Story
Turtle is such a good boy, he’s loving and sweet. He’s so gentle despite his size. He loves meeting new people and going places. He’s completely potty trained and will listen to what you say. Super food motivated. Does not like to be confined but does well on his own if left loose in the home. He is not crate trained and gets anxiety if confined. He is great with cats, has limited experience with children but hasn’t had any problems so far. He doesn’t know he’s big so he does jump on people. He will follow you around and is just a great companion. Does get car sick so may need something to contain any mess while being transported. He is an indoor dog, does not like to spend much time outdoors alone, he’s fine if you’re with him though. He loved to play, anything that squeaks and rope toys. He’s also perfectly content just hanging out and sleeping all day. He’s happy to play or happy to nap.

Story
Biscuit is a gentle, loving, hyper, timid young dog. I've had her since 6-7weeks old and she is now 2yrs old. I am going through a housing issue and can not keep her. She is fixed and chipped. I believe all shots are up to date. Old Stage road veterinarian is who's been seeing her. The reason I can't take her with me is that she is a little destructive when bored and alone. My job keeps me away for 12+ hrs a day ad I've come home to torn up furniture and a bathroom door. If you are with her or give her stuff to keep busy she is absolutely a doll. Good with kids and other animals. Potty trained for outside and not food aggressive.

Story
Mango's journey began in 2017, when she entered our lives when she was two-week-old. From that moment on, she became an integral part of our family, even as we moved homes multiple times. Her intelligence never failed to impress us. Despite her adult age, Mango retained a playful spirit, often acting like a puppy. Yet, along with Mango's endearing qualities came challenges, particularly her tendency to bark loudly. We tried various methods to address this behavior, but unfortunately, none yielded the desired results. Living in a TH with our young child and elderly parents presented challenges. Mango's barking, especially during thunderstorms and rainy nights, disrupted our household's peace, leading to sleepless nights and added stress. It's hard, but we've decided that Mango deserves a home where her needs can be better met. Mango isn't just a pet; she's family. We're seeking a loving home where her quirks are understood, so she can thrive and spread joy.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Delilah is around 3-4 months old.  She weighs 15 lbs and might be around 45-50 lbs when fully grown. She is a cute little fur ball who looks to be a shepherd mix.     She has been in a foster home with her siblings and loves to play. She loves our dog Issac and would really enjoy the company of another submissive dog but would do fine as an only dog with humans who would play with her and exercise her.  She loves all people and dogs and is great meeting dogs in our neighborhood. Her previous foster home had a cat, and she did well with it.  She absolutely adores my 5-year-old grandson and plays with him without all the puppy biting.  She is a very outgoing friendly puppy who is looking for her forever home.       Delilah would prefer a fenced in yard. She is outside a lot. She LOVES to be outside with a lot of play time. She is definitely afraid of loud noises. Especially motorcycles, loud trucks and fireworks. When she’s outside in the yard and hears a loud noise, she comes running inside.       Delilah is working on housetraining and doing very well, she is smart and catches on very quicky. She goes to the door when she has to go out. She hasn’t had any accidents recently. But we still take her out every hour until she is fully housebroken. She sleeps all night in her crate with no accidents. She is very food motivated so training her is not hard.   Delilah is still a puppy so she needs to be watched constantly.  Since she is puppy, she should not be crated for 8+ hours a day while her family works away from home.  Once she’s fully trained and can be trusted, then that would be ok as long as owner gives her a potty break during the day, if they work full time.    Delilah is very smart, mostly quiet dog. She catches on very quickly to commands. She is very loving. She is a delight to have around our family. She is sassy in a good way with so much personality. She is crate trained and is great in the crate.  Please consider giving this sweet girl a wonderful home filled with love.  She will give that love right back to you!            If you are looking for a new puppy to brighten your day?   Delilah might be just the girl for you. Please submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application at this link.      https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC .                         Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized  after they are altered at 5-6 months old.    Adopters must be willing to bring the puppy to the Raleigh area for all medical care needed.  F oster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.   INTERESTED IN ADOPTING DELILAH?
