Story
Jada is a smart, affectionate, high-energy dog who thrives with structure, daily exercise, and engagement. She’s very people-oriented and enthusiastic, and she does best with consistent routines and an active home. Jada is still early in her training, she occasionally responds to basic commands like sit and will need continued training and patience. She also tends to jump when greeting people, which will require reinforcement and structure. Due to changes in my housing situation, I’m seeking a stable, long-term home that can better meet her needs. This decision is about finding the right environment for her to thrive. Jada will come with her supplies to support a smooth transition, including a heavy-duty escape-proof crate, a large comfortable dog bed, food bowls, and two full bags of her current food.

Story
Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move, I need to find a new home for my dog. His name is Taz, and he’s 4½ years old. He’s a very sweet boy and doesn’t need much—just love, care, and affection. I’m looking for a responsible owner who will take good care of him and give him the attention he deserves. I can also provide some of his belongings to help with the transition, including bowls, collars, and other essentials. If you’re interested or would like more information, please reach out.

Story
Some heroes wear capes, some grow wings after they heal. Meet Dragon Fly, a gentle soul with a survivor’s heart. Dragon Fly was found on the streets with a broken leg, she was searching for food, safety, and a little kindness. Life didn’t start gently for her, and because of that she’s shy at first and slow to trust. But give her patience and a soft voice, and you’ll unlock the best secret ever. Once Dragon Fly chooses you, she is all in. Hugs, pats, quiet loyalty, and a shadow that follows you from room to room like it’s her favorite job. She’s truly the perfect little lady, polite, calm, and thoughtful. But don’t be fooled by her dainty manners. Once she feels safe, Dragon Fly blossoms into your go-to gal for everything from peaceful hikes to championship-level couch lounging. Her previously broken leg never dimmed her spirit, and now that she’s fully healed, she runs like a champ and enjoys playtime in a fenced yard. Dragon Fly lives harmoniously with six dogs and has shown zero aggression. She tends to respectfully ignore the bigger dogs and saves her playful energy for her bestie. She would love a doggy companion, especially one around her size, but she’d also be perfectly content as your one and only. Cats are an unknown at this time. She’s potty trained, learned by watching the big dogs, and will politely let you know when it’s time to head outside. She’s a dream in the car too. Traveling is her jam. She either naps or gazes out the window like she’s in a movie montage. Dragon Fly is currently being fostered with her beloved buddy BumbleBee, but she is more than ready to start her next chapter with a loving family. A new dog friend would be a bonus, but the real requirement is a human with patience, kindness, and a soft place to land. Her exact birthday is a mystery, she acts young, and in excellent health. If you’re looking for a stunning, gentle companion who will stand by your side through adventures and lazy days alike, Dragon Fly is ready to spread her wings and choose you.Name: Dragon Fly (Princess)Breed: German Shepherd DogSex: FemaleAge: 1 year 11 months 1/1/26  Weight: 26lb as of 1/1/26Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Older over age 7Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
