Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 2 years old and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2024, 12:20 am

Story
This is Pintas, we were asked to help this girl. The finder had been feeding her for a while trying to get her help and off the mean streets of RGV (Rio Grande Valley) where very bad things happen to animals all the time. She didn't have any luck and one day about 2 mos ago the finder went outside to feed Pintas and found that she couldn't walk or stand up. Pintas was hit by a car and left on the side of the road like trash in severe pain and to die alone. Pintas finder rushed her to the vet where we then learned that pintas had a fractured pelvis. We also learned at that time that Pintas was heartworm positive. She had to wait until she healed to be spayed. She will be scheduled in the coming week. Once she heals from spay surgery she will then start heartworm treatment. Puntas has made such stride and progress when the vets didn't have much hope for a 100% recovery. Pintas now can run, jump and play. Something the vet didn't expect to happen. They said that she would need surgery but Pintas proved them all wrong. She will be available for adoption once she finishes her heartworm treatment. If you are interested in adopting Pintas please send us a message or you can apply directly at coalmountain.org ##1454970##

Story
Please everyone meet Tucker. He is one of the gsd mix puppies that was dumped on the side of the road with their mom in RGV. The foster drove hours away to save them from the cruel streets. They were severely under weight when they entered care. Mom and her babies have been with their foster since day one and are finally healthy enough to leave for their forever homes. Tucker is current on vaccines and flea and tick meds, he will be neutered prior to adoption. Tucker is located in Texas but transport is available for an approved adopter. Story
Phoenix is a 16 week old male neutered Shepherd/husky mix. He was found in the middle of nowhere in Texas with his 2 other siblings. They were taken to the shelter but due to their medical needs the shelter couldn't provide the adequate care needed. We pulled all 3 and rushed them to one vet only to be told that they wouldn't see them. We rushed them to another vet an hr away and they were all immediately admitted.  All 3 pups had mange,  scabies and were severely dehydrated.  They remained in the vets office for weeks getting medicated baths plus medical to treat their skin. Unfortunately the one sibling passed away a week later, he had swimmer syndrome and was too far gone. Phoenix is alive and well thanks to all the vet techs and vet working round the clock to treat him. Phoenix is current on his vaccines,  microchipped and also neutered.  Phoenix is a very clean puppy. He is very smart. He won't mess in his crate. He is crate trained as well. He is 16 weeks old and full of energy. He is friendly with other dogs. Phoenix is looking for his forever home with a family that loves to be outside and just enjoy the company of a 4 legged companion.  Phoenix will do best in a home with another dog so he can continue to thrive. Phoenix is looking for a foster or forever home. Phoenix is located in Auburn Pa.  If you are interested in fostering or adopting Phoenix please fill out the application on our website at coalmountain.org  Phoenix adoption fee also Includes his transport fee. ##1737623##

Story
Everyone wants the dog to be saved but no one wants to adopt the dog Stormy is one of our several adoptables who escaped timestamp at ACCT Philly. She has been waiting six months for someone to come along and apply to meet her. We are fingers crossed it’s out there soon!  This lovely girl was surrendered to the open intake shelter in Philadelphia with a terrible injury to her eye.  Her injury was more than the veterinary staff at the shelter could handle or properly treat so she was quickly timestamped. We saw her and knew she deserved a second chance. After getting her to foster and one of our vet partners, sadly her eye could not be saved and successfully removed. Since she had no vision in the damaged eye removing it has not altered her life in anyway!  Stormy is an approx 3 year old Husky/Shep mix.  Some of Stormy’s favorite things are belly rubs, cuddles, getting brushed and going on car rides. She walks beautifully on leash, takes treats very gently and has shown no signs of resource guarding while in our care. She knows many basic commands, which comes in very handy when she sees squirrels and bunnies and follows the leave it command beautifully! Stormy uses a heavy duty crate to keep her safe when her foster isn’t home and does well. She doesn’t love being home alone for super long periods of time but has continued to improve. She absolutely loves all humans, both tiny and adult Stormy gets so excited when she meets other doggies. Her play style can be a little over the top, so a dog who can keep up with her play will be needed if any dogs reside in the home. Due to her prey drive, no small dogs or cats for this sweet girl To adopt Stormy: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NARP/Dog &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137&#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191&#225&#181&#137&#203&#161 &#203&#161&#226&#129&#177&#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137&#226&#129&#191&#203&#162&#225&#181&#137:  ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188 &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163 ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129&#202&#183&#225&#182&#156&#202&#176&#203&#161&#225&#181&#131&#226&#129&#191&#225&#181&#136, &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172 ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176  &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 October 3, 2024, 9:06 pm
