has that initial anxiety reaction to people and other animals.

Story
Meet Willow! This bouncy girl loves playing with her toys and getting pets from her people. Willow can be exuberant, and has been working on her manners, so her adopters should be excited to continue working with her using positive reinforcement. Any children in the home should be able to assist with her training. Willow has been conflicted about meeting other dogs here at the shelter, so would likely do best as an only dog to start. She could potentially do well with a dog that is tolerant and able to ignore her while she settles in. A dog meet at the shelter is required for any potential canine siblings.

Story
Juno is 1 of 4 siblings that we saved from the shelter. All three of his siblings have been adopted but Juno is still waiting! It is absolutely WILD that this boy is still in his foster home. He is an absolutely amazing family dog and currently lives with younger and older children, multiple dogs, and a tortoise! Juno is medium to high energy, crate trained, and walks beautifully on leash. He is super easy to train, loves to run around with his foster siblings, and has a calm and adaptable demeanor. He is the whole package and there is no way that he should be growing up in foster. Inquire about Juno today!

Story
Maple is a beautiful girl with lots of love to give. While shy and unsure at first, she will warm up in time. Maple is everything she is supposed to be, she is intelligent, curious, hardworking and protective of her people. Maple was born to adventure. She loves exploring new places and has even driven (well, rode!) across the country! She is a CA girl. ☀️ Maple loves, and when I say “loves”, I mean LOVES, a good belly rub. Maple will be five on October 29, 2026. Maple would like to be the only pet in the house. I know, diva! She should not be around cats or children. If you need an adventure buddy with the most beautiful brown eyes, Maple is your girl. As much as it hurts, we are rehoming Maple because she does not get along with our other pets. We have completed training with behavioral professionals and she cannot be trusted around cats or children. Please reach out with any questions. The adoption fee will go to a charity of your choice.

Story
🌟 Meet Tacha — Our Last‑Minute Miracle Girl 🌟 Tacha is a stunning 4.5‑year‑old German Shepherd who was saved from euthanasia literally at the final moment. At 74 lbs, fully vaccinated, spayed, and heartworm negative, she’s healthy, vibrant, and so ready for the next chapter of her life. 💛 Personality Tacha is pure joy wrapped in fur. She’s full of life, full of love, and full of that classic German Shepherd devotion. She adores kids and gets along beautifully with other dogs. Her heart is huge — she just needs someone to give it to. 🐾 Home Needs Right now, Tacha is living in a vet’s office with very little space to stretch her legs or play. She’s not settled, and she desperately needs a real home where she can finally exhale. A fenced yard would be a dream for her — a place to run, explore, and feel free again. Note: Tacha is not a fan of cats, so she’ll need a feline‑free home. 🏡 Tacha Deserves Her Happily Ever After This beautiful girl has already beaten the odds. Now she just needs someone to choose her. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will brighten your days, Tacha is waiting. 📞 Interested in adopting or fostering Tacha? Please contact Julie at 919‑624‑0059 or julie@arcadiarescue.org Tacha is located in TN and transport is available to your area.

He is house trained, fully vaccinated and will be neutered prior to adoption. Mason is ready for a forever home where he can continue to blossom and share his love.
