Story
Titan’s Foster Journey – Titan has been an absolute joy to foster. From the first night, it’s been amazing to watch him come out of his shell more and more each day. Every evening, he’s grown more comfortable, showing us just how loving and loyal he really is. Titan is a fantastic listener and so sweet with both me and my roommate—he truly just wants to be near his people and share his big heart. One of Titan’s best traits is how much he adores meeting new people. Whether it’s adults or kids, he’s always gentle, friendly, and ready for a tail wag and some love. He’s a social butterfly when it comes to humans and charms everyone he meets. One of Titan’s favorite things in the world is cuddling. He loves to snuggle up on the couch and be as close as possible—it’s clear he finds so much comfort in just being near his humans. While Titan is wonderful with people, he does need to be kept separate from other dogs. He doesn’t do well in canine company, and it’s important for his comfort and safety that he has space away from them. Because of this, I’m a bit concerned about how he’ll handle foster events where many dogs are present. Titan shines brightest in a calm, dog-free environment where he can focus on his people and thrive. He deserves a loving home that understands his needs—and he’ll give back so much more in return. Titan is one special dog, and I feel lucky to have spent this time with him.

Meet Sosa!Sosa is a retired Explosive Detection Dog who spent her career sniffing out threats and keeping people safe, but now she`s ready to trade in her harness for a life of relaxation and recreation.Sosa is a true athlete who loves to stay active! She`s an avid swimmer and will spend hours splashing around in the water. She`s also a lover of a good brushing session - there`s nothing she loves more than having her fur softly stroked and pampered. And, of course, she`s always up for a game of fetch or catch with her favorite balls! With her CWD training, Sosa is incredibly intelligent and has a strong work ethic. She thrives on mental stimulation and challenges, so she`ll need a home that can provide her with engaging activities and problem-solving exercises. Story
He is a 7-year-old neutered male, a German Shepherd/Husky mix, and has been a beloved part of our family since he was a puppy. It breaks my heart to have to make this decision, but with a new baby on the way, I realize I will not have the time, space, or ability to give Anubis the attention, exercise, and care he truly deserves. He is a loyal and affectionate companion who thrives with human interaction, and it is very important to me that he finds a rescue or home where he can continue to receive the love and engagement he needs. He requires lots of exercise, correction, love and care. He has anxiety and is on off/on trazadone medication for moments were he may be to stimulated. Thank you so much for considering Anubis. I would be more than happy to provide any additional information about him or assist with his transition in any way needed.

Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 5/14/2025 Dallas is an amazing dog with a few quirks. She knows basic commands. She walks well on leash. She gets along with other dogs. She lives with a cat and 4 other dogs, a caged bird and outdoor chickens in a pen. She has never lived with small children so is not recommended for homes with small children. She likes girl energy over boy energy when around children and interactions have been of the supervised variety as her foster does not have any small humans in the house. Ideally Dallas would like her forever home to be: Low key with a friendly male dog and an adult human or 2 or three with a fenced yard and people who like to go for walks. While it is not in her best interest (she made my type it), Dallas would like a home that gives out lots of treats and she doesn't mean on Halloween. Dallas is a very treat motivated girl and her family should be active enough to walk off those treats. Dallas doesn't like wisshy wasshy and likes to know what is what and that strangers are not going to hurt her, so someone with GSD experience would be good. Dallas takes some time to warm up and her new family has to be willing to give her a couple weeks to figure it out. Dallas is still a little quirky at her foster home. If she is startled by someone in the house she makes a copious amount of noise to alert everyone that the person who startled her is a body snatcher and she has to go and sniff them with her tall wagging. People who are not familiar with Dallas could be afraid of this but Dallas wags her tail and sniffs the body snatchers and realizes that it is someone she knows. She would be great if your least favorite MIL were to come over to stay for a couple weeks and don't tell her Dallas won't actually eat her--It would make the visit shorter. To be sure Dallas can occasionally erupt in noise, her foster family laughs at her and tells her no one is taking her seriously. Most of the day Dallas is very quiet and she is quiet in her crate when crated. She is house and crate trained. Dallas is not a destructive dog and has been trusted to be in the house uncrated at times. Dallas is loving and sweet once she knows you. Dallas is loud enough that she could scare away unwanted visitors---just not sure she has it in her to do anything more than bark. If you are a patient person and willing to give Dallas the time to settle in, you will be rewarded by a faithful companion that is well trained and well behaved. She asked me to remind any perspective adopters that she likes the soft sausage/apple treats from Cosco, All Rococco treats and the raw bones from the Bone guy in the Berner bus at the farmers market. She also said if your that guy who said he doesn't train with treats from last weekend---"Don't Bother Applying" She didn't like you. 12/15/24 Dallas is doing well at her foster home and has learned lots. While she is a terrific dog, it takes her a week or so to get used to her new people. You will get back the patience you put into helping Dallas get comfortable ten fold. Dallas is a very loving dog and has learned to just lay down and chill out with her foster mom. Once she is comfortable with her people, Dallas is amazing but it takes a week or so for her new people to get there. 11/26/24 Dallas is working hard and expanding her horizons. She has learned that chilling while watching TV is a good thing when she has a bone or other chewy. Dallas is a loyal dog and is looking for a new family that will give her a week or so to settle in and transfer to a new home. She isn't the flip of the switch kinda girl that loves everyone at first sight. Dallas will reward you for your patience by being your loyal companion, ready to go anywhere. Dallas has good leash manners. She is crate trained and house trained. Dallas has no problem being crated while you are at work. Dallas likes long walks and enjoys going for long line walks in the field near her fosters home. Dallas plays well with most other dogs unless the other dog starts stuff, but even then when corrected, Dallas walks away. Dallas would do best in a home with a fun loving male dog so that they can play and use up energy. Dallas has never lived with small children and because of this, she is not recommended for children under 10. Dallas would love a family that wanted to do advanced training with a dog. She is very smart and likes to learn new things. 9/16/24 Dallas is a unique girl and not your typical pet. She wants a job. She is very in tune with her handler . She learns things quick and you feel safe and confident when she is walking next to you in a perfect heal. Dallas ignores 95 percent of distractions in large crowds. She does well on basic obedience and is looking for a handler that wants to take her to the next level of training. Dallas is quiet in her crate and has no problem chillin in her crate over night or while you are at work. Dallas likes playing with other dogs and would be happy to be adopted as a companion for an active friendly male dog. Dallas is not your new BFF if you are looking for cuddles and a dog who is going to sit and be petted. She will wiggle her butt and say she is happy to see you when you first get her from her crate or if you are one of her small circle of people friends. Dallas pretty much ignores other people when out and about (she does alert the house when someone comes past the yard). If you are interested in training a dog for search and rescue or know someone looking to train a working dog, Dallas might be the perfect fit. Dallas is a good dog---just not the kinda pet most people are looking for. If you are or know someone that is Please share Dallas and help us help her find her Happy Ending. 6/24/2024 Dallas is a 10 month old mixed breed GSD She is looking for a family that likes walks and is a smart dog that learns new things quickly. So if you are looking for a training buddy, she might just be the one! She loves to play and attends doggie daycare with up to 8 other dogs. She is energetic and loves to play--some dogs find her a little too much and she looks to play with dogs who are on her play level. An energetic like minded dog would be ideal for her future home. Bonus, Dallas is house trained and crate trained. . Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.

Story
We got Sam from a friend whose two GSD’s had a litter on March 23, 2023. We got her June of 2023. She is so loving and playful, but loud towards people and pets she doesn’t know. Has never bit a person or animal. She doesn’t jump up and bark, but that’s all false bravado prior to licking faces. My family and I are just allergic. We’ve tried for years to deal with it by taking Zyrtec and other allergy medications, but we’re just always sick. I’m hoping to send her to a family that also has space in their house. We have plenty of outdoor space at our apartment complex, but our place is small and she deserves better. Rehoming fee is $400 because I want her to go to someone who is serious about her quality of life and will appreciate what a beautiful, loving girl she is.
