Story
Welcome Diamond to CCPAL Rescue. Diamond is a 3-year old GSD with really beautiful traditional looks. She is black and tan and weighs about 80 pounds. She is a tall girl and looks to be a good weight. She is good with other dogs and she loves her kennel. She is a timid girl but she does look like a formidable force. She bonds deeply and is a smart girl. She already has bonded to the kennel workers who are female. She knows sit and some hand commands and is decent on a leash. She is potty trained and good in a car. She would be great with someone that knows the breed. She is moderately active and not extremely confident. She will be a wonderful companion dog and would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently spayed and vaccinated. She is healthy and looking for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. . Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Jack to CCPAL Rescue. Jack is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and he has some really wonky ears. They should be upright sometime soon. He bonds very deeply to his human and follows her around everywhere. He is good in his crate and good with other dogs. He is smart and wants to learn. He is still very clumsy and very much puppy, even though he is pretty big. His dad was around 100 pounds. Jack may be 75 pounds full grown is our best guess. He was found on the side of the road that someone was giving them away or going to take them to the pound. CCPAL took the girl and the boy puppy. Our guess a breeder or something. Jack goes potty outside. He will take a bath but doesn’t like the blowdryer much. He has a medium length coat with some waviness on the hair near his back and back legs. He is a big baby boy, even if he does look like he will have a fierce look. He would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He needs to finish his puppy training and he also will be best in a home with someone that knows GSD need physical and mental stimulation to be happy. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Froot Loop, the gentle gem of her litter! Out of Honey Nut’s five puppies, she’s the calmest and most easygoing of the bunch. Froot Loop can be a little shy in new surroundings, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality truly shines. She’s playful and loving with her siblings, and when she warms up to you, she becomes the best snuggle companion you could ask for. You’ll often catch her with her adorable little tongue sticking out, even when her mouth is closed — it’s just part of her charm! Froot Loop would do wonderfully in a patient, gentle home that gives her time to come out of her shell. In return, she’ll give you endless love, quiet companionship, and those irresistible puppy snuggles. * Calm and gentle temperament * Playful with other puppies * Shy at first but very loving * Great snuggler * Adorable tongue-out smile _____________ Ready to adopt? DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY READY TO ADOPT. All of our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. *** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.

Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?

Story
Meet Luna! She’s a full grown, 4 year old, purebred German Shepherd. Luna is very sweet, but wary of strangers. She isn’t well trained socially with other pets, so she is the perfect candidate for a family looking for their first! If you do have more pets, Luna is a good listener and can be trained more socially around strangers and other animals. Luna is in need of a special diet; She is allergic to all things that have Chicken or Beef in them. She needs to strictly be on a Vegetarian or Seafood diet. We’re looking to rehome Luna as soon as possible with no cost. She loves cuddles, loves treats, loves to exercise, and especially loves to play with toys! Fill in an application and contact us if you’re interested and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can!
