Story
If you’re looking for the quintessential perfect combo of sweetness and brilliance, of lab and shepherd, Remy will steal your heart immediately!! This poor guy was found abandoned on a bridge, and cars wizzed by. An amazing animal lover pulled up and opened their door and immediately Remy hopped in and gave the sweetest thank you kisses! He has been such a complete love from the start that he melts the hearts of everyone he meets. He came into the dog pound where he was friendly to all, and even though it was so crowded and rescues are overwhelmed, this guy swiftly found himself in an amazing foster home! Remy is about 18 months old and currently weighs 70 lbs. He went right to the vets and he did amazing! The vets and techs all adored him! He had all of his vaccines done, he tested negative for heartworm, he’s been dewormed, microchipped, he’s current on preventative and he’s now neutered! He’s had all medical done and has a clean bill of health and is ready to begin his new life full of love! Remy settled into foster care immediately, so grateful for a full belly, wonderful dog friends and lots of human love! He is excellent with other dogs and loves to play! He’s great with both male and female dogs of all sizes. He would love a home with a doggy sibling, or where he can have a chance to play with dog friends! He’s living with a cat in his foster home and he’s fantastic with her! He’s a social butterfly with all people, children and adults both make fast friends with this wonderfully smart, attentive, loving boy. He is a social butterfly and is happy to meet family friends and go places! He loves to run around and play outside, he also enjoys hiking and walks after dinner. He enjoys any outdoor activity but he also super loves being in the house watching a movie or laying by the fire. He’s happy to trot by your side for all of life’s adventures and has such a social, confident, resilient, eager to please boy. He loves toys, cuddling, water, and soaking up all the love he can get. The sky is the limit for this super handsome, wonderfully loving, brilliant boy! He just needs to find parents who will be as loving and loyal as he is! He’ll be a great companion to a single person, a couple, or family! As long as you love him and want him to be your baby, he will thrive. If Remy is the boy for you, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!

Story
Welcome Diamond to CCPAL Rescue. Diamond is a 3-year old GSD with really beautiful traditional looks. She is black and tan and weighs about 80 pounds. She is a tall girl and looks to be a good weight. She is good with other dogs and she loves her kennel. She is a timid girl but she does look like a formidable force. She bonds deeply and is a smart girl. She already has bonded to the kennel workers who are female. She knows sit and some hand commands and is decent on a leash. She is potty trained and good in a car. She would be great with someone that knows the breed. She is moderately active and not extremely confident. She will be a wonderful companion dog and would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently spayed and vaccinated. She is healthy and looking for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. . Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Jack to CCPAL Rescue. Jack is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and he has some really wonky ears. They should be upright sometime soon. He bonds very deeply to his human and follows her around everywhere. He is good in his crate and good with other dogs. He is smart and wants to learn. He is still very clumsy and very much puppy, even though he is pretty big. His dad was around 100 pounds. Jack may be 75 pounds full grown is our best guess. He was found on the side of the road that someone was giving them away or going to take them to the pound. CCPAL took the girl and the boy puppy. Our guess a breeder or something. Jack goes potty outside. He will take a bath but doesn’t like the blowdryer much. He has a medium length coat with some waviness on the hair near his back and back legs. He is a big baby boy, even if he does look like he will have a fierce look. He would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He needs to finish his puppy training and he also will be best in a home with someone that knows GSD need physical and mental stimulation to be happy. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
🐾 Meet Froot Loop Frootloop is the biggest of her litter—but also the most gentle and tender-hearted. Shy, sweet, and incredibly affectionate, she’s a quiet soul who prefers to follow the lead rather than take charge. Her silly side shines through with her signature look—her tongue often peeks out even when her mouth is closed, adding to her undeniable charm. Frootloop has a meek and mild disposition and thrives on calm, loving environments. She does wonderfully with other dogs and would truly blossom in a home with a confident canine companion to help guide her and build her confidence. She hasn’t been fully tested with cats, but her curiosity is mild, and with a cat who can set boundaries, she would likely learn quickly. This girl is a world-class snuggle bug who wants nothing more than to stay close to her people. She would do best in a gentle, quiet home where she can feel safe, loved, and secure. While she hasn’t been tested with children, respectful kids would likely be just fine with her soft, loving nature. Fruit Loop recently did excellent interacting with one of the resident horses in her foster home. She has a calm nature and the horse allowed her to lick his face. If you’re searching for a sweet, soulful companion who will melt into your arms and your heart, Froot Loop is ready to find her forever home. * Calm and gentle temperament * Playful with other puppies * Shy at first but very loving * Great snuggler * Adorable tongue-out smile _____________ Ready to adopt? Start by filling out our online application (copy and paste the following link) https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DIX/Dog. Once submitted, we’ll review it and reach out to approved applicants by phone or email. A Petfinder Inquiry is not the same as an application - COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY READY TO ADOPT. All of our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. *** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.

Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?
