Hi! This is Rocky. We rescued him at a sweet 3 months old. He loves to play, be outdoors, and he has a vibrant personality! Due to losing a family member and transitioning to caregiver, I don’t get to spend a lot of time with him. The past year has been tough with not allocating time for play and being outdoors. It makes me sad to leave him home all day. I’d love for someone to be able to spend more time with him, care for him, and give him loads of love. He’s a very special dog. He has become more anxious and I would like for someone with experience with behavioral training (no first time dog families).

Myself & 2 kids (7&10 at the time) adopted Jovie at 12wks from One of a Kind shelter in Mar 2025. Her mom was a rescued pregnant stray who birthed her litter on 12/25/2024. Being a X-Mas baby we named her Jovie after the girl elf in the movie Elf. Jovie will give you her tilted head,1 ear up,1 down look when you say “wanna go for a ride?” which is her favorite thing to do! She is great with my kids & loves playing with them. She’s a Shepard mix (other breed unknown) Shepard side seems to dominate as she’s quite protective. Don’t worry about anyone breaking in or lurking strangers, she’ll let you know ;) Jovie is crate trained but not necessary. She’s our only dog but grew up visiting dog parks & seems to get along with dogs just fine. We have a cat Jovie grew up with & hoped in time would stop chasing but won’t. It’s unfair to our cat & causing her great stress which is the reason we’re looking to re-home. If you are a cat-free, good home please consider adopting our very loved Jovie!

Axel came to us after my boyfriend’s uncle passed away. He had lost his wife and thats when he got the dog. He is almost 3 years old and full of energy. He is trained to work and constant brain stimulus. The previous owner was a retired army veteran was home most of the time. We didn’t plan on getting a second dog and as much as we love him I find that he would be better in a less busy household. My American bully does great in our house but I am learning that GSD are very different. He gets along with my other dog but they are male and female so they act like brother and sister. Not sure how he would do with another male. We also have cats and he tries to jump at them but backs away when they hiss. Axel loves pets and belly rubs but does not like feeling trapped, hanging around his neck, or being picked up. He likes his personal space rather than cuddles. He is trained and we have been working with him on and off a leash. Along with other commands to benefit him in his next home.
