Story
Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move, I need to find a new home for my dog. His name is Taz, and he’s 4½ years old. He’s a very sweet boy and doesn’t need much—just love, care, and affection. I’m looking for a responsible owner who will take good care of him and give him the attention he deserves. I can also provide some of his belongings to help with the transition, including bowls, collars, and other essentials. If you’re interested or would like more information, please reach out.

Story
Kodiak is a beautiful, sweet, and lovable dog who has completely stolen the hearts of myself and my family over the past four years. This decision is incredibly difficult, but I’ve come to realize that Kodiak needs a different environment in order to thrive. While she is wonderful in so many ways, Kodiak has had issues getting along with our other female dog, Presley (a dachshund). The first incident happened after about a year, and while we thought it was an isolated situation, she unfortunately attacked Presley again in October 2024, which required medical care. During that same week, there was a second incident. Since then, we’ve kept the dogs separated, but I feel this has only increased her frustration toward Presley, even through the crate. We also have a small male dog, Bandit, and we believe the conflict between Kodiak and Presley is related to them both trying to establish dominance. We worked with a trainer and received tools to help Kodiak, but due to a very difficult 2025

Story
MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER Bella is a German shepherd amstaff mix. She was born on 9/11/21. She is spaid and very healthy. Belle is very affectionate and is good with other dogs including smaller one's. Not a dog for a home with a cat. She loves going for rides and swimming hiking and generally be very active. Bella is great with children but can be overwhelming for younger children because she loves to give kisses. She's always been fed higher end dog food such as tast of the wild, fromm brand, and Stella and chewy she's also used to having somebody cook for her such as green beans carrots sweet potatoes and chicken. Chloe is bull dog mix’s. Both need to go together we did try separate then. Chloe didn’t do well with out Bella. There will be a lower adoption fee if you adopted the two If interested call Taunton Animal Shelter at 508-822-1463 and ask for Rob Shelter Manager

Story
Some heroes wear capes, some grow wings after they heal. Meet Dragon Fly, a gentle soul with a survivor’s heart. Dragon Fly was found on the streets with a broken leg, she was searching for food, safety, and a little kindness. Life didn’t start gently for her, and because of that she’s shy at first and slow to trust. But give her patience and a soft voice, and you’ll unlock the best secret ever. Once Dragon Fly chooses you, she is all in. Hugs, pats, quiet loyalty, and a shadow that follows you from room to room like it’s her favorite job. She’s truly the perfect little lady, polite, calm, and thoughtful. But don’t be fooled by her dainty manners. Once she feels safe, Dragon Fly blossoms into your go-to gal for everything from peaceful hikes to championship-level couch lounging. Her previously broken leg never dimmed her spirit, and now that she’s fully healed, she runs like a champ and enjoys playtime in a fenced yard. Dragon Fly lives harmoniously with six dogs and has shown zero aggression. She tends to respectfully ignore the bigger dogs and saves her playful energy for her bestie. She would love a doggy companion, especially one around her size, but she’d also be perfectly content as your one and only. Cats are an unknown at this time. She’s potty trained, learned by watching the big dogs, and will politely let you know when it’s time to head outside. She’s a dream in the car too. Traveling is her jam. She either naps or gazes out the window like she’s in a movie montage. Dragon Fly is currently being fostered with her beloved buddy BumbleBee, but she is more than ready to start her next chapter with a loving family. A new dog friend would be a bonus, but the real requirement is a human with patience, kindness, and a soft place to land. Her exact birthday is a mystery, she acts young, and in excellent health. If you’re looking for a stunning, gentle companion who will stand by your side through adventures and lazy days alike, Dragon Fly is ready to spread her wings and choose you.Name: Dragon Fly (Princess)Breed: German Shepherd DogSex: FemaleAge: 1 year 11 months 1/1/26  Weight: 26lb as of 1/1/26Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Older over age 7Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Nala is about 3 1/2, the perfect German Shepherd! I have 2 other German Shepherds, one male and one older female. She gets along with all dogs, male and female, except my older female! My older female, is very overprotective and Nala also wants me. I have to keep them totally separate, and unfortunatly, it is so stressful!! I had a heart attack and recently, had a mini stroke. It is too difficult to take this journey on any longer. I will keep my other two, as they are totally trained and have no issues together. I need help immediately!!! Honestly, this is killing me, as I would keep Nala if they got along!! She is fun, gentle, smart. Nala wants to please her person! Wants love and to hang with her person. It is very sad, as I cannot give her the attention she deserves. I would like to have her in a home with someone who knows and understands German Shepherds. She loves to go outside, run and play ball. Loves to walk and take car rides!! There is no red flags at all!!
