Story
Welcome Jack to CCPAL Rescue. Jack is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and he has some really wonky ears. They should be upright sometime soon. He bonds very deeply to his human and follows her around everywhere. He is good in his crate and good with other dogs. He is smart and wants to learn. He is still very clumsy and very much puppy, even though he is pretty big. His dad was around 100 pounds. Jack may be 75 pounds full grown is our best guess. He was found on the side of the road that someone was giving them away or going to take them to the pound. CCPAL took the girl and the boy puppy. Our guess a breeder or something. Jack goes potty outside. He will take a bath but doesn’t like the blowdryer much. He has a medium length coat with some waviness on the hair near his back and back legs. He is a big baby boy, even if he does look like he will have a fierce look. He would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He needs to finish his puppy training and he also will be best in a home with someone that knows GSD need physical and mental stimulation to be happy. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?

Story
Meet Maya, a beautiful 10 month old spayed female GSD mix, weighing about 70 lbs! This stunning girl has one blue eye and one brown eye.  Maya is a great dog! She is very playful. She is good with other dogs, and did well with a cat that she met (didn’t pay much attention to it), however she has not been formally cat tested. She is a smart girl who knows some basic commands. She is sure to steal your heart! She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this beauty today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2375838##
