Story
Ciara might not look like a typical German Shepherd, but that's what DNA says she is! She is over 60% Shepherd (and 100% amazing). Along with that comes loyalty to her person, tenacity, agility and playfulness...but without the double coat of hair! (score for her new family!) Ciara would love someone who has experience with working breeds like her. Ciara loves to chase things-tennis balls are her absolute favorite things. Tennis balls=life. She would love a big yard to run around and chase tennis balls in forever. This girl can RUN and boy is she FAST! She loves playing with other dogs and would be super excited to have a buddy. While she can be a bit shy meeting new people, she comes around after a day or so and then is ready to snuggle, love, and play!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Delilah is around 3-4 months old.  She weighs 15 lbs and might be around 45-50 lbs when fully grown. She is a cute little fur ball who looks to be a shepherd mix.     She has been in a foster home with her siblings and loves to play. She loves our dog Issac and would really enjoy the company of another submissive dog but would do fine as an only dog with humans who would play with her and exercise her.  She loves all people and dogs and is great meeting dogs in our neighborhood. Her previous foster home had a cat, and she did well with it.  She absolutely adores my 5-year-old grandson and plays with him without all the puppy biting.  She is a very outgoing friendly puppy who is looking for her forever home.       Delilah would prefer a fenced in yard. She is outside a lot. She LOVES to be outside with a lot of play time. She is definitely afraid of loud noises. Especially motorcycles, loud trucks and fireworks. When she’s outside in the yard and hears a loud noise, she comes running inside.       Delilah is working on housetraining and doing very well, she is smart and catches on very quicky. She goes to the door when she has to go out. She hasn’t had any accidents recently. But we still take her out every hour until she is fully housebroken. She sleeps all night in her crate with no accidents. She is very food motivated so training her is not hard.   Delilah is still a puppy so she needs to be watched constantly.  Since she is puppy, she should not be crated for 8+ hours a day while her family works away from home.  Once she’s fully trained and can be trusted, then that would be ok as long as owner gives her a potty break during the day, if they work full time.    Delilah is very smart, mostly quiet dog. She catches on very quickly to commands. She is very loving. She is a delight to have around our family. She is sassy in a good way with so much personality. She is crate trained and is great in the crate.  Please consider giving this sweet girl a wonderful home filled with love.  She will give that love right back to you!            If you are looking for a new puppy to brighten your day?   Delilah might be just the girl for you. Please submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application at this link.      https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC .                         Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized  after they are altered at 5-6 months old.    Adopters must be willing to bring the puppy to the Raleigh area for all medical care needed.  F oster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.   INTERESTED IN ADOPTING DELILAH? Story

Best Friend Pet Adoption and another shelter rescued all the puppies. We took three puppies and bottle fed them.  They are now healthy,  growing quickly   and looking for their forever homes.    Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Patrick requires an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered for adoption.   Applicants must live no further than one hour from Raleigh/Cary NC. Story
Stella is the sweetest girl. She loves everyone. A few things about her: -Adopted in 2021 as a puppy, her birthday is February 14, 2021 -Super smart and learns quickly. Has been to board and train and knows all basic commands. -Excellent on leash when not in crowded environments -House trained and crate trained. Crate can come with her. -Does well with our small child. She is gentle with him. -Has great recall, will come when called even when off leash -Lots of energy. She needs exercise and attention. Someone with another dog or a large yard would be perfect for her. -Does well in the car, does well in the crate, and does well when being boarded. We wish we could keep her as she is a perfect family dog but we just don't have the time she needs. We are unfortunately traveling too much to give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Is Georgia on your mind? We can fix that with our terrific young GSD, Georgia here on the farm. Georgia is a wonderful girl with the softest sable colored hair and sweetest eyes. She is a little shy when she first meets a new person, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up and wiggle her way in for a kind word and attention. She is a happy young girl around 48lbs (and still growing) and could be an excellent walking partner. She learns quickly and will enjoy a family that can give her a comfortable routine where she can gain confidence and emerge into the incredible dog she is. Another dog in your family would be fine with her or she can enjoy all the love your family has to offer. Get your adoption request in today to meet Georgia.
