Meet Gus! Within the first 24 hours of Gus arriving, he became very attached and quickly learned my property boundaries. He doesn't roam and gets along very well with both cats and my dog. Initially, he swam in the pond but now prefers just to dip his front feet in. Gus listens well, but I rarely need to give him commands because he is always aware of where his people are and is very attentive. He loves running beside the gator and barks at strangers, which I appreciate, but he is kind and not aggressive toward anyone or anything. His appearance may be intimidating, but he's a gentle soul. Gus doesn't chew on furniture, shoes, or anything else. He is curious but doesn't cause any harm. We're working on house training, as it seems his previous owner may not have taught him proper bathroom habits. However, he is making great progress with crating and has been accident-free for two days now. Gus is an awesome dog—so adaptable and kind. With the constant activity around here, he just hangs out and observes. We spend a lot of time outside at my farm and he loves it. Gus is truly a wonderful companion and would make a fantastic addition to any home! His adoption fee is $400 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. If you are in the market for an XL adorable dog, look no further! OSU Brutus was DNA tested, and he is indeed a mix of GSD and Great Pyreneese. What a combo! With that being said, I am looking for a home that has experience with guard dogs, because he has shown signs of these guarding tendencies, and a home that will be a great fit for him will be priority. He is house trained, crate trained, and is an all around great dog in the home. He loves playing with his toys, playing fetch, and a kiddie pool is something he finds entertaining on these hot summer days while outside. Because of his guarding tendencies, we are looking for a home with older children only. He should be fine with other dogs in the home with a proper introduction, but has not been around cats. Do you know what I mean when you see a dog that is so gorgeous, he stops you in your tracks? Well, introducing Chancey! This incredibly handsome 4 year boy is now available and looking for a loving home. He has been a wonderful house guest, and really just appreciates being in a home and hanging out. He is potty trained and house trained, and has been good with my 7 year old grandson. He knows a few commands, like sit and shake, and is eager to learn new things if treats are involved. He does pretty good on leash, but does pull a bit occasionally. I have found he does better in a crate if there is another dog in the home he can see. He has been polite to my 25lb senior dog, and had a blast playing in the fenced in yard with another foster puppy. I am asking for a fenced in yard, or an active family that will get him out of the house for long walks or hikes. No condos or apartments due to him being loud on occasion. His adoption fee is $250, and includes all up to date vetting, neuter, microchip, and endless love from Chancey!! Zoie is 2 1/2 years old, and I have had her since she was 10 weeks old. She is a great family pet, has always been good around kids and cats, she can be reactive towards dogs that come off aggressive such as running up to her barking and biting at her. She has show reactiveness towards strangers but if I talk to them she seems to calm down, she's protective. I'm unfortunately worried about being able to care for her needs as I work a part time job and I'm enrolled in school full time and I find myself becoming busier with every semester that passes. She is an active dog that loves to be outdoors. She is also very loving towards my family, even those who don't live with me and greets them with kisses anytime they make an appearance. I'm looking to avoid putting her in a shelter as I love her and only want the best kind of person to be able to care for her.
