Seriously-three legs, full heart, same amount of sass.💛✨ 🌟 Let me brag for a sec: I’m a sweet, snuggly, people‑loving queen who adores her stuffies. Story
Almond is my sweet, loving dog, and I got her from a Detroit Animal and Friends event last March. She’s about two years old and full of energy, especially when it comes to long walks and playtime. At the dog park, she shows off her cool trick by jumping right over other dogs, which always makes me laugh. She’s very easy to train, already potty trained and cage trained, which makes her such a smart and well-behaved girl. Even though she’s energetic outside, she really values her privacy at home and is usually tucked under my bed where she feels safe. She loves to sleep with you and be close, but she can be a little shy at first. One of the cutest things about her is that she loves to watch Bluey like it’s her favorite show. Almond has such a gentle heart, so make sure to show her lots of loves my Almond truly deserves it. She’s an Almond Joy!!

Story
**BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH APPROVED APPLICATION!**Jagger is a handsome German Shepherd puppy with soulful eyes and a gentle heart. Like many young pups, he’s still learning the ins and outs of being a puppy — figuring out toys, discovering how fun belly rubs can be, and bravely exploring the world one paw at a time.Right now, Jagger can be a little shut down in new situations. The world feels big, and he’s still building his confidence. But underneath that shy exterior is a sweet, loyal companion just waiting to blossom. Once he feels safe, he leans in for quiet affection, follows his people from room to room, and gives the softest little tail wags when you tell him he’s a good boy. He’s especially fond of cozy blankets, gentle ear scratches, and carrying around a toy that’s almost as big as he is.Jager would thrive with a patient, understanding family who will help him continue to grow at his own pace. Positive reinforcement training, structure, and consistency will help him feel secure and confident. Puppy classes would be a wonderful way for him to bond with his people and continue building social skills. It’s important to remember that German Shepherds are an incredible but demanding breed. They are intelligent, driven, and deeply loyal — but they can also be “a lot” in the best way. They require dedicated training, mental stimulation, enrichment activities, and regular exercise to truly thrive. Puzzle toys, scent games, structured walks, and ongoing learning will be key to helping Jager grow into a well-balanced adult. With time, patience, and love, Jagger has all the potential to become an amazing family companion — the kind of dog who bonds deeply, protects fiercely, and loves wholeheartedly. If you’re ready to invest in his future and guide him as he learns about the world, Jagger just might be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting me please call Macomb County Animal Control at (586)469-5115, to schedule an appointmentFor all other animals walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $350

We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time!
