Story
Hello, there! I'm Mark, a charming 3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a striking black and white fur coat. My story began when I was just a pup of about four months old. Hungry and seeking kindness, I wandered into a guest house on the beautiful Jeju Island in Korea. Fortunately, compassionate souls took me in, providing me with food and care. Despite my lovable and well-behaved personality, I haven't yet found that forever family I long for, even at three years old. I simply adore people. Approaching them and sharing affection is something I absolutely cherish—I'll rub my body against them and gladly accept cuddles from both familiar faces and those I've just met. Car rides are a breeze for me, and I'm more than ready for a delightful walk with a leash. When it comes to other dogs, I approach them with a friendly greeting, though I prefer to build a rapport before engaging in play. Meeting a cat during a walk piques my curiosity, but I always follow my human's lead when it comes to the leash. My journey thus far has had its challenges, but I'm now eager to find my forever family, share affection, and live a joy-filled life. Are you the one I've been waiting for? Let's rub hearts and make beautiful memories together! 🐾❤️ For more videos: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxqRJ_5tCSi_Q-uLafHZJko&si=IP7YOIoFLA3ScLu2

Story
Remi was found as a stray by Condado beach in sunny Puerto Rico Summer of 2021. Remi is male 4 year old part German Shepherd, Labrador mix. He is neutered and house broken already, and follows commands like sit, stay, come here. He has been living with a foster family which currently has a senior German Shepherd (12 years old) and a 18-month old baby boy. He does extremely well with little children and babies, super gentle and affectionate towards all humans. He has received the best care, mostly an indoor dog, but does spend time outdoors in the backyard. He is up to date on all his vaccines, gets regular vet visits and has received treatment for fleas ticks and heartworms. Hes a ball of love and has a lot of affection to give. It is not in his nature to bark unless someone is at the front door, besides that you wont hear a peep from him. Remi also loves to go on long walks, and loves to play fetch as well. Please help us find a forever home for this awesome dog!

Story
Luna Bear is a perfect girl! She is the ultimate loyal companion and will follow you to the ends of the earth! She loves other dogs, rarely gets on furniture, and still has to be convinced that its ok to get on her foster mom's bed. She is less of a cuddler and more of the kind of dog that will protect you and have your back. She likes to be on watch and make sure everything is going well in her home. While she loves to lounge around on the floor, she does like to be your shadow if you leave the room. Luna Bear is extremely motherly with the human toddler in her foster home and needs to know where she is at all times, it's just the cutest thing! She understands that in the house her family stays calm and collected but when she is out into the yard, she is ready for playtime. She will need her family to be extra watchful at first when she is in the yard, as she takes a little time to decide that she's home and she might try to escape! Once she knows she's home and loved, she will never leave your side. She is completely potty trained and has amazing house manners, so her foster mom never has to crate her when she leaves the home. Shes been great with the resident cats, but outdoor cats/other furry critters seem fun to chase! She has a curious nature about her which is fun to watch! She really hopes to find a family or someone that would be as dedicated to her as she will be to them.

Story
My name is Rayne and I came to the shelter as a stray so not much is known about me. My two puppies have already found their forever home so now its my turn! I am super sweet, a little shy, and love treats/snacks. I have started to show signs of being an escape artist while here at OCAS and therefore, would benefit from a loving family who can provide a safe and secure place that I can call my own! Ask the front for more information about me! My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  If you are looking for a new puppy to brighten your day?   Delilah might be just the girl for you. Please submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application at this link.      https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC .               Delilah will be around 8 weeks old the end of February.  She weighs around 8 lbs and might be around 45-50 lb when fully grown. She is a cute little fur ball who looks to be a shepherd mix.  She has been in a foster home with her siblings and loves to play. She would really enjoy the company of another dog but would do fine as an only dog with humans who would play with her.  She is a very outgoing friendly puppy who is looking for her forever home.          Delilah is working on housetraining and doing very well. She will need to be taken outside on a regular basis to become fully housebroken.  Adopters who are not home during the day will need to have a plan which includes how to manage potty breaks for her.    &#226&#128&#139Please consider giving this sweet girl a wonderful home filled with love.  She will give that love right back to you!          Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized  after they are altered at 5-6 months old.    Adopters must be willing to bring the puppy to the Raleigh area for all medical care needed.  F oster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.   INTERESTED IN ADOPTING DELILAH?
