4/27/26: See ya later, everyone! I'm being shipped off to the rescue's monthly Prison Program today! While I'm there I'll get some basic training, crate training, and some socialization. I won't be available for adoption until I return to the rescue on May 26th. If you'd like to come meet me when I'm back, please schedule your appointment that Wednesday the 27th. Until then! --- 4/20/26: Meet Meesha 🐾 Meesha is a beautiful 5-year-old shepherd with a striking mostly black coat accented by touches of tan. She came to us from Louisiana after being surrendered through no fault of her own, and she’s now ready to begin her next chapter with a loving forever family. Meesha is a sweet girl with a kind disposition who enjoys human companionship and being part of the action. She will benefit from continued training to help refine her manners and build a strong bond with her future family. She’s a smart and determined dog who likes to keep life interesting, including showing off her impressive ability to climb a 6-foot fence if given the opportunity. Because of this, she will need a home that can provide a secure and supervised environment to keep her safe. Meesha can be reactive toward other dogs, so she is looking for a home where she can truly shine as the one and only pet. She’s ready to embrace her role as the “queen of the castle” and soak up all the love and attention for herself. She is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations, making her ready to head home with the right match. Meesha is ready for her fresh start. With structure, patience, and love, she has all the potential to be a loyal and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a smart, spirited dog who will keep life full of personality, Meesha may be your perfect fit. 💛 --- 4/7/26: Meet Meesha! 🐾 Meesha is a beautiful 5-year-old shepherd with a striking mostly black coat accented by touches of tan. She made her way to us from Louisiana, where she was surrendered to a shelter through no fault of her own, and is now ready for a fresh start and a loving forever home. Meesha is a nice girl with a sweet disposition, but she will certainly benefit from training to help polish her manners and set her up for success in her future home. She is also very determined and can climb a 6-foot fence if she wants to, so she’ll need a home prepared to keep her safe and secure. This lovely girl is just waiting for someone to give her the second chance she deserves!💛

Story
Meet Arnie & Linear 🐾🐾 Arnie and Linear are two handsome brothers, approximately 11 months old, who came to us after being surrendered by their owner to a shelter in New Jersey. While they’re still settling in and adjusting to rescue life, one thing has already become very clear... these two truly lean on each other for comfort and confidence. Because of that bond, we would absolutely love to see them find a forever home together. ❤️ Like most young shepherds, Arnie and Linear are full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for life. They love playtime, staying active, and keeping busy, and they’ll need a home ready to provide them with both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Watching the two of them romp around together is like watching furry ping-pong balls ricochet through the yard. 🎾 Both boys could benefit from continued training and structure to help polish up their manners as they mature. They’re still young and learning, which means they have tons of potential in the right environment. With consistency, patience, and guidance, they’re likely to grow into wonderful companions. Arnie and Linear are looking for a home that understands the commitment of raising young, active dogs and is excited about the idea of helping two brothers continue growing side by side. For the right family, this duo is going to bring double the laughs, double the adventures, and double the love. 🖤

Story
Meet Cora 🐾 Cora came to us after spending much of her life as a puppy mill momma. That chapter is finally behind her, and now she’s getting the chance to discover what it truly means to just be a dog... safe, cared for, and loved for who she is. Cora is a high-energy girl with a zest for life that’s impossible to miss. She’s curious, active, and eager to explore the world around her. Everything still feels new to her, and watching her experience simple joys for the first time has been incredibly special. ✨ She’s very much in her “learning how to dog” era right now, soaking in new experiences and figuring things out one step at a time. Because of her background, Cora will need a patient home willing to guide her as she continues building confidence and learning routines. Cora would do best with an active family or person who can give her both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Dogs like her often flourish when given structure, consistency, and reassurance... and once they realize they’re finally safe, their personalities begin to bloom like fireworks in slow motion. 🎆 If you’re looking for an active companion and are ready to help a deserving girl grow into her best self, Cora may be the perfect addition to your home. 🐾

Story
Meet Freya 🐾 Freya is a beautiful girl estimated to be around 6 years old who found her way to us after originally being picked up as a stray by a shelter. She has since been transferred into our rescue, where she’s beginning the next chapter of her life surrounded by care, stability, and plenty of fresh starts. Freya is still settling in and decompressing as she adjusts to all the new sights, sounds, and routines around her. Even so, it’s already clear that she’s an active girl who enjoys staying engaged and moving right alongside her people. ✨ As we continue getting to know her, we’ll be learning more about her personality, preferences, and what kind of home will help her thrive best. Dogs coming from stray situations often need a little time for their true selves to emerge, and watching that process unfold is always something special. Freya is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, making her fully ready to begin searching for the forever home she deserves. For someone looking for an active companion and willing to give her the patience she needs while she settles in, Freya could be a wonderful addition to the family. 🖤

Story
Meet Sapphire Sapphire is a stunning solid white girl with a gentle heart and a loving personality to match her beauty. She came to our rescue through no fault of her own after her previous owners realized they could not give her the space she needed to truly thrive. Without a yard to run and play in, Sapphire wasn’t getting the active lifestyle she deserved, and now she’s searching for a fresh start with a family ready to help her shine. This sweet girl has previously lived with a teenager and did wonderfully with him, showing herself to be patient, affectionate, and eager to be part of the family. Sapphire enjoys being around her people and would love a home where she can spend time both playing outdoors and relaxing beside the ones she loves most. Sapphire is the kind of dog who turns heads with her snowy white coat, but it’s her kind spirit that truly leaves a lasting impression. She’s ready for a forever home that will give her the room to stretch her legs, the love she deserves, and the chance to finally settle into a life full of adventure, comfort, and companionship.
