Story
Stella is the sweetest girl. She loves everyone. A few things about her: -Adopted in 2021 as a puppy, her birthday is February 14, 2021 -Super smart and learns quickly. Has been to board and train and knows all basic commands. -Excellent on leash when not in crowded environments -House trained and crate trained. Crate can come with her. -Does well with our small child. She is gentle with him. -Has great recall, will come when called even when off leash -Lots of energy. She needs exercise and attention. Someone with another dog or a large yard would be perfect for her. -Does well in the car, does well in the crate, and does well when being boarded. We wish we could keep her as she is a perfect family dog but we just don't have the time she needs. We are unfortunately traveling too much to give her the attention she deserves.

Stunning, white as snow and a soft soul looking for a smart., active and loving place to land well.....forever! Skyy is a white GSD mix who weighs 55 lbs full grown. She is far more people focused than anything else. She is athletic, smart and quick and would do well to settle in a home where stimulation, both physical and mental, is provided. Story
Zeus is as handsome as his name conjures up. If you are a GSD lover, he will likely grab hold of your heart instantly.   Zeus has some wonderful personality traits; he is smart, obedient, and eager to please. Since Zeus is smart and inquisitive, he needs a family that will not only keep him physically active, but also keep him mentally active. This can be through scent games, interactive toys, hide & seek, learning new commands through positive reinforcement training, and much more.   He loves being outside and going on walks. Since he so handsome, he will definitely be a head turner when out and about on daily strolls. Zeus does walk nicely on a leash and has met some doggie friends along the way. He is looking for an active family and someone who wants to walk, hike, jog, run and get out each day for some cool activities. In addition, he'd really prefer someone who is home a good amout of the day, work or school from home kind of thing would be great!   Zeus would be fine as an only dog in the home. He would probably do well with other dogs, but needs a bit of time when meeting them, so slower introductions are important. Zeus gets along well with the smaller dogs in his foster home. He also did well when meeting children, but has not yet had an opportunity to meet any cats.   Zeus would love a fenced yard; he does love being outside, so a home with a ~5ft fenced is on his list of requirements. He is still playful and enjoys toys, fetch, tug of war, and goofing off with his people. He is a happy boy that will settle in and give you a daily dose of love and kisses. Even with his size, he is gentle and sweet and is happy to be near you but not on top of you. He is a good companion on car rides as well. He will hop in the backseat and keep you company on your journey.   FYI - Zeus is already house broken and crate trained another 2 boxes to check off! He sleeps nicely in his crate next to his humans.   As part of Zeus’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Zeus, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1987411##
