Story
Meet Fiona, a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd who is ready to find her forever home. Fiona was surrendered to Second Chance due to the family having allergies, but her temperament and loving nature make her a wonderful companion.Fiona has lived with young children and a 7-month-old Golden Retriever, so she is comfortable in a family setting. True to her breed, she is alert, protective, and will let you know if she sees something new, making her an excellent watchdog. However, she’s not all business—she is also incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves attention. This smart girl is housebroken, crate-trained, and well-mannered. She knows basic commands like "sit" and "down" and is always eager to learn more. Fiona does pull a bit on the leash and would benefit from some training to walk more politely, but she’s a quick learner and will thrive with some consistency.Fiona would love a home with a fenced-in yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content. She is not suited for apartment living, as she enjoys having space to stretch her legs and keep an eye on everything around her.If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and active companion, Fiona could be the perfect fit for you. She’s ready to become a beloved member of your family!***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***

Story
Very difficult rehome, we love Bruni. But she is having a very hard time with our toddler. She has always been a very anxious dog who doesn’t like sudden movements. She is very sweet and fine with other dogs (though a bit intense, she’s never had a negative interaction with another dog. She may be a bit much for other dogs) and loves people and older kids. Shes 5 years old and we’ve had her since she was baby. But the toddler makes her very anxious and we don’t want to keep her in a separate room as often as she currently is. She is fine with 12 plus, but has always struggled with the unpredictable movements of young children. (We thought she would grow out of it) She loves fetch, herding balls, water, etc. We would love to see her go to a mostly childfree home that she can let out more of her energy in.

Her enthusiasm for outdoor activities is unmatched, making her the perfect companion for an active family with kids aged 8 and above.Agatha thrives in the company of other dogs, especially those weighing 25 pounds and up. Whether cruising along paved trails in her scooter chair or frolicking in the backyard with her canine pals, Agatha is in her element. Outdoors, she expresses herself vocally, yet indoors, she transforms into an incredibly quiet and well-behaved companion. At least a year old now, Agatha has mastered the art of a peaceful night's sleep in her dedicated room. Her adaptability is evident as she navigates ramps effortlessly, and a few stairs pose no challenge. Agatha eagerly welcomes belly rubs and craves attention, making her a delightful addition to any family. Puzzle toys keep her engaged, and she excels at outdoor bathroom breaks. For any accidents indoors, cloth pads prove to be an effective solution.Agatha's love extends to rides in the vehicle, where she handles the experience with ease. Story
Breed & Age: German Shepherd Mix, 1 year old Personality: Sweet, Silly & Goofy Likes & Dislikes: Likes - Playing, chew toys, cuddling. Hasn’t found anything to dislike yet!   Say “what’s up” to Willie Jack! This adorable pup is a bundle of joy who’s as sweet as he is silly! Willie Jack is always ready for some fun, whether it’s chasing toys, running around the yard, or curling up for a cozy nap once all the fun is done. Willie Jack is a lovable pup who knows his basic commands, is house and crate-trained, and is the perfect buddy to take on car rides for exciting adventures. He’s been living in a foster home with other dogs and is a big fan of his doggy buddies. He’d do well in a home with other dogs but could also be a solo co-pilot for all of your adventures. Though he’s still perfecting his leash skills, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner, and he is VERY food-motivated (which makes training a breeze). Willie Jack is on the lookout for a family who’s ready to keep up with his playful spirit, let him be a part of all the fun and outings, spend lots of time with him, and help him continue his training so he can be the best boy. If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving furry friend who’ll make every day an adventure, Willie Jack is waiting to be your new best buddy!  ##1832974##
