Story

Happy Meal is coming up on his rescue anniversary. Let’s help him find his forever home!Happy has come a long way in his almost year of foster from anxious stray to absolute lover boy. His big shepherd personality has really come out after decompression and he can boast glowing reviews from his veterinary behavioralist team! Not only is Happy loyal and active, he loves treats and is a complete cuddle bug. He has been working very hard to become confident on his own and with the help of medication and a regular schedule, he can be left for up to 8 hours a day in his cozy kennel.Even though he is past the puppy stage of life, he his playful and loves to romp in a fenced in yard. His curious side does still come out so he needs to be monitored at all times or in his crate to protect items around the house becoming unintended chew toys. Don’t worry! This boy is type A and loves a routine so he has learned when bedtime is and will put himself to bed with a nice nylabone to chew.Being a typical shepherd, he takes time to warm up to a new person but he is a Velcro dog once he does! If you are looking for a buddy to keep you company while you work from home then Happy Meal is the dog for you!Recipe for success:-Someone who is home more than not. He’s not a social butterfly who wants to go to dog parks or restaurant patios, he prefers chilling at home.-Fenced in yard (working on leash manners but a skilled escape artist)-Continue behavior medication and do a follow up appointment with Union Lake-Not cats or small animals (high prey drive)-No young kids (he doesn’t always know his own strength) ##2435049##

Story

This is Quigley. He is a two year-old German Shepherd greyhound mix that we adopted a year and a half ago from a local shelter. He is just under 85 pounds Great with all dogs as he does go to doggy daycare quite regularly does well with our two kittens at home not food aggressive in anyway and fully House trained, he also is completely crate trained as well. We unfortunately need to rehome him because we have a little niece on the way that we are going to be primary babysitters for as well as starting our own family as well. He is very large and has not done well with kids thus far he has done training, not only at home but with a professional so he does know most basic commands and walks OK on a leash. We are asking a minimum of $100 for his rehoming fee as we want to make sure that he goes to somebody who is experienced with a working breed like him.

Dorothy is a sweet loving little dog. She loves every person she meets, young, old, male or female, they are all friends. She is also great with all the dogs she meets. Dorothy will give a small growl if another dog is pushing her too far, but as long as the humans step in and make the other dog give her a break she will settle and not take it any farther. She is a lover, not a fighter. Dorothy would love a home with a doggie friend as well as a family that enjoys cuddling with her. All MAD dogs come with a series 3 Fi Collar and 6-month subscription. Story

Learning About Lilya Lilya’s story with us began in Perris, CA. We originally went to pick up, Paris (we believe they are sisters). When we returned for Lilya, we discovered she had already given birth—to 10 puppies (the “Aircraft Litter” ). It took her a little time to settle in, but once she did, we got to see a different side of her—and we’re so glad we did. Lilya is a gentle soul who has really come into her own after decompressing and receiving consistent care. Once she felt safe and well-fed, she proved to be a calm, attentive, and devoted mama. She enjoys spending time outdoors and is very alert and aware of her surroundings. Her doghouse is one of her favorite places, giving her a sense of comfort and security. What we’ve observed so far: A good, attentive mother Enjoys outdoor time and a quieter environment Very observant and aware Finds comfort in her doghouse/safe space Has not shown aggression toward people Lilya is still very much a “blank slate” in many ways. She hasn’t yet been introduced to leash walking or basic obedience, so she’ll need a patient adopter willing to guide her through the fundamentals and help her build confidence at her own pace. She does tend to bark at night in response to coyotes or other outdoor activity, so a more rural or understanding environment would be ideal. The Big Picture:Lilya hasn’t fully shown us all of who she is yet—and that’s okay. Dogs like her often blossom beautifully once they feel safe and secure. With time, patience, and stability, her personality will continue to unfold. She would do best in a calm home that can offer routine, space, and gentle guidance as she transitions into this next chapter of her life. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six-months subscription. Story

Meet Thorne: A Little Survivor with a Whole Lot of Brilliance! Thorne’s story didn’t start the way any puppy’s should. This 1 1/2 year old boy was found locked in a closet with his two siblings as part of a Georgia cruelty case. But that heartbreaking beginning is just one chapter of his story, and his future is looking SO much brighter! Now in foster care, Thorne is absolutely excelling in every way, and his foster mom can’t say enough wonderful things about him! She describes him as wicked smart, gorgeous, and pretty much perfect… and honestly, who are we to argue?! He settled in extremely quickly and made himself at home, integrating in with her current dogs. This handsome boy is already showing off his brains and adventurous spirit! He’s been hiking, enjoying trips to the beach , and learning all kinds of new things. He’s mastered “sit” and is currently working on “down” — because being brilliant is a full-time job! Thorne has a medium energy level, making him a great balance of fun and chill. He’s ready for adventures, new experiences, and then some quality time with his people. Whether it’s exploring a trail, feeling the sand between his paws, or learning his next trick, this boy is making the most of his second chance. He’s come so far from the dark place where his story began, and now he just needs someone to help him write the happiest chapters yet. Could Thorne be your perfect match? He’s smart, stunning, adventurous, and apparently pretty perfect according to his foster mom. ##2844908##
