Story
Dakota Local is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Meet Dakota, the gorgeous 2-year-old purebred German Shepherd who lives up to the meaning of her name—FRIEND! This big girl weighs about 95 lbs and is as friendly as they come. Dakota has been well socialized and is friendly. She loves having visitors over and meeting new people. She's also good with dogs, although she prefers playing with male dogs and submissive female dogs. As a German Shepherd, Dakota thrives when active and busy. She would do best with an active family who will include her in their adventures. Dakota has had both group and individual training sessions. She is highly intelligent and treat-motivated, which makes continued training easier. She is house and crate trained, although she no longer uses the crate as she's non-destructive in the home. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Dakota takes medication twice a day to help with separation anxiety. NO Cats for this girl, she has a high prey drive. Come meet Dakota! She can't wait to be your new loyal best friend! Story
Rumble is a perfect mix of snuggly and playful! He loves running, playing with other dogs and toys, but anytime he's not playing he will be trying to lay in your lap and snuggle with you! He will also try to kiss his humans as much as he can. He loves the other dogs in his foster home but hasn't met any cats (he should be fine with them though given his age!)  He is a social butterfly puppy who is really intelligent and learns fast. Rumble is doing very well walking on a leash, and is almost housebroken. He is not a big fan of his crate but does eventually settle down. He does ok in the car and was a very good boy for his recent outing to Tractor Supply for a bath!     Rumble and his 5 other siblings were born to a German Shepherd mom who was found as a stray (mom was fortunately adopted by her finder).
