Jackie O was picked up stray by a city animal control facility and has been there since 10/23/25. (AAA is helping get her info out so she can find the home she deserves). She is patiently waiting for her ticket out. She is a charismatic and highly social gal who has been to many adoption events and attracted tons of attention but still hasn't had any takers... She is extremely playful and we recently figured out at an event that she is a doll with kids!

Story
This absolutely gorgeous, brilliant, devoted wonderful boy is Kairo! He came into the pound when a person found him roaming through the neighborhood. He called him over and sweet Kairo came trotting over, happy to make a friend. The gentleman’s heart broke for this guy as he was so skinny and you could tell either homeless or poorly cared for. Animal control came to get him and this guy loaded right up, friendly and grateful to everyone from day one. He did great with everyone at the pound and thankfully a fabulous couple agreed to take this sweet guy in and give him lots of love until he finds his forever home! Kairo is about 2-3 years old, and currently weighs 54 lbs. he’s gained weight nicely and may gain a couple more pounds as he’s now getting great nutrition and care! He’s been to the vets and now had all medical work completed! He’s now current on vaccines, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, preventative, and he’s been neutered! This amazing guy is officially ready for adoption! Upon entering foster care everyone really fell for what a wonderfully good boy he is. He’s extremely intelligent and always wants to do the right thing. He’s been fantastic reliably going potty outside, he’s great on leash, and he loves to go for rides in the car! His favorite things are activities with his favorite people, and he looooves to run and play hard with his foster sister (also available for adoption!) name Makayla! He would do great with an active female dog to exercise, race, play with and snuggle! That said he’s a confident guy and doesn’t need another dog in the household. This guy is a higher energy/active guy! As you’d expect from his breed, he’s brilliant and loves to stay active. Whether it’s hiking, racing around with his dog friends, going on adventures with you, or playing incredible games of fetch, this guy loves an active lifestyle and it’s truly wonderful to have the companionship of such an incredibly intelligent, loyal, devoted dog. He is a confident, courageous pup, who has been social and fabulous. He is super eager to please and is longing for the deep relationship that shepherds are known for. This guy will thrive in a home where he has room to play and with parents who are longing for a truly devoted, intelligent, incredible companion to have by their side for many years to come! He has such a heart of gold, and he’s surely sad to not have the deep bond that he lives for. If you’d love to make his dreams of a bright future come true, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!

Story
This wonderfully intelligent, bright beautiful sweet girl is Harmony! She was found as a stray, sitting in the steps of the city hall as though she was patiently waiting for someone to scoop her up and give her a loving home. She went to the dog pound where she was immediately a social butterfly with everyone she met! She absolutely LOVES people and made fast friends with animal control and all the volunteers. The pound was full and they committed to holding onto her and skipping over her for euthanasia as everyone was just so smitten with her. They knew she would make someone such a fantastic companion and deserved to find a future where she is well loved and knows how beautiful life can be! This sweet girl is a perfect 3 years old, and is medium sized. She had completed her vet work and is fully vaccinated, deworming, heartworm tested negative, she’s current on preventative and microchipped, and she’s now spayed! She’s a healthy, happy girl ready to begin her next and best chapters of her life! Harmony immediately settled into foster care so well! She’s made some fantastic doggy friends and loves to run and play with her best buddies! Shes an active girl and will be a great companion for other active medium or large pups, but she will also do just fine as an only dog! Her number one priority is just finding parents who will adore her and long for a new best friend. She is fantastic in car rides and happy to hop in and ride by your side on whatever your next adventure is! She’s great on hikes, she loves the water, and is confident to go anywhere you’d like to take her! Shes happy to journey with you wherever you’d like to go, or hang out with you in the yard while you do yard work. She also is such a devoted girl and will love to hop up next to you on the sofa and snuggle with you at the end of a long day. She is super intelligent and ready to learn everything you’d like to teach her. She’s also so loving and welcoming to everyone she meets. Harmony is doing great going potty outside and loves her time cozy inside, as well as enjoying her outside in nature. She can’t wait to find a home as devoted to her as she will be to them! If you’d love this beautiful, sweet girl to be your newest family member, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!

Story
Welcome Jack to CCPAL Rescue. Jack is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and he has some really wonky ears. They should be upright sometime soon. He bonds very deeply to his human and follows her around everywhere. He is good in his crate and good with other dogs. He is smart and wants to learn. He is still very clumsy and very much puppy, even though he is pretty big. His dad was around 100 pounds. Jack may be 75 pounds full grown is our best guess. He was found on the side of the road that someone was giving them away or going to take them to the pound. CCPAL took the girl and the boy puppy. Our guess a breeder or something. Jack goes potty outside. He will take a bath but doesn’t like the blowdryer much. He has a medium length coat with some waviness on the hair near his back and back legs. He is a big baby boy, even if he does look like he will have a fierce look. He would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He needs to finish his puppy training and he also will be best in a home with someone that knows GSD need physical and mental stimulation to be happy. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?
