Story
Meet Melly! Melly was found running around Rt. 28 in North Reading cofused and scared. She clearly has had litters so we believe she was used for breeding and then dumped. We are looking for a Shepherd saavy foster/adopter for her. She is a strong gal and not leash trained. She has loved every adult she has met, did well at the vet, and LOVES to play fetch and tug. She is a loyal shadow and loves to be with her human. She will be an amazing companion for someone. She is being fostered locally North of Boston and is available for Meet & Greets, but we do need an application submitted first to see if she could be a good match.  This girl needs a chance to thrive & deserves so much love and attention. Come meet Melly!  All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll. Melly is available for Meet and Greets, and our foster to adopt program. Please let us know if you would like to meet her by emailing us at rescue@bark-n-roll.com. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email. ##2408959##

Story
Meet Crush — a gentle soul with a worried heart who`s still learning how to navigate the big, confusing world. He’s not your typical dog; in fact, he’s still figuring out what it even means to be a dog. Crush needs patient, understanding people who can give him space, go slow, and most importantly, respect his boundaries. If he says “no thanks,” he means it — and we’re looking for a home that will listen. He’s not ready for touch, cuddles, or the usual expectations that come with bringing home a new pup. What he needs right now is a safe, calm place to just be, with people who are okay meeting him exactly where he’s at.That said, Crush has given us glimpses of something really special. With time, consistency, and trust, a few dedicated staff members have seen his sweet and sensitive side begin to peek through. A little sniff here, a curious look there — it’s all progress, and it`s proof that Crush wants to connect, he just doesn’t quite know how yet. He’s looking for a soft landing, a quiet home, and people willing to walk beside him without rushing the process. If this sounds like you, come in and chat with our staff today.

Story
Meet Gill, a gentle soul with a heart full of potential. This shy, sensitive guy has lived a sheltered life and is just beginning to explore the world around him. New experiences can be overwhelming for Gill, and he`s still learning how to feel safe in unfamiliar surroundings. He`s not ready for cuddles or physical affection from humans just yet, and that`s okay. What he truly needs is time, space, and a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and cant be rushed. What Gill does love, though, is the company of other dogs. His personality starts to show around canine companions, especially those who are calm, confident, and kind. A dog-savvy home with a steady, well-adjusted dog could help show Gill the ropes and give him the reassurance he craves. Gill is looking for a peaceful, predictable environment where he can take his time getting comfortable and be celebrated for the small, quiet victories along the way. If you`re the type of person who finds joy in gentle progress and believes in letting a dog set his own pace, Gill might just be your perfect match.

Story
Before calling about this dog, please read our adoption requirements at http://gsrne.org/requirements-for-adopting-from-gsrne There is nothing more majestic than a black German shepherd and the first thing everyone notices about this boy, is how handsome he is. Roman, with his majestic looks is turning heads wherever he goes. At first with his aloofness he can look a bit spooky but, he is the sweetest boy. Roman is approximately 2.5 years old, very smart, fun and has a goofy side to him. He has a solid obedience foundation and loves to go out on walks and playing with toys. Roman does great with playing with other dogs especially females, and would do best in an active home with no cats. Let’s help Roman find his forever family!
