Eclipse came to us out of a drug house with her sister. Her owner wanted to reclaim but was not able to pay for basic care or medical. She was starved, full of parasites and not fixed. All that has been taken care of and she is now thriving. Good with dogs, people and kids, not cats.

We acquired our pet from a breeder in PA later finding out it was a possible puppy mill. Shelby is a intensely emotional dog and need someone who can be around all day. We had her professionally trained and boarded but she refuses to be an inside dog she poops and pees in the house without warning and is constantly sprinting. She was raised in a barn and refuses to change she a inside dog that wants to constantly be outside. She has been raised around 3 little ones and another medium dog we have been trying our best but with our 4th on the way and her not changing we can no longer keep up with her house training problems.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I am Calvin, Cal for short. I am a big goofy gentle giant of 6 years and 102 pounds. I never grew out of the loving puppy mode, I came into Roses Rescue because my original family, although they loved me, couldn't care for me anymore. I am allergic to poultry and corn - they give me ear infections. So I have been put on a food where salmon is the main protein. It is delicious!!! I have been getting a squirt of salmon oil on my food, too, It is going to help my coat get soft and shiny.I may still have chronic ear issues, because they were not taken care of for so long. I am very agreeable to massaging and touching my ears. It feels so good. My two favorite things in the world are being around people and playing fetch. I will bring my toy to you and drop it at your feet for you to throw again and again and again. I an not at all fond of cats, but I get along great with other dogs. Right now my best pal is a little Frenchie. We run around the back yard together. I love playing with kids, too, but, because of my size they need to be older kids. I don't want to accidentally knock anyone over. I need a fenced in yard because that is what I am used to. I do not have a lot of experience on a leash or getting in and out of a car. I am crate trained and potty trained. However, I don't need crated because I can be trusted alone. Do you have room in your heart and home for this big ol' lover boy?
