Story
Stella is the sweetest girl. She loves everyone. A few things about her: -Adopted in 2021 as a puppy, her birthday is February 14, 2021 -Super smart and learns quickly. Has been to board and train and knows all basic commands. -Excellent on leash when not in crowded environments -House trained and crate trained. Crate can come with her. -Does well with our small child. She is gentle with him. -Has great recall, will come when called even when off leash -Lots of energy. She needs exercise and attention. Someone with another dog or a large yard would be perfect for her. -Does well in the car, does well in the crate, and does well when being boarded. We wish we could keep her as she is a perfect family dog but we just don't have the time she needs. We are unfortunately traveling too much to give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Is Georgia on your mind? We can fix that with our terrific young GSD, Georgia here on the farm. Georgia is a wonderful girl with the softest sable colored hair and sweetest eyes. She is a little shy when she first meets a new person, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up and wiggle her way in for a kind word and attention. She is a happy young girl around 48lbs (and still growing) and could be an excellent walking partner. She learns quickly and will enjoy a family that can give her a comfortable routine where she can gain confidence and emerge into the incredible dog she is. Another dog in your family would be fine with her or she can enjoy all the love your family has to offer. Get your adoption request in today to meet Georgia.

Story
Zeus is as handsome as his name conjures up. If you are a GSD lover, he will likely grab hold of your heart instantly.   Zeus has some wonderful personality traits; he is smart, obedient, and eager to please. Since Zeus is smart and inquisitive, he needs a family that will not only keep him physically active, but also keep him mentally active. This can be through scent games, interactive toys, hide & seek, learning new commands through positive reinforcement training, and much more.   He loves being outside and going on walks. Since he so handsome, he will definitely be a head turner when out and about on daily strolls. Zeus does walk nicely on a leash and has meet some doggie friends along the way. He is looking for an active family and someone who wants to walk, hike, jog, run and get out each day for some cool activities. In addition, he'd really prefer someone who is home a good amout of the day, work or school from home kind of thing would be great!   He would be good as an only dog in the home and when meeting new pups is one that is slower introductions are is preference. In his foster home, he has been introduced to the smaller dogs on leash (since he is bigger pup), so hasn't been off a leash around them yet, but he sniffs around them and has been well behaved. Zeus has been good with the kids he has meet but hasn't had an opportunity to meet any cats.   Zeus would love a fenced yard; he does love being outside, so a home with a ~5ft fenced is on his list of requirements. He is still playful and enjoys toys, fetch, tug of war, and goofing off with his people. He is a happy boy that will settle in and give you a daily dose of love and kisses. Even with his size, he is gentle and sweet and is happy to be near you but not on top of you.   FYI - Zeus is already house broken and crate trained another 2 boxes to check off! He sleeps nicely in his crate next to his humans.   As part of Zeus’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Zeus, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1987411##

Allow me to introduce you to the enchanting Pepper, a vivacious and sassy girl who adds a dash of spice to every moment. With an undeniable flair for mischief, Pepper delights in playfully antagonizing her brother, creating a dynamic and entertaining atmosphere. In stark contrast to her brother Simba, Pepper possesses a composed and sophisticated demeanor. Her communication style is characterized by a refreshing lack of whining or barking, showcasing her unique way of expressing herself. This distinctive trait makes her a delightful companion who navigates the world with a certain grace and charm. Pepper's social circle extends beyond sibling banter; she thrives in the company of our large dog and human daughter. Engaging in spirited play sessions, Pepper seamlessly integrates into the family dynamic, creating bonds that go beyond species boundaries. Her ability to connect with both furry and human companions highlights her versatility and adaptability. One of Pepper's most endearing qualities is her penchant for spreading joy through affectionate gestures. Story
I’m Benny the shy snuggler but I should also come with a warning - I will steal your heart! I am the most shy of my siblings (and the most welcoming of human snuggles.) While my siblings wrestle and play with toys, I’m often snoozing. I’m one of the four PIPs ‘box babies’ and I’m so happy I was rescued from that cold box at only one day old and bottle fed so I could live the happiest of doggo lives. . I’m told I’m the quiet one, taking in my surroundings with a really epic head tilt. And I get a gold star for my crate training! I always find my people and stick with them because that’s where I am most comfortable. I’m going to be a big dog, since I’m already such a big boy. But that means more to love and snuggle – and like I said, I love the snuggles! I live in an active foster home with human kiddos and some big resident dogs. If you’re looking for a loving, miracle of a puppy to add to your family please come meet me!   YouTube: https://youtu.be/19MIdIjX5-0?si=45Kblt8pK8vkBWBD ##1941187##

Hi, I’m Denny! If you can’t find me playing with my toys, you can certainly find me exploring the yard at my foster home. I’m one of the four PIPs ‘box babies’ and I’m so happy I was rescued from that cold box at only one day old and bottle fed so I could live the happiest of doggo lives. My foster mom says I’m the most well-rounded (and I don’t think she’s talking about my dazzling puppy belly). I quietly explore my surroundings, was the first to love the big outdoors and I have the best head tilt ever. I’m going to be a big dog, since I’m already such a big boy. But that means more to love and snuggle! I live in an active foster home with three human foster brothers and a big foster dog sister. I do love a good snuggle as much as I love play time. If you’re looking for a handsome, playful, miracle of a puppy to add to your family – please come meet me!   YouTube: https://youtu.be/19MIdIjX5-0?si=45Kblt8pK8vkBWBD ##1941188##

Story
Hey there, pals! It's Timmy, the happiest little pup in town! Yep, that's right, I'm one of the fab four PIPs 'box babies' who got rescued from a chilly box when I was just one day old. Thanks to some awesome humans who bottle-fed me, I'm now living the doggo dream!    I may be the biggest of the bunch, but don't let my size fool ya – I've got a heart of gold and enough bravery to take on the world! When I'm not snuggling up with my favorite humans (which is like, the best thing ever), I'm all about that toy-playing life. And let me tell ya, I'm one independent little dude!   Check out my stylish brindle mish-mash on my legs and face – it's like I've got my own fashion statement going on! My foster mom even did a DNA test on me, so stay tuned for the results – mystery solved!   Oh, and when it's chow time, I'm the first to know and definitely not shy about letting you know too! But hey, I'm not just a foodie – I'm also the ultimate shadow, always by your side. Though, I do like to do a bit of solo exploring too – gotta keep things interesting, you know?   I live in this super active foster home with three awesome human foster brothers and a giant foster dog sister – talk about a happening crib! So, if you're on the hunt for a dashing, playful, plushie-loving, miracle of a pup to join your squad, then what are you waiting for? Come meet me, Timmy, and let the fun begin!    YouTube: https://youtu.be/19MIdIjX5-0?si=45Kblt8pK8vkBWBD ##1941186##

Story
Ciara might not look like a typical German Shepherd, but that's what DNA says she is! She is over 60% Shepherd (and 100% amazing). Along with that comes loyalty to her person, tenacity, agility and playfulness...but without the double coat of hair! (score for her new family!) Ciara would love someone who has experience with working breeds like her. Ciara loves to chase things-tennis balls are her absolute favorite things. Tennis balls=life. She would love a big yard to run around and chase tennis balls in forever. This girl can RUN and boy is she FAST! She loves playing with other dogs and would be super excited to have a buddy. While she can be a bit shy meeting new people, she comes around after a day or so and then is ready to snuggle, love, and play!
