Story
He's a goofy boy. He knows tricks like sit, lay down, touch, paw and other paw, and kiss. He likes to lay in weird positions and loves some squeaky toys. He has pretty bad allergies but over the counter allergy medicine and supplements seem to work for him. He's prone to ear infections. He is 3 years old and not neutered. He's a good boy but like any dog he has his moments. He is crate trained. He's pretty skinny now and also has some problems with his paws but the vet said that was due to allergies. Again, he's a good boy and I can't take care of him anymore so I'm hoping else can give him the life he deserves.

Story
Meet Claire Bear! Claire Bear is a beautiful 1.5-year-old girl with a big heart to match her big size. Claire was originally adopted from a local shelter as a puppy but was recently returned a year later when her family decided they no longer wanted her. Understandably, she was very shut down and petrified in the shelter environment - but once she felt safe again, her true, sweet personality started to shine. Claire currently weighs about 83 lbs and could benefit from losing a little weight, as she appears to have been overfed in the past. With regular exercise and a consistent routine, she’ll be feeling her best in no time. She is a social and friendly girl who absolutely loves playing with other dogs that are tolerant of her size and enthusiastic energy. Because she can be a bit much for smaller dogs, she’d do best with similarly sized canine friends. Claire has lived with cats previously and done well. This happy girl enjoys romping around outside and would thrive in a home with a physically fenced yard, as her leash manners still need some polishing. She has a good understanding of house manners and is learning about crate training - she’s new to it since her previous owners allowed her to free-range. Unfortunately, boredom led her to occasionally chew shoes, so she’ll benefit from structure, enrichment, and plenty of appropriate toys (which she loves!). Claire Bear adores spending time with her people, does well with dog-savvy children, and truly has all the makings of a wonderful family dog. She’s affectionate, playful, and just wants a family who will love her, guide her, and commit to her furever. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a playful spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Claire Bear might be your perfect match. Story
Meet Leonidas (aka Leo)! Leo is a 5-month-old, 35-lb German Shepherd mix with movie-star looks and a whole lot of puppy charm. He’s a handsome fella who’s still very much a puppy, complete with playful energy, curiosity, and those classic puppy mannerisms that make you smile. Leo is doing great learning the ropes of home life. He’s crate trained and is working hard on perfecting his house manners, thriving with a consistent routine and clear expectations. He’s food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding, and he’ll benefit from continued work—especially with leash manners, where he’s still learning his best walking etiquette. Socially, Leo enjoys other dogs who are tolerant of puppy energy and active play. He recently met a cat and is still deciding whether they’re a friend or a fascinating mystery, so a slow, thoughtful introduction would be important in a cat home. Because of his expected size, energy, and working-breed nature, Leo is not a good fit for a condo, apartment, or mobile home, and he is not a dog that should be tethered. He’s looking for an active family, ideally with German Shepherd experience, who understands the time, structure, and training a young shepherd needs to grow into a wonderful adult dog. Older, dog-savvy children would be a great match for him. Leo is searching for a committed family who will guide him, grow with him, and love him furever. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, intelligence, and a whole lot of heart.  Leonidas is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedNeuteredADOPTION FEE: $375 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Duke and I’m definitely royalty! The elderly gentleman who adopted me as an 8-week old puppy had to undergo emergency surgery and lost his leg to diabetes, leaving himunable to properly care for me. I was only 10 months old at the time. I am now a 1-year oldstrapping young pup who has known only love and playtime my whole life. I have boundlessenergy and am up for whatever game you have in mind.. tug, fetch, long walks, you name it! Ineed a securely fenced yard as I know no boundaries (having been raised on 25 acres and loveto chase the wildlife, i.e., critters, deer, nothing is off limits)! I have shared my home with catsand will even play with cats! I have not been introduced (other than thru my kennel;) to myForster Mom’s dog as he is a special needs dog with delicate hips. Although I display “normal”fencing behavior in my kennel, it appears that I will be ok with another dog given slow, properintroduction. The best fit would be a dog that can keep up with my high-energy personality! That said, I CANNOT be crated. I am strong and have destroyed a large crate from the insideout. I do well in a large welded wire kennel (minimum size 6 x 8 x 4, pictured). My Foster Momkeeps me safe in a 10 x 8 x 6 kennel which I cannot topple and am safe in when she is away.As my prior home offered me limited opportunity to meet new people, I am wary of strangersand need slow, proper introductions. Once I know you, you are my friend! I bond easily withmy “person” and will guard that person and my home. An experienced owner is preferred. I amNOT a couch potato - and given the opportunity, I will probably eat your couch! If you’re looking for a constant companion to start every day will a smile, woof and wag - I’myour guy!12 Month old German ShepherdNeuteredMicrochippedHouse trainedGood with CatsPlayfulVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lexie is a 4-5 year old GSD who is in need of a forever family/person. From her caregiver: She would do best in a home with no other dogs, small animals or small children, children over 10 would be best. Story
This is boy was a surrender along with his siblings at 6 weeks old. We only know he is a Dutch Shepherd and Belgian Malinois. He is loveable, smart and shy. He would do great with another dog to boost his self confidence. Bentley needs time to warm up. He likes kids, but would probably do best with older children. He likes dogs, and cats.
